  The ID is not known to me, but I discovered that L30-10 X has been delivered with the 15.4 "display color TruBrite Wide XGA TFT (1280 x 800) screen.

  But be aware that a new motherboard is not good cheap. You will need for a replacement of the mobo 300Euros.
  I think that it s not worth buying a new motherboard because you could add a few Euros and might get a new laptop.

  However, you can view some websites like Ebay for example a satellite M30/Satellite Pro M30 of second hand. Perhaps you could get a second hand mobo

  Normally you can find new drivers to display on the Toshiba site like you said, but I think that in this case, you can't do anything.

  I checked the site Web of ATI/AMD, and I can find more recent drivers for the Mobility Radeon X 1400.
  But it s on your own risk to use these drivers because they don t have a protection against overheating. The graphics card may be damaged.

  Either way, why you want to update the driver? You have some problems with the laptop (in games)?
  Sometimes it s useful to search for a patch or an update for the game and the OS.
