Satellite M300 - display driver has stopped and recovered continues to appear

Hello

I'm new to this forum took me half an hour to figure out how to do this post.
If anyone knows a solution please help

Hello

If I understand your ad very short: you got a message that the display driver has stopped or has crashed and recovered again.
Right?

Maybe a new display driver installation would help sort this problem. ?
I recommend you to uninstall the previous driver.
Clean the system using CCLeaner (or other 3rd party tool)
Restart the unit, download, and finally install the latest version of the display driver for your model of laptop. Restart the unit.

    Hello!
I have a portable Satellite A500-1EE causing me trouble lately. Several times a day, the screen goes black and after a few seconds, it retrieves, with the message:
"Display driver has stopped and recovered. Display NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 257.21 driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Please give me advice on how to solve the problem.

    Thank you
    Roxana

From time to time it happens on my P500 too but especially if I look at a Web page with flash player but after driver recover everything is OK again.
To be honest, I don't see it as a major problem.

Is there a particular situation when it occurs on your A500?

  • Display driver has stopped and recovered

Hi, since a few days I get freezes and blackout and display driver has stopped running and was recovered. It happens when I am on youtube and continues to make, so I just turn off my computer. I had this happen before on my old computer, but that computer is brand new. I've had this for a few months and I have windows 7 64-bit XP.  MSI G41M-P28

I searched for solutions to the problem and it is said it can be many things: RAM is overheating (but my computer doesn't seem to be hot.) Overclocked? I don't know, or need to update and download new updates for pilots. I had my computer checked and it showed 67% of drivers are ok, and 33 percent are not. But I want a free service and that you must have a subscription and there are fees.
I'm so confused.  :(  I can't assign to computer and it is very difficult for me to understand. I have files that I don't understand what they're doing, and I need to have surprised location for the files to another drive / location I don't know.
Please can someone help me and explain the problem and what I can do about it. And please if it can be a very simple and easy way that I can understand step by step :)
    Thanks :)

    Hello

  • display driver has stopped working and recovered

In my laptop, I get a message from the display driver has stopped working and my screen goes black and crash suddenly

    Details of my laptop are
    Compaq 620
    Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
Intel (r) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU T6570 2.10 GHz
Display map Mobile Intel(r) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)
    Hitachi HTS545032B9A300 ATA Device driver
    Display Mobile PC screen 1366 * 768

    Help, please

I would start by removing the current driver and installing the latest driver available.  (yours is 5 years old)

"It is not a true crash, in the sense that the blue screen was launched only because the combination of material and video driver video was to be insensitive and not because of any exception processing synchronous".

Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.
If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.
Try to remove a side panel and a fan of big sector directly to the motherboard and GPU.
Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.

I download cpu - z and gpu - z (both free) and keep an eye on the video time

    Hello

If the reinstallation of the system with the recovery CD does not help, then it is not a software problem.
This means that some hardware component is defective.
In this case, you need to take your laptop to the service.

"the igxprd32 display driver has stopped working normally please restart your computer" on intel gma 3150, especially when I run 3d games or install Skype 5 and start on this video than the above message appears please advise solution and oblidge. Thank you

First of all, you're not telling the forum what version of Windows, edition and service pack level your system is running.  Please do.

Secondly, there is no describe your system.  Tell us who makes your system and its model, if a packaged system.  If not packed, please tell us who manufactured your motherboard and model.  If your video card is another box and not originally shipped with the system, please tell us the manufacturer and model of the adapter.

Finally and most importantly, please read 555375 Microsoft Knowledge base article, how to ask a question.

Now, in general, unless your system has a card mother Intel®, you do not want to download an updated directly from Intel® driver.  If there is a system, you will want to download an update of the driver support from the manufacturer of your system model site.  If not packed, see web site for support of the manufacturer of the motherboard for your updated driver model.  If this isn't the case, a card mother Intel®, the reason for the not to load the Intel® GMA 3150 drivers from the web site Intel® is that there may be unhandled in the Inte® base drivers implementation changes.  Nor should download the drivers through Windows Update, except as a last resort.  If Windows Update contains an updated driver, check you motherboard of the system/website of the manufacturer for updates.  Be aware that some manufacturers/motherboard of the system (e.g. Dell) don't feel any economic incentive to keep the drivers/firmware to update if a motherboard system was abandoned.

Also check with Support ATI, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums

  • Several BSOD and display driver has stopped/recovered

This is a new generation of about two months ago. First record:

    -Biostar Mobo TZ77B
-In the course of running a Geforce 560 with 301,42 drivers
-16 GB Corsair XMS3 1600 DDR RAM (two sets of 2x4g, second series was RMA had and has recently received, problems started after the installation of the new together)
    -550w Rosewill PSU hive

Initially got a set of bad RAM, RAM had. During the removal of the bad RAM my 560 died suddenly and was RMA would be as well. Replacement 9800GTX + has been installed as I waited for the 560 to be returned, which unfortunately did not solve the problem. As soon as receives a new set of RAM from Corsair and installation I started getting errors display driver stopped and recovered while gaming, artifacts and an occasional BSOD with various codes (I saw 0000003B pop up the most.) while playing City of Heroes of MMO, surfing the Web and watching videos and all playing various other games. The BSOD seems to also occur in pairs, usually one plant to me during a game, and then another a few minutes after the restart.

I run stress tests using Prime 95 my last system, as well as of Furmark and makes both temperature resistance tests, while controlling also my GPU under load. So far the CPU and GPU temperatures exceed not anywhere in what seems to be a dangerous area. I also ran a memtest86 overnight on the RAM bars for 9 hours, 18 assists, without error. Unfortunately, only, I could get memtest 3.5 version to work, the 4.0 would immediately restart (not sure what the cause of this what)

Yes small lots is the way the safest are the Windows updates. I start with sp1
first to avoid installing updates can be in sp1.

It is the misfortune of having to RMA a card more than once. My Gigabyte GTX560ti was spotless and quiet on the first day (a little over a year now).
At least, you run stable now and know that the other stuff is good.

  • Display driver has stopped working and has recovered

This is my first post, so please bear with me. Also although I use pc a lot, I'm not technical interest. I have a laptop Compaq presario CQ61 64-bit Windows 7.  2 days ago the screen went suddenly "speckly" flickered then briefly became black. On forward "normal service resumed" but a message "display driver stopped working and got ' came then disappeared. I was watching BBCiplayer in time if this is useful. Since then, the problem has re occurred several times and I had to reboot a couple of times. I don't do any game at all, just browse some sites regularly then use Skype for an hour a day.  I thought everything was good today as the portable performed normally for a long time, then did it again! Can anyone help (in terms of simple fool) Please? Thank you very much

    An update conflict is possble.

It is likely, too, that just reinstall the driver - if necessary update or just reinstall the current version - can solve this problem, if the software is at the origin of the problem.  Sometimes the drivers are dynamited by the updates and can be cured by be reinstalled after the fact.

Good luck!  Post back with your results, if you like, and let us know how you fare.
