Satellite M300 - works only one USB port on the right side
Hello
in the series of M, Toshiba M300 satellite (red), there is a port USB combo and something else, and also another USB port ordinary on the * left * side of the laptop. There is also a USB port on the * right * side.
Currently, for some reason, on my right, the USB port works (in other words, the laptop detects) and my left side, where there are 2 USB ports, it does not work (in other words, it does not detect it) I have no idea how solve this problem.
And what happens if you connect the external USB mouse?
It work?
> I have the toshiba recovery of the burned disc, should I use it?
Why not, you can test it with the new operating system preinstalled too.

Of course, it sounds like a hardware problem, not a a Windows.

M40X-129: the two usb ports on the right does not work
Hello people.
Two days ago, I bought a satellite m40x-129. I wanted to use a usb mouse and a drive hard usb so I had to plug the device into a a usbport on the right side of the laptop, but is does not work.
even after reinstalling with windows xp pro (I need to connect to a primary domain controller) has not changed. I installed all the drivers of the tool-cd burned by a toshiba tool in the original installation.
Maybe it's a hardware fault. someone else has the same problem? Thanks, jens
today I updated my drivers for the new 7 series chipset from intel, but the usb ports on the right still have no power and do not recognize any device.
I'll ge see my local dealer Monday ;) -

WiFi becomes quick and reliable whne the memory stick is disconnected. Always reproducible. Does not occur when the memory stick is plugged into the USB port on the left. Also has anyone seen this behavior?
Wireless network adapter Qualcom Atheros QCA61x4 with the version of the driver 12.0.0.230 dated 03-2016-21.
Thank you
Chris
Hello
The explanation is simple. I'm sure that the memory stick is a USB 3.0, a plugged in a USB 3.0 port. The problem is that all USB 3.0 devices generate a 2.4 Ghz interference, as it generates interference on the frequency working on wireless. The solution is to connect the player to another port or to spend the 5 GHz wifi if your router supports. The wifi antenna is probably very close to the port and to the USB key.
This is known for a long time, and has nothing to do with the laptop.
There is an article on the Web page of intel who described the problem more technically. You can search if you wish.
This causes a problem also with a wireless mouse, if the receiver is connected next to a USB 3.0 stick or any other device.

Satellite L670D-10F - USB ports on the side right do not work
Hello
I have a problem with 2 USB ports on the right side of my laptop satellite L670D-10th with Windows 7. This morning, there was no problem, I've used my optical mouse without problem, but when I restart my computer this afternoon ports no longer works.
I tried to off and reactivited ports, but it does not help. In the control panel of the equipment, everything is set as 'good work '.
Can someone help me?
Thank you
Hey,.
> I tried to off and reactivited ports, but it does not help.
How did you do that?Probably there s something wrong with the chipset driver that controls USB ports in your case, I would be to reinstall the driver from the official website of Toshiba chipset.
Did you install any additional software or driver for your mouse? If so I recommend you to remove this software.

Satellite C50 - B - 14 d - USB ports not working not
I have a C50 Satellite - B - 14 d and had again for about 4 months.
I didn't know that at the time of the purchase (online) that there is no optical drive, so I bought an external.
Trying to plug into it, discovered that nothing happened in the 2 ports on the right side (2.0 and 3.0) so I decided to try the left port 2.0.
It does not detect the device, but it undetects then within 10 seconds, it continues to do this every few seconds it is impossible for me to access my work on CD!
I contacted the people I bought it since then, but they say it's a matter of Toshiba?
Can someone help to solve what I don't want to send it for repair because I can't be without him more than 2 days.HHHEEEEELLLLPPPPPPP!
I put t he thinks that the s notebook issue if all the USB ports work in relation to other devices USB; That is to say the USB mouse.
From my point of view of a few external USB CD/DVD drive could not be recognized because of the low power of the USB.
Try to connect the CD/DVD drive to the laptop using the USB Y cable which allows to connect to two USB ports.

device works on some usb ports
My iPad has stopped working on the USB port in the front on my PC. It keeps connecting and disconnecting.
It works fine when connected to a USB port on the back of the PC.
In windows, each USB port has its own driver. This is why you see the message "installing device drivers" in the notification area when the device is plugges on a unused usb port...
How can I remove the driver for the iPad that is associated with tha front port so that the iPad is recognized properly by Windows?
Thank you.
Frédéric
The problem could be that the bus from the front port has other pulling just enough power for
