Satellite M55 - S139 DVD burn problem
I tried 9 times to burn a DVD.
I tried several software programs including InterVideo WinDVD came with the laptop, DVDFab Decrypter and those that I use most of the time, DVDShrink and ImgBurn.
The log of the software indicates success, but most of the DVD will not play back - even on my laptop. Most of them won't open even - it just keeps telling me to insert a disk in the drive.
Only once, I successfully burned a part of a DVD with InterVideo, and I could play on my external DVD player. But I was not able to duplicate my success (and only partially burned - perhaps InterVideo's just a demo). I tried to save as an ISO image and also just the files.
I'm using Memorex DVD-R. Can someone help me please! I tried the DVD forums and nobody knows the answer. Is this a hardware problem?
Here is the log of my last attempt:

Hello
This Protocol of engraving says nothing.
These problems usually occur because of the CD/DVD media.
I put t know if you tried, but you should check out the various media CD and DVD from different manufacturers.
Well, try to use Nero burning Rom program.
It s a great program and I m very happy

Satellite M50 CD/DVD burning problems
I recently puirchased a Satellite M50 with the CD/DVD Multi-lecteur. Toshiba literature indicates that it can write both write - once and several CD and DVD - writing.
While I can burn on CD - RW and DVD - RW (DVD + RW) I can't burn discs CD - R or DVD-R (or DVD + R). The error message is something in the sense of ' does not support the driver (or reader) write once discs.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you
Hello
Well, it's not easy to say why you can t burn on some media. Maybe it s a malfunction of the media?
Have you tried to burn CDs or DVDs from different manufacturers?
I use TDK media and I m very happy. I found an interesting article on the CD/DVD burning.

Satellite P300 19 p - CD/DVD burning problem
Hi, I'm new to the forum and I hope somone will be able to help.
I have DVD burning problems. When I use software engraving the image is usually copied ok and then the burning process starts, which usually lasts only a few moments, then the machine spits out the disc burnt and wasted.
I usually use Corel DVD Copy 6, but have you tried TOSHIBA and other programs such as NERO. With the help of Corel VideoStudio, it burns discs with a success rate of 90%, but the problem comes when you try to copy my own created disks.
I tried different types of discs (that is to say + R and - R), and I also tried burning speeds.
Anbody else suffers from this problem?
I have managed to find an error code 06077-26 - 2A 040902, made this average anyhting for anyone?
TEMPRO alerts appear to have provided updates firmware for a number of other DVD players, but not for my machine? Maybe it's due a? All the drivers are up to date.
Thanks for listening and the anybodies help is more than welcome.
See you soon.
In my opinion, you should not think about buying replacements. If you think that the drive does not properly contact service. If necessary the reader will be replaced free of charge.

No sound after upgrade to Vista on Satellite M55-S139
I just put a laptop Toshiba Satellite M55-S139. I added a 1 GB RAM and everything seems to work, even the Aero Interface.
However, I have no sound. Vista indicates that the device is working properly think it works, but I don't hear anything from the speakers or the headphones. I uninstall the program from Toshiba Virtual Sound that Vista has complained that it was not compatible.
The sound is a "RealTek AC97 Audio". Thanks in advance for any help.
Maybe the audio driver that is installed on your laptop is not compatible with Vista.
Search this site realtek more audio drivers:
http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/and try the diver SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio.
Maybe it helps...

Re: Looking for Satellite M55-S139 driver
From what I can tell, this error of unknown EVIL device on my laptop, Satellite M55-S139, is due to a missing ACPI driver.
I can't find this driver.
Please, please, can someone help me find the driver for a Satellite M55-S139 for Windows XP ACPI?
Thank you kindly.
The Satellite M55 was designed for the American market.
Then you should take a look at the Toshiba driver site us.This:

DVD burning problem: I burn the movie on widescreen PAL on a DVD-R disc. I managed it burned without menu. I have now added a "Pan and Zoom" menu with a main marker at 00:00:00:00, 21 scene markers and a cleat to 01:29:32:17 (the end of the film). The combustion is interrupted with a message to watch a C:\Users\ianle_000\Documents\20151206160446.iso file. There is no file. The message also provides a link for an explanation. This Web page is impossible to obtain. I'm running on a PC with Windows 8.1.
Thank you once again. I burned the DVD!
It is the first film for which I have reached the stage of burning. I'm not sure why she didn't in the first place. I tried to burn the "no menu" version, but at the time, was shot the DVD itself - I wonder when he reached this point?
So, I burned the "no menu" version to another DVD, that worked, then the version of menu, with no cleat to a third DVD, which reads perfectly.
Now that I have a successful routine, I'll stick to it.
Thanks for all your help.
I'll close this discussion now.

I have a Satellite M55-S325 with MAT * A DVD - RAM UJ-years 840 Firmware Version 1.52 I bought States 5 months ago, everything seemed fine until a few weeks ago when I tried to write some data DVD, I had unrecoverable errors while writing the DVD using NERO 7 ULTRA EDITION, but now I get this messege all the time and I'm not able to write any DVD the disc seems to be well in CD writing. I tried to use recording SOUND now that comes with the laptop, no luck. I tried to reduce the size of the files, and try with lower write speeds but still no luck. I disabled burning CD of the Windows XP SP2 IMAPI burning service COM as well. I use a good quality DVD-R that worked fine before. I would appreciate your help because my HDD is almost full (but still 10 GB of free space) and I need to get a backup of my data.

I can't find any strange or mysterious messages in the log file.
You suggested that the drive can burn CDs but not DVDs.
The calibration lens dysfunction is sometimes responsible for these issues.
Unfortunately, I have no solution for this problem. The replacement drive must resolve.
The unit is fairly new in this case, you should ask for help ASP. -
Satellite L755 - CD/DVD burner stopped burning
I have a Satellite L755 systems running Windows 7 SP1 which is 11 months old and recently had to get back original which I did without any problems, but I have now discovered that my CD/DVD burner stopped burning. It can read, play music and video, but will not burn. I tried a few different programs to see if it worked, but still the same thing happens.
The reader is going through the motions and runs for the duration then spits out the CD/DVD and there is nothing about it. When I re - insert, he asks what I want to do with a blank disc.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks for reading
Have you tested with Nero and different empty media such as CD-R/RW, DVD - + R/RW and also different brands?

Satellite M55-S139 - no visible wireless network card
Hello
Already my Atheros said "great connection" and in fact some programs could run on the wireless internet but no web browser wouldn't work.
Today, I bought a new router Belkin N +, and it's the same problem.
I downloaded the drivers here
http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/modelContent.jsp?CT=DL&OS=&category=&MOID=1132275& rpn = PSM53U & modelFilter = & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 10 73768663
First of all, I put it XP and Wi - Fi and got the top pilot, which did nothing.
I then really messed up and apparently forgot to put it in this way, all OS and all categories left and ran
ACPI Flash BIOS version 1.90 for Satellite M55 (PSM53U) (v1.90; 2007-01-27; 3 M)
and now it's worse than ever. It's like I don't even have a wireless card. No way to attempt to display wireless networks. Atheros options are all gray, there is no system for a wireless connection bar...
I'm at my wit's end.
All the tips are sincerely and greatly appreciated.
You are right. Network adapter is correctly installed, but as I can see, WLAN driver is missing.
Then please visit the U.S. Toshiba download page, and download driver WLAN for your laptop model.I do not know what operating system are you using and I can't say with certainty which driver is the right one.

I can build in the Satellite Pro 4600 DVD burner?
Hiya
Can anyone help with this? Has anyone equipped with a DVD burner (dvd - rw drive Toshiba sd-r6252)?
Which models are compatible? I'm good fight opening and Exchange.
Compatibility just in fact know.
Thank youHello
I put t found any information if this drive is compatible with the Satellite Pro 4600, but you should be careful to replace the drive.
You should check the dimensions of the car. Very important is the drive (master, slave, csel) settings because it is not possible to change this settings as on the usual desktop drive.
I'm not sure about the settings on the Satellite Pro 4600 but the ASP Toshiba should know that.
You can also order the caught player supported by the Toshiba service partner in your country. -
For Satellite Pro 2100 DVD burner?
I have a Satellite Pro 2100 which has a CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive and I would like to upgrade to a DVD burner but don't want an external. Could someone tell me which drive is compatible with the model number and where I can get hold of one? Can I get a Toshiba direct? Nowhere would really suit me I need to get one, but just don't know what I can and can not use! Thank you.
Hi Jamie
Unfortunately, he was unable for me to find this DVD burner, but if you want to update or change some parts of your laptop the best way is to ask ASP for compatible devices and supported.
Good bye

Hello, I'm trying to fix my burner but I tried to uninstall and reboot my computer to see if the problem might be to set but he told me that my driver cd is missing or damaged, and I don't know what to do besides put my computer back to factory settings. So if anyone knows something I can do like that I don't have to put it back to factory settings it would be great.
Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!
Ideas: My CD/DVD burner does not work and it is said that it is damaged or missing. How can I fix it?
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
Hello
Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser. Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.===============================
Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
do it right.Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car. Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
the parameters.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Hardware Profiles\0001\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

devices and their properties in flat table, instead of the tree viewer
