Satellite L750/L755 - sound problem

I have a Satellite L750/L755. I got it for three years.

I recently had problems with the sound. When I turn on my laptop, I am able to read audio data for 30-40 minutes, then it just turns off. I clicked on the "speaker" icon and it seems that it works ok, but there is no sound. When I play with the sound of reading, I have her again but then it last for another 5 minutes and his party yet :/

Please help... its getting boring now! My work revolves around my laptop and would appreciate any help!

Thanks x

Hey fanchon

Have you noticed the same problem if you use wired headphones or external speakers?

    Hello world

I bought a toshiba Satellite L750/L755 but the mouse does not work, I have no control on it that if I use an external mouse, while I have put pressure on the touchpad.
    I tried the following options:
I updated the driver - I changed the operating system

but nothing, still the same problem. Next laptop will be a Mac for sure.

    Hello Daniele

It's really strange that the touchpad does not work even if you have installed the right driver and installed the operating system again. At the first moment, we can say there is probably a hardware problem, but please be sure touchpad is listed in the Device Manager and also active correctly (FN keys).

Check it please all the properties of the mouse.

  • Overclocking GPU on Satellite L750/L755

I have a Satellite L750/L755 with a 525 m GTX and whenever I try to overclock the laptop turns off immediately when starting a game. She even turns off when I bit overclock? Sometimes it turns off without reason playing games too, very rarely well.

Temperatures are slightly more than 68 degrees Celsius during playback, so I don't think it's a problem of temperature. Please help, im worried am I even supposed to be OCing at all?

I agree with Akuma. Overclocking on mobile machines is a very bad idea. The first in doing so you will void the warranty and in case that something will not Toshiba will do nothing for free.

Due to the specific design specifications have cooling system suitable for certain model and certain hardware platform. Overclocking will change this balance between the performance of the graphics card and cooling system, so the risk of damage GPU will be much higher.
    > Sometimes it turns off without reason playing games too, very rarely well.
There must be some reason, probably too high temperature.

When you play games make sure laptop sits on the desk and aeration (cooling rack) is not blocked. They should be free. Use power plan to high performance and remember that the method in advanced power of cooling options is set to maximum performance.

    Be careful with these things.

  • Satellite L750/L755 stops automatically

Hi, have a new Satellite L750/L755
When I start laptop and go to my profile, while its loading desktop screen, it shuts down automatically

When I load in safemode, then it works and stays on. (So not a paste, or heat problem)

It must be something to do with the USB sleep support option? Perhaps,
    Could someone help?

    > It must be something to do with the USB sleep support option? Perhaps,

Why you think the USB sleep and charge option could cause this?

The laptop mode safe start turn the laptop with some drivers active and essential components.

Theoretically, it could be a software problem maybe some drivers that load initially cause a few problems. But it seems odd to me because the preconfigured system should run stable so that a hardware problem may be possible too.

I think you take your recovery disk and should find the computer laptop back to factory settings. If the laptop is not start successfully after this recovery, then take the laptop to Toshiba service to verify the material.

  • Satellite L750 - no sound on the speaker or headphones - static

    Hello

I have problems with the sound in my laptop for a few months. At first I thought that he would go away with updated drivers, which makes certain the alternatives system restore or changing audio device drivers high definition of Win 7, but I can't find a solution to this problem and today is getting worse. Right now, I can't have any kind of noise from the side if headphones or external speakers. Also, my sound disappears after 15-30 seconds of activity through the laptop speakers. I checked the forums and blogs on this issue, but still do not find a good solution for me.

    My model is:

    * Satellite L750-1VW *.
    * Code: PSK1WE-0U500ECE *.

I checked on other systems, headphones and external speakers. So my guess is the Jack is the problem or I don't know. Yesterday, I remember getting a download of update of windows and then, from there my sound started getting static electricity to the right of the speakers and headphones.

    * First problem *: no sound after 15-30 seconds to be active while watching videos (vlc, wma, youtube, etc.)
    * Second problem * (recent): static, crackling noise, the right side of external speakers or headphones

    Any solution to this?

I bought this laptop last year around may or April, can't remember the exact month. Thank you.

    Sorry my bad English.

In my opinion, your options are very limited and all that you have done so far is good. You can check the settings of the software, test it with the factory settings or use the PC diagnostic tool preinstalled.
Have you used this tool? He will check the sound of the waves on both speakers. If this is not the case, do.

Anyway, I don't want to speculate, but somehow I think that there is hardware problem and I think that contact you the nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and ask for help. They use special software for the material testing and can say with certainty what the problem is.
    Warranty is still valid?

  • Cannot install Windows 8 on Satellite L750 - CPU compatibility problem

Why can I not install Windows 8 Preview of consumption on my Toshiba Satellite L750-22 x?
I get an error of processor compatibility.

    Intel i3 M380 2.53 GHz

    Hello

The Internet provides some details on this error message.
It seems that to install Win 8 CP the CPU must support PAE/NX/SSE2 features

Never execute Bit ([NX bit | http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NX_bit]) allows the marking of memory pages as non-executable.
Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (SSE2) is an earlier standard that is supported by Intel and AMD CPU. This is why all processors that support NX would also support SSE2 too.

Usually, this allows the XD (for Intel processors) or NX (for AMD) in the BIOS should disable this error message.
But if it is not available in the BIOS, then either the CPU is not supported this feature or the BIOS does not support this option.

According to the page Intel Ark Intel Core i3 - 380 M supports the Execute Disable Bit feature. So maybe the BIOS does not support this feature
    http://Ark.Intel.com/products/50178/Intel-Core-i3-380M-processor-

It seems that you have to wait for the new BIOS

  • Satellite C850-F211 - sound problems

I bought this laptop 3 months ago and since then, I have sound problems. Today the noise decided to not work and I can't hear a thing. If I put on some headphones or external speakers, I can hear the sound. Can anyone help?

I'm actually regretting ever buy this model and I do not know why I bought this laptop.

    > If I put on some headphones or external speakers, I can hear the sound. Can anyone help?

Looks like a malfunction of the internal speaker for me.

But have you checked the sound settings?
Go to control panel of-> sound-> playback and check the available devices.
The speakers in this tab? And if so, the speakers are marked as default device?

In addition it s worth it to reinstall the audio driver.
I guess its Realtek sound card.

So uninstall the driver audio Realtek (Control Panel-> programs) & features-> Realtek High definition audio driver.
Go to Device Manager and remove the device (Intel audio display) in the region:
    Controller audio, video and game.
Do the same in the area system devices: here to remove the entry: controller high definition audio.

    So finally reboot the device.
After restarting again, windows system should recognize the devices automatically deleted.
Wait that the devices have been installed. Now test the sound.
If you would get not all sounds through the speakers, or via a headset, install the driver Realtek audio.

But if this is not enough, I recommend to contact the service provider to check the speakers

  • Satellite P200D - 11L sound problem - sound gets distorted

    Hello!
I bought a Satellite P200D - 11L a couple of weeks and when I got it sound was perfect.
There was good amount of bass and distortion-free when I turned the volume to 100%. Harman/kardon speakers are cool :) But now the sound is distorted. It started week ago.

When I try to listen to music (in windows media player and winamp, there is no difference) it is very distorted through the laptop speakers, but on my helmet, it is good. Also, same song/songs are normal on my desktop PC.
I don't know what the problem is so please help. I tried to restore windows with Toshiba product recovery disc but same problem is still there. If the speakers are in some way damaged, because on my sound headset is OK? And Yes, I told you on my sound headset is OK, but it is a little bit different than it was when I got the laptop...

When I got laptop sound had more bass, but now when this problem occurred, its also a less serious (bass is almost imperceptible).

    Hi mate,

Since you´ve already tried everything, I would say that your speakerhardware went... so, please click [HERE | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_whitepaper.jsp?service=EU&WHITEPAPER_ID=0 000000871] to find the next and nearest to the ASP in your country, contact them and send your machine for them.

    They should fix this.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite L750 - no sound on the TV connected to the HDMI port

I have a single HDMI cable to a new Samsung TV. The image is fine but there is no sound. Cable HDMI TV is combined audio and video.

I tried Control Panel and its etc but cannot find the HDMI function.

    Hello

You can go to control panel of control-> Sound-> playback and should choose digital output as a default device.

This change should solve this problem

  • Satellite L750 - no sound via the Jack, only through speakers

I searched everywhere on forums but nothing works.

When I plug my headphones in, nothing happens. The sound continues to play music through the speakers.
My laptop doesn't "notice" that I plugged in the headphones. (helmet works on other devices)

I reinstalled the drivers for the sound.

In the SmartAudio program I can't press the button on headset for all parameters
Can I try or if my Jack is broken?

    Help, please

Usually after connecting portable headset should automatically detect and SmartAudio (Volume Mixer) it detects too. In the place where you see the graph of your laptop, it will be shown graphic connected headphones.

There is nothing between the headphones and build-in speakers. It works automatically.
When you connect the headphones there is a little switch that helps for laptop to recognize if the external device is connected. Theoretically, it may be defective.

Since when do you have this little problem with headphones?
What you can do is visit your local retailer or PC shop and get a small adapter Headset USB.
It may be little work around and a temporary solution for you.

  • Satellite Pro L670 - sound problems

Hi I really hope someone might be able to give me some ideas on what to do...

My speaker in the system tray icon comes back with a small red cross and I get audio, when firstly, it started happening I want to restart the system and it would work again but now it doesn't.
I have tried to download the new drivers on the toshiba site, on the realtek site, even tried the new BIOS on toshiba page but still no luck.
Device Manager indicates that it is that everything works, but it does not actually...

I must say that I am really disappointed with this toshiba laptop... I got it since end of January and he has already been in the shop for more than a month with a charging problem and when they sent to me he had no hard drive in it - they had lost! :( Now, the keys are sticking and now plays the sound up!
I think I can go back to a MacBook.

If anyone can offer any other suggestions about her it would be greatly appreciated...
    Thank you
    Rob.

    Hi Rob

Sorry to hear about all of these negative issues, particularly on the HARD drive.

This is really strange. Are you using the original Toshiba recovery image or your own operating system?
When you see this red cross sound card appear correctly in Device Manager?

  • Re: Satellite L750-1LC - sound and CPU issues

    Hello!

I bought this laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 installed a months ago and since then, I have a little problem.
I think that the CPU is overused... the percentaage of use varies from 5% to 50% or more. Today, I downloaded another gadget (metter all CPU) and clock speed with programs such as yahoo messenger, Skype, mozilla (with some tabs), aimp3, utorrent and Toshiba programs open is 792 MHz I have a desktop AMD Athlon II x 4 clocked at 2.6 GHz, 2 GB RAM 1033 Mhz and CPU was never used as this one which is an i5... I don't understand... What's the problem?

    Sound...
After a while, especially on youtube the clip starts but not sound... or if I jump in the video it stops... or I hear weird noises... What happens with reader aimp3 and bs also (but not so often)... I think it's because of the use of the processor

I have problems with Adobe CS 5.5. .slow loading... freezes at certain tasks... worse than on my office tracks...

    Why I have this problem?

THE: Heating can be the cause of my problem with sound?

    Hello

Are you using the original pre-installed OS that you got with your laptop?
You hear sound when Windows stars?
Is there some problem with sound when using music CD or watch original DVD movies?

On this virtual path, it is not easy to understand why you have this problem of sound. It is not easy to understand what can be the reason for this.

  • Satellite L750 - no sound with headphones

I got a L750 recently and when I plug the headphones into the socket, there is no sound through them.

It turns off sound on the speakers so it recognizes I plugged. But no audio signal passes through.

Are headphones OK and working properly?

When you connect the headphones open sound properties > playback and check entries here.
