Satellite L755 - failures of recovery appeared in audit mode

Chess appeared in audit mode in the 4 DVDs + environment (DVD 5) made 2 attempts throughout the DVD s, all DVDs have folders and files stored on it.
no more impressed with a machine which is only 2 weeks, I could take a chance and guess the stuff on the DVD s is 'kosher', but not knowing what's out there ' if 'push comes to shove' probably not a good idea!

Copied output error, but I first thought I pose/position the question and see if anyone out there can give me some advice

Can you please tell us what blank media are you using?
Do you use DVD + R or R media?

  • Satellite L755 - start with recovery CD stops

    Dear all,

I order the recovery CD (Win7 Home Premium 64) and the start of disc 1. After the DOS window, windows starts but then stay with a black window.

Same effect at boot to the hard drive (I have try all the possibilities of repair).

Boot from the restore on another PC CD work.
Remove the hard drive the Satellite L755 and boot from the restore CD works! (of course only up to the recovery tool will access the harddisc :-)).
Try to access the hard disk via Linux bootable DVD works - I made a backup.

    Do someone have any idea?
I do not think that a deletion of the win partition and full installation again solve the problem...

    Manni

The whole story is a bit confusing for me.
If you have tested all combinations to try one last: get another HARD drive, put it in your L755, value default BIOS settings and try to install the recovery image using recovery discs.

  • Re: Satellite L755 - the first recovery disk is damaged

    Hello world...

I just bought this laptop (Toshiba Satellite L755) and I had to get it back by 4... recovery disks, but I discovered the first recovery disc is damaged and I know not just why... I read the manual and disks 4 recovery successfully without any problems, I did... so please tell me what's I'm going to do about it?

The other 3 drives works well, I won't need that first data drive where and how can I get them?

Sorry, but your question is really strange.
All we know is that you want to install the recovery image and this first disc does not.

What type of solution you expect now?

    You can boot OS preinstalled?
    Pre-installed OS Toshiba original one?
Can you maybe create these discs again?

I put t really know what to say on this subject. If you are unable to create new disks, created doesn t work but you want to have original Toshiba recovery image pre-installed on your laptop, I'm afraid, you buy the Toshiba restore disk m.

Another question: can you start HARD drive recovery facility as described on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R01.htm?

  • Satellite L755 - creator Toshiba Recovery disk cannot be used

I L755 series PSK2YE for 40 days, and I have a problem with the part recovery disk creator. According to me, it lacks something I simply don't have the TRDCLcher.exe in the menu. I uninstalled probably by mistake or so.

I still have the recovery disk on D: partition.

Is there a possible way to get this file back then I do drive recovery?

    Kind regards
    Alec

    Hello

This means that you can start t the creator of disc recovery or what happened exactly?

Recovery disc creator can t be reinstalled because it s only preinstalled on your laptop. I think that in this case, your only chance is to leave the drive recovery HARD option and reset Windows to the factory settings. With the box settings, you can use the recovery disk creator.

  • Satellite L755 - 16L - new installation Win7 without recovery option

    Hello...

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L755 - 16L.
I want to re - install windows 7, but recovery option will erase everything... I don t want to use it, I saw a key at the bottom of the laptop for win 7, saying it is oa mea?

So is there a way that I could do without clear all.

    Hello

    Please visit http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R01.htm
You will find all the HARD drive recovery facility information and accurate information which will be deleted exactly (see Note).

Product key down means that you bought laptop with preinstalled OS and valid license. This key belongs to the version of the OS preinstalled. Don t think you can use it for the activation of the operating system if you try to install the version of the OS using the Microsoft installation disc.

    > So is there a way that I could do without clear all.
I put t know what do you mean under everything.
If you want to have own pre-installed OS still best option for you is to back up all important data on external device and after installing the OS, you can copy it to computer s portable HARD drive.

    > Many people say that it is possible using the HDD Recovery folder that I have on my D drive and it s 13.5 GB

A lot of people said you can use HARD drive recovery in order to put the system back to factory settings.
This true s but this is possible ONLY if the system has not been modified.

In case you have changed the system, you could go back to the factory settings using the recovery disk!
Recovery disk may be created using the preinstalled tool called Toshiba Recovery Media Creator.

Have you created this disc in the past!

My problem is that I have a blue screen before I can take my profile on windows 7. The theme of the blue screen, it's that I have a hardware problem or software.

  • Recovery for Satellite L755 - 17Q

First of all, I want to say that I am completely useless with computers.

I have used the product recovery CD, followed all the steps, it took like 30 minutes. And then he did. After that it's over, he had a number of problems that have emerged:

    Windows is not genuine?
Card network finds no internets? Need to install a driver?
Screen resolution does not have the correct option.
It is a strange version of windows 7, the bits where windows is rights are all color and are not translucent. - But I don't know if this has to do with 32-bit and 64-bit, whatever they may be.
^ I realized that I now have 32 bit downloaded on this computer, when it is actually a 64-bit.

I posted on the forums US and realize that I used the wrong CD, the CD I used was a cover for a X L500-19.

Not sure if I use the right disk, as I have 2 laptops from toshiba.
On the disc, it says GMR410014EN0
Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit
    CD9D125073
Support for these products provided by Toshiba Europe GmbH

A little more information... I don't know if I created this "recovery means" just noticed the 2nd time, that have an effect on the result?

    > Just a little more information... I don't know if I created this "means of recovery.
What to say after reading this?
So let's ' s be clear now: according to the specifications of the laptop your Satellite L755 - 17Q shipped with preinstalled WIN7 64-BIT HOME PREMIUM and without recovery disk. Recovery disk must be created by the owner of the laptop. If you n t have it and you want to install the original image of recovery for L755 - 17Q you must order on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

If you have laptop model why discuss this topic on the American forum? European models don t have nothing to do with the American models, the U.S. or American support.

What do you do now? Be clear with your answer and we'll try to help.

  • Satellite Pro M30: Failure using Recovery CD - machine wrong

I tried to recover my M30 Pro of the Satellite with a product recovery CD, which came with the laptop, but it gives out it's a bad machine and the software is designed for Toshiba PCs, even if I used it successfully once before.

    Hello

Normally, something like that can't happen. This error occurs if the string DMI and the label on the image n t game. Is that what you did your laptop for repair?

  • Virus has damaged Satellite L755 - 17Q - now cannot load

    Satellite L755 - 17Q

I accidentally downloaded a virus, that virus I think and then turned off my computer and now once I try to load it, the Toshiba screen appears, but then the screen goes black with just a small bar flashes in the upper left corner. I gave this administrator rights program because I thought it was safe. Now I can't use my laptop, what should I do?

    Any help is appreciated.

    PS I'm rubbish with computers.

It depends on you. You have some important data stored on the HARD drive?
If this isn't the case, I recommend you to reinstall the OS using Toshiba recovery disc.
By default the BIOS settings and reinstall the OS.

After that what you do will have own OS preinstalled and no anyomore disorders.

  • Satellite L755-16J - problem with sound card

I currently own a Toshiba * Satellite L755-16J * and is having some kind of trouble with the sound card, I think.

When I bought it, it came with windows 7, I changed the Windows of windows 8 and since then the audio has been trouble me.

The internal speakers work for a minute or two, when I play an audio file, but then stop working.
I had been using a usb external sound card and external speakers for some time but decided to the switchback to windows 7 for the sound working again. even if I went to win 7, the sound still doesn't work.

I am sure that the problem is not in the internal speakers because they do not work, even if it's just for a brief moment, but they work, so I think the problem is in the software instead of hardware.

I tried to update the audio drivers but they seem to be updated as windows, pilots 'seem to work properly.

    Can anyone help?

    > even if I spent back for win 7, the sound still doesn't work.

    How did you do that?
Have you used the Toshiba Recovery disk in order to install Win 7 or have you installed Windows 7 using the Windows 7 clean and fresh hot?

The laptop supports the Conexant audio chip. The audio driver is available on the page of the Toshiba UE driver and where the sound chip is already recognized in Device Manager after installing the audio driver, I assume that the driver has been installed correctly.

In this case I recommend you plug in a headset.
In case the headset should work fine, the speakers could be affected. I mean the material. But of course it s just an idea.

Next to the audit of the helmet, you can also check the settings in the Panel of-> sound-> the Read tab.
Usually, the speakers should be set as default device.
    Check this option too.

  • Satellite L755 - card wireless driver is corrupt

My Satellite L755 was fine yesterday, but this afternoon it started with this disturbing of the yellow dots on the wireless signal meter in the status bar. I ran to the resolution of problems, followed her, and that is to say that the wireless or LAN driver is corrupted. I checked, it is an Atheros chipset, so I got a mate to download the latest driver on the site of Tosh.

I transferred via an sd card, and it's an Assistant auto running. He ran, the pilot has changed (I checked the dates), but the laptop has exactly the same problem. I know it's windows, as on the start screen, where the windows password box appears, there is a WLAN box and who is showing the complete connection.

What should I do now? The final move would be to transfer all data on an external drive and go to the total reload of windows on the recovery partition, but it would be a radical gesture.

Anyone has a suggestion for a less stressful recovery?

Wireless network adapter installed and listed correctly in the Device Manager?
Try please restart your router and check the connectivity again?
Is visible WLAN for your laptop after reboot of the router?

Try please test with some other WLAN or your WLAN WLAN functionality but without WLAN security.

  • My Satellite L755 HDMI - output 16 M has stopped working

    Hello!

I have been for long the my Satellite L755 HDMI connection to a TV, but a few days ago it stopped working. The laptop detects the TV and identifies it as Samsung, but there is no signal on the TV screen.

Outputs HDMI to the TV and cable are ok because I can run other devices. Tried to activate HDMI thanks to push "FN" + "F5" key (I choose the TV screen), changed the resolution, updated Nvidia drivers, nothing works. My OS is Win7 64.

I know that the only signal is seen on TV, the screen is when I restart the computer; the I can see on the image on the screen of the TV for a few seconds (while "starting windows" is displayed) and not good image, with lots of red vertical lines on the screen. After a few seconds, no signal again on the TV screen

Can anyone help? Maybe it's a hardware failure?
The laptop is no longer under warranty.

    Thank you.

    Hello

It is not easy to say what may be wrong with that. I think that it will help much, but have you tested the feature with different HDMI ports on the TV?
Have you tried to roll back the OS (System Restore) to an earlier time when everything was OK?

On this virtual path, that it is not possible to provide the diagnostic but ultimate test right, you can do if you reinstall OS using original recovery image and test in functionality with the factory settings.

What do you think of all this?
