  Maybe it s a controller keyboard problem
  Did you check if the cable is correctly connected?

  In my opinion if you are sure that the keyboard is ok 100% the problem to be attached to the motherboard because there is no other party that is placed between the keyboard and the mobo.

  I reinstalled my windows 7 64 bit on my laptop Satellite A660 and downloaded most, if not all the drivers on the official site of Toshiba UK.

  Although I do not use the FN keys, keep it bugs me knowing that they do not work.

  So... when I press the fn and none of my keys f1 - f9, they do not do anything, no card flash or anything like that.

  But the touch buttons to the upper work (the eco (I think), wireless, media, pause/start, light, decrease volume and increase volume) when I press them they sound and everything, but no flash cards is (not sure but I think that there is no flash cards for those) However when I press the power button on top of the mouse everything works including the flash ECAD

  The normal keys F1 - F12 function

  Tried to uninstall the pack of value-added and install again (after rebooting my laptop)
  Tried to restart flash cards too
  None of the above worked.

  I had Satellite L850 bite of windows 8 64 (pskg8a-07f001) running for only 2 months.

  You can use the traditional keys FN + F mode or just a F key mode.
  This can be enabled and disabled in the BIOS or the HWSetup

  In BIOS go to Advanced-> system-> the function mode button configuration
  This mode can be changed
  Also remember that the function button is activated too

  Have you tried to delete preinstalled Toshiba value added Package and install the latest version of the Toshiba download page?

• Satellite L750/05q - Wireless LED not working not

  Have a L750/05q running Win 7 64 bit.
  Wireless works fine but the Wifi led not lighting up when wireless enabled, only the bluetooth led indicator lights when Bluetooth Wifi on or on.

  Toshiba listed last Toshiba site update driver from Atherios - 9.2.0.316 (my model is not listed on their support site to THE), but still open-ended. Wireless works fine.
  Also updated also, the network driver (Realtek)

  Wonder if it's just a hardware failure rather than the driver.

  Try to also restart Toshiba Flash Cards (start > all programs > Toshiba) and repeatedly press the FN keys.

  Have you noticed the same behavior with external keyboard? Probably only the internal keyboard is faulty and so not all of the keys will be recognized.

  Also check the current version of BIOS and have a look at the official website of Toshiba for an update:

  But if an external keyboard works properly the internal keyboard needs to be replaced. Lifetime warranty valid it can be done free of charge of an authorized service.

  Satellite L300D-135 (PSLC8E-02P013EN) portable model, boot cold keyboard is fine. As things warm up the keys R and there stop responding as do 7890 keys. May be heat related.

Have flashed the latest BIOS as saw talk of the keyboard problems in one of the versions of the BIOS. The end user has been tolerated for a few months, but now, Dyslexic child needs to use the laptop and cannot deal with dead keys.

  Any ideas? Laptop is 2 weeks out of warranty and user end just asked me to take a peek, problem has been around for the warranty period.
