Satellite M30: I can't lock in my wirelesss network

Hello people,
I have a Satellite M30 and since yesterday I can not lock in my wirelesss network. Every now and then I see the network, but I can't establish a connection. Additional, the sound and the mouse pad is stuttering when the wireless is enabled, both is fine when wireless is spent.
I got the system, but the problem is still there.

Any help for me out there?

Stephan

Hello

A secure wireless network?
If so, it is possible to s as you type a wrong security password.
Believe me it's not easy to say what goes wrong.
Sometimes, the update of the wireless driver to solve a problem.
Please see the Toshiba or Intel page to update the wireless driver.

  • Death by Satellite M30 - what can do?

The other day, my Satellite M30, I bought in September 2004, turns off suddenly for no apparent reason. Since then, when I try to turn it on, the power LED button lights up for a split second then turn off, and the power led (one on the left) on the front starts flashing yellow.

I tried to remove and it run without battery or adapter right battery replacement, but he refuses to start. It is unlikely that anything it either inside could have fried, I use a surge protector. I fear the worst - that I have to get my data off the drive and throw the laptop in the tray - but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I can't believe computers these days this last a year...

    Hello

Well, if the DC IN yellow led is flashing, this means that there is a power supply error.
In this case, it s that the adapter has a power outage, or there is something wrong with the electronic power supply.
You should contact the ASP, because I don t think you're able to resolve this problem yourself.

    Hi mate!

Can you notice any other problems with the laptop or simply with the network connection? Furthermore, you hear a LAN or WLAN connection?

What OS are you using and what 3rd party programs have installed you?

In your case, I'll try to update the drivers and maybe a laptop recovery facility. You should try it with factory settings (preinstalled OS from Toshiba).

  • Satellite L30 - 11G can not pick up my WLan network

    Hi all

    I have a Toshiba * Satellite L30-11 G * and I use the model of router D-links * (DIR301) * to set up a wireless network.
The laptop picked up the network before I formatted the computer after that that he has been infected with a virus and became very slow.

After formatting and reinstalling windows, the laptop can not meet my network.
I changed the security settings on the router and set it to WEP (which is the very basic setting) for the network. I reinstalled windows (with all updates) for a second time to eliminate and windows problems could be created to activate the network card pick up the network.

Although the laptop captures the networks of the district with the same security as my router settings it just will not collect my network.

Can someone help me with this one please? Thank you.

If I understand correctly, you can connect to the laptop for the neighbours wireless LAN wireless, but you can't connect the laptop to your WLan router.
    Is this good?

As far as I know, this laptop was equipped with the Atheros 802.11 B/G WLan card.
In case I would recommend you check if the wireless network adapter and the router use the same Wlan standard.
In addition, you can try to disable all the security settings on the router.
I mean disable encryption, SSID hidden settings, MAC address filtering, firewall, etc.

Try again to establish the WiFi connection. If you're going to succeed then you may reactivate the router settings

  • Satellite M30-107 - guard wireless disconnect and never connects

My Toshiba Satellite M30-107 with Intel (r) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network connection is not connect wirelessly. I know that there is no hardware problem, because I used this laptop to different wireless networks in the past, and just recently I formatted my laptop using the recovery disk Toshiba gave with it.

I set up the wireless entering the SSID and network key. But the wireless connects with the Excellent signal is only for a second and then disconnects, then reconnects, disconnects. After doing this for a while, it remains offline.

How can I do to connect and stay connected as it should?

It is not easy to say why all this happens. I also think that your laptop works well, then maybe you should check the router. Reboot the router and check the WLAN connection again.

For a moment turn off WLAN protection and check if the same problem happens without entering the network key.
Setting router to run on 802. 11 b / g only and check again.

Play with these settings. Have you bought a new router? I mean if everything was OK in the past I m wondering why you are facing this problem now.

  • Can not turn on the Satellite M30

    Hello everyone...

I have a Satellite M30 laptop for time enough and I'm having a problem with it. When I try to turn it on, it makes a kind of scratch noise and then nothing happens. The hard drive lit wrath but the computer does no sound and no picture on the screen. I tried to turn it on with and without the battery and the same thing happens.

A few days before this happened that I could see the windows startup screen, after that the computer crashed, even when I went to the BIOS Setup screen, the computer also crashed, so the problem was not on the hard disk. A few days later, when I tried to turn it back on, it makes a single probe and nothing else happened. Can it be a motherboard problem? can I try before sending it for repair

    I'm scared of m it s a serious problem.
Depending on the symptoms that you described the laptop cannot get the message and so I think there may be an error on the motherboard.
I don t think you will be able to locate the fault. It is simply not possible for the common user like you and me

If you have no choice as to the request of the service provider for Toshiba for help.

ATI Radeon 9600/9700 mobility driver for Satellite M30

    Hello

It s your lucky day my friend.
Check out this site and download the drivers you need:

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
    http://www.OmegaDrivers.NET/

The drivers are native drivers for Nvidia/ATI, but the file *.inf (files containing the settings for maps and information material) have been adjusted for mobile systems. This means that you can install on your machine, and by the way, you will get the most current drivers.

    Welcome them

  • Can not find the drivers for Satellite M30 842

    Hello

I'm a repair technician, and I'm repairing a European model Satellite with Windows corrupted; I reformatted and I install Windows with my generic Windows XP Home CD. I have had no luck finding the drivers for (as listed in the Device Manager):

-Network controller (wireless, wired ethernet works)
    -Controller Audio multimedia
    -Modem PCI
    -Unknown device

Windows Update has been able to find the video and the USB drivers, but I can't find information on this model on the Toshiba support sites.

    Thanks in advance,

  • How can I check sound version and watch on Satellite M30 power?

I have a Toshiba Satellite M30 series and have lost my audio. I don't know if I checked something l ' turn off or what. Can someone give me some ideas on how to check it? The other is stupid - how do I know what saving use?

Right now my setting is on Power Saver 2 and I'm having problems, that I found an answer to this, of overheating, but it was suggested to check the energy saving, how do you know that one to use?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hello

It's very simple. You should visit the Toshiba driver page and you will find the correct drivers and utilities also energy saver.
After the installation of the power saver you use defined parameters. The cooling method, you can define if you want to cool the most powerful CPU for maximum performance.

    Now on your noise problem:
Well, first go to Device Manager and check the status of the sound card.
If there is everything is fine and there is no exclamation point yellow if all the drivers are installed and working properly.
In this case I recommend to enter the control panel and select the Audio & Sound devices. There you can check if the 'secret' was not enabled and if other controllers are defined at the higher value.

  • Satellite M30-604: USB Port can not find the driver

    Hello

I keep having the same problem on my Satellite M30 604 when connecting to a USB device.
It does not really matter with this kind of device, the problem still.

Whenever I have insert the USB plug into one of the slots, my home XP keeps popping up the wizzard software.
Even with devices without drivers such as USB keys, it keeps bothering me and finally tells me that it cannot find the right driver.

If I try to install a printer, it installs the software found, but finally stops the operation because it can't find the driver (?). I don't know in what direction I should look at to solve this.

So if anyone can help me on this, I would be very grateful!
    Edwin

    Hello, Edwin

It's very strange because it is not necessary to install a USB driver and standard Microsoft USB driver should work well. I put t know if this can help, but please check this page

This fix is also part of the factory settings (recovery image on the delivered CD). By the way: your device is about three years old and it will be interesting to know since when you have this problem. Just for example: I have more Satellite 1900 with USB 1.0 and use USB keys and drive external HARD without any problem.

  • Satellite M30-861: why I can't write on a DVD?

Hi, I bought Satellite M30 861 about 15 months and so far have only tried to burn a CD - no problem. Now I want to try and burn it to a DVD, but it doesn't seem to be recognized (I tried to drag-and - drop and also NERO). I see on the unit it says DVD-R/RW and my Web of Toshiba on-site warranty information, I should be able to burn DVDs (it was a question I asked when buying!). Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you!
    Marving

    Hi Marvin,.

According to the specifications of your laptop, you should be able to burn a DVD-R/RW only. Are you sure that you are using the appropriate holder (r/RW and not + r/rw).

Also if you use RW media, then they must be formatted before that you can burn on them. (you can use Nero INCD for this).

    Kind regards
