Netflix works fine in ie8 (such as the internet, of course). Tried to delete all the Internet Options, delete browsing history section of Internet Explorer. I recently installed quicktime alternative 2.72 to see what it was and how it worked, then removed and put back in quicktime.

  -Disconnect from netflix, you reconnect again - ultimately the same error (chicagokiwi)

  Someone else knows Netflix not being is not able to connect?  It started yesterday (30/12/2009) for me.  I looked fine the day before without problem.  The message I get says "there was a problem of data recovery.  Check the works of your internet connection and try again. Ok.  I make it work with both my VMC - one with the service pack and the other without.  My OS updates have been loaded in early December, so I don't see how this could it be.  I searched and found this problem has come up before, but I have not found a solution.  I made NO changes to my HTPC.

  Those who have and solved this problem.

  2009-01-05 has attempted to start Netflix this morning and you know, it works on both my VMCs.  That's the good news.  So now the real questions are:

  Only 20 people reported it as a problem and only 6 on the green button.  I believe that it affected all the world with Media Center.  So why not discussed much?

  It already happened, causes a stir and silently slips without known cause or cure.  How can we find out what caused this and how to prevent it from happening again in the future?

  Sorry for the delay, but I've been busy (in my free time) trying to get this to work.

  I gave up trying to resuscitate MCE and installed a brand new Windows Vista Ultimate Edition with Service Pack 2.  After apply all WIndows patches and installation of Silverlight, I have the "Netflix" element in MCE.  He invites me to install, what I'm doing.  However, every time I start MCE and go to Netflix, he tells me to do reinstall - no login screen.

  I tried all the "mcupdate" article and then supported your steps above, but no go.

  I did this twice, so it wasn't just a fluke.  Apparently, the part of Netflix to MCE is not detect the plug-in that it installed.

  Any thoughts on what to do then?

  Later: same problem on my other computer running MCE and Vista.  I don't want to mess up this computer so I left as what.

  What I see is that we have same wireless Chipset, Tenda use Ralink or Broadcom chipsets, which are compatible with our wifi cards, then I would tell you my opinion do 1st updated drivers on your laptop, I use the latest x 64 win10, atheros version drivers 10.0.0.326, then go and upgrade your routers firmware! I don't know it will solve your problem, by the way check firmware of the laptop is the last 6,80 I think!

  I bought it almost two years ago and at the beginning I had some problems of fan.

  After I started there was a message telling me that the cooling system had been damaged and that I should contact Toshiba support so that it can be fixed.

  After I pressed Ok on this message my fan would go close to 100%, which was a pretty annoying sound but the machine was always cool and never had any performance issues.

  There are tho, the message is stopped and now im stuck with the fan works once every 5 minutes that is bad cause I use this laptop mainly for games and im get FPS quite low, even when the games are set on high performance and low "eye-candy".

  Is it possible that I can bring this message back, or even manually the fan start and stop when I need it?

• Replace drive HARD w / expansion, made HP Recovery, but only a third of the new HARD drive got in the format

  Last week, I got a (installed at the factory of 1.5 TB) HARD disk failure on my HPE Pavilion. I bought a new 3 TB drive, installed, did a back HP recovery to factory settings (Win 7 using disks that I had made when the system was again 4.5 years ago) and returns to a good operating system. While everything seems OK, when I check computer it tells me there are 2 partitions on the new disk, C: being 734GB and being 11.5 GB D:.

  What should I do to format this drive to give me 2/3 of the space that I'm missing?

  The PC is a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-180 t, product #BN515AV #ABA under Win 7 Pro 64. 1.5 TB SATA HDD that failed was the drive installed original HP, where the recovery DVDs were made in 2010.

  The new drive is a Seagate STBD3000100 3TO SATA HARD drive which records only to the 801 GB format recovery.

  ... Final note: went down to BestBuy (again) and bought and installed a WD 2 TB (model WDBH2D00020HNC-NSPS) drive. That formatted at full capacity with HP Restore, and am now reinstalling all bloody software that a computer builds up more than 4.5 years.

  After an internet search I came across a solution to "convert my logical C partition shrink space out of it, then make a new partition on free space" I did exactly the same thing...

  now I have 3 primary partitions system tools, recovery and hp, but when I try to make another partition on unallocated using mini tools space home edition it always gives the same error that "no slot mbr is available.

  Some laptops have two discs inside, as the loan product HP Envy17-3002ea that I currently use. Most laptops have a single drive. I will change this soon and post the console mamagemnt disc of the loaner with two hard drives so you can see what it looks like. Disks 0 and 1 are physical HDD of 750 GB unformatted capacity. I could actually create three more primary partitions in disk 1.

  Your has four primary partitions anfd that corresponds to the maximum number of primary partitions can cause a hard drive in Windows. That's why you have seen the error message "no available slot MBR.

  You can make the logical partitions inside the primary partitions. It is not the best idea to create more partitions, unless you don't mind losing the ability to use the Recovery Manager in Windows.

  The Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and applications provided with your laptop. It also allows you to return your laptop to the State, in which it was delivered.

  The USB thumbdrive or defined recovery disk that you created when you set up your laptop is in an emergency or for when you decide that the current configuration of the operating system of your laptop has too many questions.

  I hope I could explain it in terms that were easy to understand. You can find more information on the subject, if you do a Google search with the master boot record, partition hard drive MBR and/or under the search terms.

  If you formatted your drive and then installed Windows Vista, the drive was wiped out and there is not a way to recover data under Windows.
