Satellite L750 - no error at startup boot device

When you try to start my Satellite L750/755, I get an error no. Bootable Device.

Before I try any recovery, is it possible to remove the HARD drive and connect it to my other PC so that I can get all my pictures, music, etc. it. If so, do I need.

I have it on my old desk, and bought a HARD drive with a USB caddy, if disk HARD just looked like an external drive.

Thank you very much

Tim

Yes, you can remove the HARD drive and connect it to your other laptop / PC with USB HDD external enclosure. With the help of this forum you can connect your HARD drive as an external device that must be recognized and listed in the Windows Explorer, so you can have full access to all your stored data.

Back up all your data and put the HARD drive in your laptop.

Usually, if there is not a hardware problem you can start your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu. When the boot menu appears on the screen that you can put the recovery disk of information optical disk drive, choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER. After making this optical drive should start the disc and start to copy the data to the HARD drive.

What you can do before you start using the recovery disc is to enter the BIOS and set it to default settings.

Please try it and send feedback.

Can anyone any sense of the message above?

    Hey Buddy,

This error message means that an incorrect boot order is set and the computer tries to start between LAN port to the internal HARD disk space. It should therefore go into BIOS setup and change the boot order. Put the HARD drive as the first boot device internal.

Take a look at this article from Toshiba:

From two days ago, about 8 or 21:00 my computer freezes whenever I clicked on any icon or attempted to open anything. Not even all that normally appears as yahoo messenger and all my other programs popped up. After this has is spent several times I went to safe mode and thought at first maybe it was something with the memory, or maybe the computer was going slowly I went into cleaning disk and deleted files. Then, I went in my add or remove programs and deleted some things more freeing space. After that happened, I tried again and still no luck. Shortly after, I went back to the security mode and attempted a full McAfee scan for viruses. It took 11-12 hours and there is no virus. Then, I went back into safe mode and tried to do a restore of the system for a few days back. I've tried twice and both times a screen popped up error after about 3 or 4 minutes for system restore. After some research I found this means cessation critical object, so I tried a startup repair, it said 0X000000F4 (0XFFFFFA8006881BA0, 0XFFFFFA8006881DD8, 0 X 0000000000000003, 0XFFFFF800022E3540). I then went to my device because Manager that all the time I did research we're talking maybe a driver is not updated. I discovered that my drivers are all updated, but my IR devices has a triangle attention beside him. • Satellite C660-IHK - 'Reboot & Select good Boot device'

First of all, thanks for any help. I don't know anything about the inner workings of computers, so things, please explain to me how you would do for a baby! Here's the problem: my Satellite C660-IHK is one month. I have not much used, nor had any problem with it. Until last night. I turned it on, the logo appeared as usual, and then it went to a screen that tells me to "Reboot and select proper boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press a key. I have no idea what that means or what I should do now.

On another chance, I pressed 'Set Up', which was located at the bottom of the screen when the logo first appeared. I went to 'Boot '. Here is the info:

    HDD/SSD
    USB
    WEIRD MATHITADVD-RAM UJ8BO
    FLOPPY DRIVE
    LAN Realtex PXE

On this page, I am also told "choose the priority of the computer starts". Again, I don't know what it should be. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

You see this message every time when you start your laptop?

    It's a little strange.
Start your laptop and press F2 to enter the BIOS settings. Use F9 and set it to check and default settings, if the problem persists or not.

If Yes, restart your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu. Check if the HARD drive is listed there. If Yes, select it and press ENTER. Windows starts correctly?

It seems that the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 320GB hard drive you can use a 500 GB hard drive but not a hard drive of 250 GB.

  • Satellite on L9W - B Mini - Inaccessible Boot Device

    Hi all

I installed win10 and decided to do a complete reset that I gave this computer to someone else to use.
After the reset, it does not start properly and fails with an "inaccessible boot device message".

I created a USB boot with a version of win8.1 to install, but no touchscreen or keyboard works, so I can't go ahead with the installation.

someone had this problem? I want to refer to toshiba that I'm tired of this device

    Thank you

Hi, I installed Windows 10 and reset mine causing this problem, it seems Windows 10 upgrade does not work properly.

The drivers for the keyboard and touchscreen are not standard, so are not integrated to the version 8/10 bootable usb. You can get a normal usb hub usb microphone and plug in a usb keyboard/mouse to go or if you have created a recovery drive as Toshiba tell you in the instructions it will actually contain the right key drivers.

To boot from the recovery disc press FN N (F12) as soon as the machine is running and the Toshiba logo shows, and he will give you the option of what to start from.

I have a problem with my USB ports, they where working fine but all of a sudden they start gives me error that unrecognized usb device. I tried to reinstall XP but still the same.

Can someone give my solution to this problem?.

    Hello

You have yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?
I had a similar problem with the USB ports a few years ago. I removed the ports in Device Manager and reboot the laptop. The USB ports will recognize again.
Furthermore, I reinstalled the latest chipset driver and everything worked well.

The latest chipset driver download on the Toshiba site:

  • Satellite L750 - gray screen at startup

    Hi guys,.

I have Toshiba Satellite L750 slightly less than 2 years. He developed intermittent problems, when starting it arrives with white/grey screen and disappear when the login screen is ready. Sometimes touching the upper left part of the disappears from the screen it. Other wise I have to keep restarting. I have checked the cable connections between screen and motherboard, and they seem good.

I have also connected my laptop to an external display while it shows the gray screen and the external display. The screen is not cracked or the other.

    Help, please. Thank you

Googling around you can find a lot of discussion on various forums on similar problems and many different explanations why something like this can happen. On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what may be wrong with your laptop, but it is certainly the unwanted material.

In my opinion you should either continue to use your laptop until it can be possible and later when the issue gets worse search solution or contact the nearest service Toshiba and ask for help.

Guarantee is generally of 2 years (depending on the country) but if you opened it on your own guarantee is canceled now.

  • How can I fix this error? Available boot device. YOUR 0: Installed; YOUR 1: Installed; YOUR 2: None; YOUR 3: no

I can't use my desktop pc, because this message appeared when I started my pc since the closure.  Help, please!   I'm not very computer savey.

The message should look like this:

    No available boot device:

    SATA 0: installed

    SATA 1: installed

    SATA 2: no

    SATA 3: no

This means that there is a problem with your hard drive. If, in addition, the message is not be displayed correctly, there must be something else wrong with your computer. You will need to bring to a repairman.

  • Latitude 6420 after withdrawal of hard drive and put it back: no found at startup boot device

    Hello!

    Dell Latitude 6420

I took out the original disc where I run Window 7 to check a few specifications written on the disc. When I put it back in the machine to turn on and start the machine it says: no boot device found.

Diagnostics of the BIOS is unable to find either disk rhe. When I plug the drive into a usb disk drive in another machine, I can see that all date is there.

Help! What should I do to make the machine recognize the drive again?

    Best regards

    Arnstein Aas

    Hi Arnstein,

If you do not see the drive in the diagnosis, the BIOS is not able to see the drive. So I think that there is a connection problem. I would like to try remove it and put it back.

  • U840-111 satellite shows an error at startup

Basically, I was using my laptop computer and suddenly, he crashed and grew the "blue screen of death" I restarted and let the restore program starting run.

After that he had finished he kept makes this message 'there is a problem because of evil to disconnect a device as an external hard drive. If this message persists, contact your hardware vendor... I tried to reboot several times but nothing helped. I think I might need to restart using a boot disk (which is a problem that the laptop didn't come with an os disc) or even take it to be repaired.

    Any advice.

    Stand by.
According to specification your U840-111 was delivered with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit pre-installed. Original recovery image is saved on the HARD drive and it is strongly recommended, and described in the user s manuals document the laptop owner should create recovery media that can be used if the disk HARD recovery doesn't work.

For notebooks without optical drive, it is clearly described that recovery media bootable USB can be created using preinstalled Toshiba recovery media creator tool. So first question: you created this bootable USB key?
    >... and let the start of the restoration program managed
Do you mean that you have started the HARD recovery disk image installation?
    > I use a USB boot drive.
    Does that mean exactly?
