Satellite L750/05q - Wireless LED not working not

Have a L750/05q running Win 7 64 bit.
Wireless works fine but the Wifi led not lighting up when wireless enabled, only the bluetooth led indicator lights when Bluetooth Wifi on or on.

Toshiba listed last Toshiba site update driver from Atherios - 9.2.0.316 (my model is not listed on their support site to THE), but still open-ended. Wireless works fine.
Also updated also, the network driver (Realtek)

Wonder if it's just a hardware failure rather than the driver.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Hello

BT and the Wlan using a LED indicator.

This means that the light flashes orange when the BT and Wlan functions are lit!

  • Satellite Pro 6100 Wireless does not work after restoring from HARD drive

After that restore disks for installing a new HD and use and to update XP sp2, the Wireless does not work and if the card is installed XP hangs then works in fits and starts. If the card not in place, not bad at all.

Booting from a Linux CD, the card works perfectly! I assume that the driver is the problem. The wireless card is the original, an Agere MPC13A-20/R, with Toshiba p/n PA317U-1MPC.

I have found some drivers Agere, but am not sure

    (1) if they are correct
    (2) how to install since the machine works in a way limited with the card in place.

    Any advice?

    Hello

I checked the page of the pilot and the only available for Windows XP WLan driver is the driver of v.1.11.108 Agere.

    (1) just try to install this driver. If the driver is not correct or is not compatible, then windows will not install the driver and you will receive a notification. You just have to try

    (2) generally you may reinstall the driver from the Device Manager. Open network controller tree, and then you can reinstall the driver.

But this is only possible if the windows started successfully

PS: Have you checked the information of Microsoft Windows XP SP2 update on the page of the Toshiba driver.
I discovered that you need to update several utilities if you have installed SP2 on this laptop.

  • Satellite L750-A114 - display does not

    Hello world

So sad story, I bought a Toshiba satellite series notebook PC (L750 A114) 20th day of the month last through digital LLC Dubai. I gave the maximum care for the last 20 days. Sentence might have used for 10 hours.

Yesterday, I started to do something and closed the screen and kept in the mode 'sleep' (I hope that it goes into sleep mode while closing the screen).
Orange light on the far left at the front of the laptop was that I guess.

Thought he was in the mode.then sleep later in the night after 3-4 hours I opened the laptop and you press the power button once to turn on the laptop, but instead of this, he went off.then do not think to put it on again.

In the morning when I tried to turn on the laptop, it starts, but no display is coming.lights on the keyboard are all about. Can someone help me please on this?.

I am so depressed thinking about the money I spent for this and works that I let go because I don't have another pc or laptop with me.

    Laptop specifications are:
    TOSHIBA SATELLITE L750 A114
    I7 2670QM D 6 750 15.6 BT 2 G WC W7HP white

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hello

    Try this:
The laptop must be turned off.
And remove the AC adapter and the battery.
Now press power 30 sec long and wait a bit.
Now connect the battery and the AC adapter and try turning on the device.

This support allows you to get the laptop working again?

  • Satellite Pro L40 Wireless does not and wont stop correctly

    Hello
just got a Satellite Pro L40-15 1 week ago and it's been downhill.

The Wireless does not work (and yes the switch is activated and drivers installed). Sometimes windows recognizes no device when I boot.

And when I stopped he said blocking down, but crashes just on this screen.

Now, I'm an advanced user, so I've tried many things. Can anyone help?

    Thank you

As a first step, I would recommend to use the Toshiba Recovery CD and renew the operating system.
Then update the Vista of the State. I mean to install patches and fixes Vista all published.

    Check this thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//thread.jspa?MessageID=107665

Here you can see that a missing patches can have a bad influence on the wireless network card and the entire operating system!

    Good luck

  • Satellite L500D-163 - Wireless does not

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite L500D-163 (with card wireless 802.11 b/g/n)
Router: Pirelli Discus (having support 802.11 b/g).

    Hello

I bought a portable Toshiba, Satellite L500D-163, two days ago.

Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux 10.04, the Wireless does not work. It shows all the available wireless network neighborhood, including mine, but it connects to my network.

I also have an Acer laptop that connects to my network wireless without problem.

I placed the Toshiba laptop side by side with my Acer laptop and tried all the options:
    802 11b, 802.11 g - WEP, WPA, WPA2
with simple passwords of the style: "00000000".

and SSID wireless to the router changed something as simple as "abcde".
Computer Acer laptop connected without problem in all cases, but Toshiba didn't connect.

In Windows 7, the connection information appears as connected but 'Limited' and the software Toshiba says that the laptop is not getting an IP address.

I manually entered the IP address (192.168.1.2), subnet mask (255.255.255.0) and the default gateway (192.168.1.1 router =) below the configuration in Windows 7 wireless card, but it did not work.

The laptop must support Toshiba, or y at - it an incompatibility with my router?

    Thank you.

    Great! Thanks for that!

  • Satellite L750 - 17 p does not load Windows

Hi all... I have a Toshiba Satellite L750 - 17 p, since a few days now, when I turn on the PC after the toshiba logo I get the loading screen and the window ms back with the inscription: system32 / drvload.exe
MS-DOS screen remains empty and the computer doesn't load... could you help me?

Are able to repair the system using the Windows own repair options?
I guess you are using Win 7 because this system has been pre-installed by Toshiba.
Switch on and press F8. Here, you choose the first option called fix my computer.
Now you should be able to choose between several options. I think you should try the first option that allows you to automatically repair the system.

If this option does not help, try to set the system on the last good configuration/status running

  • On Satellite L750/0 wireless connectivity issues s 5

    I own a laptop L750/0 s 5.

I seem to have a problem with my wireless connection, where anywhere not at 10 m from the router the connection cuts in and out with the yellow sign 'limited connectivity' always appears. disconnect and reconnect solves the problem for a few minutes. Ive resorted to the close session of the router.

the computer is 2 months old, the Wlan driver is up-to-date. power options have been configured to be on maximum performance for Wlan etc etc.

The main thing that annoys me, it's all the others (much older laptops) in our House very much work where mine doesn't. I actually lost performance from where I can get my old toshiba portege m300 to this new wireless signals.

In terms of information, the computer is running windows 7. Wireless network card is Atheros AR9002WB-1NG.

If theres any other information that you need, as im sure there will be, I would like to know and ill try my best.

    The router is really new.

    Thanks for your help

    > the computer is 2 months old, the Wlan driver is up-to-date. power options have been configured to be on maximum performance for Wlan etc etc.

The latest Wlan drivers can be found here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/?page=downloads

Please keep in mind that you use the latest driver v9.2.0.419.0

To be honest, I had the same idea to disable the power save for Wlan and it more often it should work are you sure that you have changed this in the same power station that is used when the laptop is running on battery power?

However, it would be interesting to know if the Satellite L750 uses the same Wlan 802.11 standard, as do other portable
In the Device Manager-> properties-> Advanced tab Wlan card, you can choose the standard Wlan 802.11
    Recommend to check this

  • Satellite L750 - do FN keys not working not properly

    Hi people!

(notice - English is not my mother tongue, sorry bad language).

    L750 satellite. -Win 7, 64 bit

    PROBLEMS:
Using the FN key works well for the volume control, but that's all.
When you press the fn, the Panel keys shortcut appear not correctly (stuck in the upper on-screen) and I cannot adjust the brightness of the screen, can not activate the WIFI etc.

I have reset and changed the settings on Flash cards, but nothing helped.
I have no option for the delivery of the Flash cards, can't find when I search to start Explorer.

A lot of browsing on the forums shows users suggest to uninstall and reinstall in the following order:

    * + Added value package +.
    * + Toshiba Flash card driver +.

    * But I can't find * Toshiba Flash Cards Driver anywhere... !

Any suggestions? Should I tweak registry?

Can't think of any ways to solve this annoying glitch; p

    Hello

In many cases the Support Flash Card utility is already part of the VAP (value added package).
Therefore, you should try to reinstall the VAP.

I found one on the European driver Toshiba page:
    [Win 64 bit value Package1.5.4.64 | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 178 & selProduct = 6462 selSh ortMod = null & language = 13 & selOS = 30 & selType = all & yearu pload = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = a llMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = al l & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = all & page = 5 & ID = 79691 & OSI D = 30 & driverLanguage = 42]

I recommend you to uninstall the old VAP first.
Then restart and clean the registry with CCLeaner.
Reboot once more and install the downloaded VAP.
Restart and test the Fn buttons.

  • Satellite C660-108 - Wireless does not work

    Hey everybody,

New to the forum, I had to sign up because of a problem with shame. I would like to apologize in advance because I know nothing about how computers work.

I have a toshiba satellite c660-108, windows 7 OS. Yesterday I was updating it and I used it very well after that I restarted. He stops and went to bed. Today, I turned on and he did a system restore, don't know why. So all went through and then it wouldn't connect to the internet wireless, only ethernet cable (http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=69127&tstart=0 - same problem as far as I can tell).

I'm in the middle of my diploma thesis and word does not work now, so I did a full factory restore hoping everything would be ok. This isn't.

Ive tried to download the driver toshiba wireless, just didn't work. It currently downloads Realtek but I'm sure it won't work either.

How to get another wireless network card?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    James

The essential is that you it works again.
    So congratulations. :)

    3. I use Realtek 8191SE drivers have been updated (wireless card, Ethernet, Bios)

I tried through the Ubuntu forum, but still no luck. Please help me if you can provide me with a good driver or can guide me as well.

Now it just doesn't quite work.
I can connect through the LAN and I have another laptop that connects to the router with no problems.

I checked in the Device Manager, the wireless card works correctly and I've updated the drivers for it but no. - GB.

    Any help would be great.
    see you soon

    Hello

Try to remove the network adapter from Device Manager wireless.
Then restart the computer and reinstall newest WLan driver that you can download on the page of the Toshiba driver!

Second, you could try to set up the WiFi network using an Intel ProSet Utility (but only if you have a Wlan Intel card.)

If you have an Atheros Wlan card, then try using the Atheros Client utility for configuring Wlan

  • Satellite L40 - the Wireless does not connect until svchost has been disabled

    Hello.

I have a Satellite L40 without BONES, I bought and I installed a XP/SP3. I have a small problem when I connect to my wireless NET. It does not connect until I open the Task Manager and remove one of the two svchost process open with the name 'network service '.

Someone has an idea of why this never happens and how to fix it (I can opperate thereafter, but is a little annoying to have to do each time).

    Thank you.

Tried to reinstall the wlan drivers and utilities already? When you do so, you should check the download pages of Toshiba for the latest version of the driver.

Is the WinXP installation you have performed, had integrated SP3 or SP2? Because I would like to know if wlan worked with SP2.
