  I understand that you are having problems when your monitor guard shift to the right, and you have tried to do a factory reset on it and it continues to happen. There is not a lot of troubleshooting you can do with a monitor. I provided you with the steps to do a hard reset on the screen below:

  Step 1. Unplug the power cord from the wall and the monitor

  Hi all.

  I had a problem with this laptop for the last four weeks.

  One day worked, it normally stops and the next day when I power the screen was dead.

  The fan stands up and lights, caps and numlock function, but not picture.

  There are also 3 days ago, I noticed that if the screen is tilted I can actually see the Toshiba logo at boot and then a few icons on windows 8.

  For what I found online that this laptop doesn't have a UPS because she is LED which requires current DC which is quite a new thing on laptops, I think.

  One thing which I use to to check if there was any kind of output image has been to connect the laptop to the tv, but for some reason, that no picture is via vga or hdmi port.

  That being said I'm reluctant about the fault being the monitor. One thing I'm positive, I can certainly see very dark and with the monitor image tilted slightly.

  Someone had a same or similar problem?

  I ve never been faced with this problem on my Toshi and cannot say for sure what the problem is here, but my opinion is that you should contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.

  Bought a reconditioned model Toshiba L850-1EK of PC World in Novemember - its been great! so much better than my old netbook! Lighter too!

  However, due to a media blank Superhub that keeps falling speed wifi, I remembered something that worked on my old laptop - uninstall the wifi adapter in the Device Manager and have windows "find" and reinstall/update driver. This, you will agree, was a mistake.

  Annoyingly, the driver was not installed correctly (the popup box said this) and each time I try another driver even if Toshiba, Atheros or Google, none will work correctly - if she is completely installed, there is still no wifi (impossible to find networks - as if the wifi is turned off).

  Also tried activating / disabling the wifi enabled, deactivation / activation of the adapter directly, connect the network cable to find other versions of the driver (as above), even the system restore did not work as he could not find a file, then it did not restore.

  Is there a driver especially L850 ships with? At my wit's end! The driver gets up in what concerns the Atheros AR9485WB-EG
