Satellite L850-A696 (loss of pilot + no wireless connection)

Hi you
I have a laptop model Satellite L850-A696 serial No. 3C264274R Windows 7

I remove the driver programs by mistake after that I noticed that the wireless icon disappear
Now I use the cable to connect to the internet.
How can I fix this and restore my wireless connection?

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello

I think that the best way to get the WLan back is to use the option which would fix the system returns to the point of time at the beginning, to the point until you have deleted or uninstalled the driver WLan.

If this is not the option for you, I recommend reinstalling the drivers.
Google is your friend ;)

He said that Satellite L850-A696 belongs to the PSKDLV series

On the website http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp? You can find all the drivers for this device!

:) easy, isn t it?

  • Re: Satellite S70T-A-016 - no option for wireless connection

    Greetings,

Just picked up one new Satellite S70T-A-016. Everything worked very well last night and I had a wireless connectivity, but now, I have no option for a wireless connection. I pressed the button F 12, and the only message I get is ' airplane Mode on / off. I don't know if I pushed inadvertently something I shouldn't or not. Have connected by cable to Toshiba and updated the atheron wireless LAN and realtek drivers but still nothing. Troubleshooting only tells me to plug an Ethernet cable.

Starting at this, so any help step by step would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Usually, if you turn off the airplane mode WIFI should work.
Check please follow option: move the mouse to the lower right corner and when you see options on the right, click settings. You will see the option for the WLAN. Click it and you will see the options networks. Make sure that airplane mode is DISABLED and Wi - Fi mode.

You don't need to reinstall drivers. Laptop is preinstalled with all the necessary things and the reason for not working WLAN are bad options I think.

Please check it out and provide feedback.

  • Satellite L505-13F - impossible to activate the wireless connection

Hello, I have connectivity problems with my Satellite L505-13F.

I can't turn on the wireless connection. I press Fn + F8 and nothing happens. The indicator at the bottom of the laptom turns on.

I though this would be a problem with the drivers. I downloaded realtek wlan driver here [http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads], but it has not installed correctly. Then I used the toshiba software installer, but yet again, nothing has changed. I have Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

Device management, I have seen that I installed a wifi driver. (Realtek RTL8191SE Wirelless Lan...) So, what the problem is?

    Any suggestions?

    Hey,.

Something happens if you press other keys FN or FN + F8 doesn't work only? Normally with this key combination you can enable/disable wireless network card.

In addition, it would be interesting to know what happens if you are looking for WLAN networks. You see your WLAN router?

If all the keys FN n t work, reinstall the package of added value and utility to Support Flash Cards. Otherwise, it could be another problem and you should reinstall the driver again and make sure the firewall isn't blocking the connection.

    See you soon

    Thank you
    Them

    Hello!

What do you mean with it s not to pick up any wireless connection?
    Can you wireless networks?

Why wouldn't be a missing material? If your laptop is equipped with a WiFi card (I'm almost sure that this is the case) and you don t have exclamation points yellow in Device Manager that s is not a hardware problem.

Don t forget WIFI must be enabled with the hardware switch on the computer laptop and FN + F8.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L10: I want to install a wireless connection - how?

I have a satellite L10... and I want to install a wireless connection on the help on the config free pages it is said that the alternative "quick connect" appears after the installation of the projector toshiba wireless... it is what? and is anyone knows how I can do this without getting more confused?

    Hello

    It's Toshiba projector Wireless:
    http://www.ProjectorCentral.com/Wi-fi_toshiba_tlp-T501.htm
As you can see it's not a fast connection wireless card or something like that.

First of all, it would be very interesting to know the name of your unit, because I know if your laptop has a wireless card or if it of possible to update the device with the Mini-PCI Wireless card.

If your laptop has a wireless card so you need activate the wireless antenna. The switch on the side of the unit, you should find. In addition, choose the wifi with the FN + F8 key combination.
Well, now you have an AccesPoint in your neighborhood. If there isn't one available then you should see it. Go to network connections. Here, you must select the list of wireless network in network and refresh.

But if you have a wireless card so you need to upgrade your laptop with the minPCI card, or the wireless USB stick or a PCMCIA wireless card

  • Satellite P300 - 20 H cannot find a wireless connection

    Hello

Can someone help me? My Satellite P300 - 20H can not find the wireless router.
He works very well before both at home and work, nothing has changed, but the laptop now cannot find a connection.

Everything works fine when I connect the ethernet cable, but as soon as I unplug NOTHING.
The router is in the same location as always, and no electric element in surplus is around.

I guess it must be something to do with the laptop because it is the same at home because it's a job, WITHOUT JOY.

    Thank you

    Richy.

    Ohhm man.
There are many discussions on the problems of WiFi and I hope you read some comments here that provide some tips.
    Did you?

Firstly it should check if the WiFi is enabled correctly.
Activate WLan switch (LED should be lit) and use the FN + F8 to activate the WLan.
In addition, the WLan configuration should be checked! (SSID, encryption type, password encryption, etc.)

Last but not least make sure your WLan driver is up-to-date.

  • Satellite L850-18 t has problems to connect to new wireless router

    Hello

I have a serious question that, at the present time, he cannot know. Basically 2 days ago I bought a new router because the other more old has stopped working. And I bought Tenda router. Since that day I have problems connecting with my Toshiba Satellite L850-18 t - I have never had similar problems before.

I put the security of the router for wpa - psk with aes encriptación mode option. The laptop connected and worked fine, but the next day, he has not suddenly connect more. So I went to check the option, everything was allright. Troubleshooting gave me the following error: "problem with wireless adapter or access point. I tried to reboot wlan driver, but nothing happened. The only thing that seems to help is to change the security WPA2-PSK mode (or vice versa), restart my laptop and it connects then.

Anyone have some clue what happens? It must be something with my laptop settings, because all other devices (another computer toshiba laptop but older, a PC and android devices) work perfectly.

    Among the specifics on laptop:
-Computer laptop Toshiba Satellite L850-18 t
    -Network cards:
    -AR9485WB-EG atheros wireless network adapter
    -Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
    -Router: Tenda

    Thank you!

What I see is that we have same wireless Chipset, Tenda use Ralink or Broadcom chipsets, which are compatible with our wifi cards, then I would tell you my opinion do 1st updated drivers on your laptop, I use the latest x 64 win10, atheros version drivers 10.0.0.326, then go and upgrade your routers firmware! I don't know it will solve your problem, by the way check firmware of the laptop is the last 6,80 I think!

  • Satellite L850-11 q - pilot missing for PCI Intel Panther Point PCH host

    Hello

    I bought a Satellite L850-11 q earlier this month.

Having a Windows 7 Prof 64 bit service pack 1 - license (and Win7 Home comes pre-installed), I formatted everything (including the recovery partition, because I tend to make my own backups).

Of course, I downloaded all the 64-bit drivers available beforehand, but after installing all that I found this driver is still missing!

I searched on the 'sister' - portable L855 page for compatible drivers, but could find none (reason: * not all pilots are on the L850-site *, for example of stack Bluetooth driver - I got 3 unknown devices after installing all the drivers-L850, both of them could be found on the site L855).

My problem is that there is always an unknown device in the windows Device Manager.
Aida64 (a system of monitoring/information, etc. - program) has identified the device to be the

    "* PCI Intel Panther Point PCH - Host Embedded Controller Interface 1 (HECI1) [C - 1]."

    * Updated Windows *-by right clicking and selecting the automatic driver search * can't find anything *, either.

In addition, Intel has not all drivers as of yet for this chipset (I think maybe it's the 'chipset of the 7 series', and which is not listed, yet).

I looked for the files here:
    http://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/default.aspx?lang=eng & changeLang = true

Get any help in getting my hand on the .inf driver/necessary files is appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance for your time and efford!

    Hello

Panther Point initially was a name for the Intel express chipsets (QM77, HM77, HM76 and others)

AFAIK the L850-11 q was equipped with an Intel HM76 express chipset.
Recommend to install the Intel chipset driver for this chipset.

    Try this one:
    [V9.3.0.1020 Intel Chip Set Utility for Windows 7-64 bit: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 178 & selProduct = 7501 selSh ortMod = null & language = 13 & selOS = all & selType = all & year = upload & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = allMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = a he's & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = all & page = 2 & ID = 82019 & OS ID = 30 & driverLanguage = 42]

  • Satellite L850 - indicator wireless is not off

    Hello

    I have the Satellite L850
    Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit (pre-installed, Toshiba-HDD recovery)

When I switch the lan wireless off (using f12)

the indicator doesn't turn off wireless!

I have not found "the indicator wireless settings" on my system!

    any help please

    Thanks in advance

Some models are delivered with Win8. Can you please send the exact model number? I just want to check the specification.

Anyway, if you have Win7 when you press F12 can you see at the top of the screen flash cards?
When you press FN + F12 you see option ON / OFF for the WLAN?

Somehow, this question is strange to me. When you use the laptop with the settings, it should work properly.

    Hey,.

I have a Toshiba Satellite c660 (2.5 years now, I think) and I have problems with my wireless connection (for 3 weeks now).
Never had any problems with my connection before.

When I use my laptop + - every hour my laptop disconnects Internet and immediately connects again.
My computer is often used for playing games online and after 3 weeks, it's starting to annoy me, because I need to restart the whole game etc...

Now, I have already updated all my WLAN drivers, I have the latest version of the BIOS update, and I adapted my energy profile settings to make sure that my computer is not turning off my wireless connection.

I really think that the problem is on my computer because I have the same problem on 2 different networks.
Don't know what to do, I hope someone can help me.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L850 PSKDLA-0D100R. My problem is what is stated in the subject. I tried to reinstall windows, that did not work, I tried everything I found concerning this problem on google and none of this helped then please help me! • Satellite L850 - wireless drivers needed

    Hello
Yesterday I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L850! Quickly wanted to get rid of Windows 8 and put Windows 7 on it and it started my troubles!

In order to let me format the laptop for Windows 7 I had to delete all partitions, including the recovery one! So I have to install all the drivers manually, especially those who are not downloaded via Windows Update.

Right Now I'm stuck in one) an 'unknown device', which I have no idea what this could be.
    (b) network controller: I can't get the laptop to connect to my WiFi, there is no such procedure (Ethernet only).

How can I see the exact type and the correct driver I need?
And are there additional drivers that I need to get that used Windows Update provide me?

I'm new to Toshiba equipment so please tell me what I should know about! :)

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

I guess that the WLan driver is not installed and therefore you cannot use the WiFi connection.
The network controller seems to be the WLan card. If you need a good driver Wlan.

This document should help you identify the right driver:

  • Satellite L850 - why pilots 7670 m not materialized?

I've just updated the latest drivers from Toshiba for my laptop (Satellite L850-138). Properties says that this version is 9.12.0.0, but a newer version of AMD's 12.104.0.0.

Unfortunately computers laptop Toshiba can only update for drivers from the Toshiba site. When do we get the latest drivers?

Due to the limited and specific design of cooling possibilities drivers offers Toshiba which mets t force GPU to run the maximum level and protect laptop damage or overheating.
Which is the reason why you can and should use Toshiba drivers only.

When some new drivers are available, no one can say for sure. Is that of many models of computers laptops don t newer and newer GPUS use drivers.

  • Loss of wireless connection on Satellite Pro L10

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L10, with wireless capabilities built-in. I recently bought an ADSL Modem Belkin Wireless G Router. My desktop PC can connect to the internet via cable and cannot therefore have my laptop. However, when I connect to the internet via wireless connection my laptop sometimes everything stops. This isn't something to signal that I'm only about 2 feet from the router, and it is not that I can't connect to the internet, as I am on this at the moment. Is that in a few minutes, the connection will be lost and I can't seem to find what I can do about it.

The other problem is that when I click the icon at the bottom right of the screen, the "Wireless network connection" window opens. Here, it shows the wireless network I'm trying to connect and it shows with a strong signal, but it is almost always said not 'connected '. He said never 'connected', even when I am connected to the net and surf away!

Anyone has any ideas at all?

It sounds a little to the Wireless LAN card is unable to obtain a valid IP address.
These interruptions may occur for different reasons.
But especially the new version of the driver Wlan and/or Bios should help resolve these interruptions.

What card Wlan do you use?
If you are using the Intel Wlan card you can also visit the Intel Web site to download the most recent version of the WLan driver.
Please also compare the BIOS version available on the Tosh site with the version preinstalled on your laptop.

Wlan card properties contain some useful options that could improve the quality of the connection. Energy saving options should also be required to check other functions in the tab advanced and disabled.
