Satellite on L9W - B Mini - touch pad does not

Hello

I recently bought a Toshiba mini click, and I think my touchpad is defective because it does not at all, does not meet the clicks or movement and never has.

I tried to reinstall the 3 different versions of the driver swing.
I tried to reset the bios,
I did update the bios,
I tried just the standard Microsoft driver
Connected and disconnected a thousand times
Fully charged both
Also tried F5.

Still can't make it work, any advice?

See you soon
Sam

Hmm... It could be a hardware problem, but what about the system recovery?

Retrieve the computer laptop back to factory settings and check the touchpad feature directly after the aircraft was recovered and the factory settings.

For the most part, in case of software problems, this recovery procedure should solve your problem...

If I plug my usb wireless mouse that works, but when I unplug it the touch pad does not work

Have you checked to see if your laptop model has a physical button around the mouse pad that allows & turns off?  If it does not, many cell phones often have a software switch that can toggle the on & off power mouse pad.  It is usually triggered by a combination of function keys (key Fn + one of the F1 to F12 keys).

Take a close look at the row of the top of your keyboard and see if you can find a key that has a small symbol that looks like a mouse pad.  If you find one, try pressing it in combination with your Fn key to see if your mouse pad features returns.

  • Toshiba touch pad does not

HI.i have a Toshiba Satellite U300-113 laptop and the touch pad does not work. I tried to look for it under the mouse settings, but it is not there.it shows that the external mouse device.i visited recently and it worked then and when I came home and tried to use the touchpad, he did not. PLEASE WHAT DO I DO? the external mouse works properly, but I really prefer the built-in mouse.plus when you are carrying the laptop around for portability, it is quite difficult because I have to carry an external mouse wherever I go.

Please, I would like to know if a solution can be found as soon as possible please?
Please specify your guidelines so that I'll know what to do.
    Thank you.

We hope that your touchpad device is not physically damaged in any way or has gone wrong.

    Then...

Type device manager in the start menu search. You can also access it by right click on computer > properties and look for a link called the Device Manager on the left.

In the device, search for 'Mice and other pointing devices' Manager and see if everything is there. Using my computer for example, I can see «Synaptics PS/2 Port Touchpad» If you see something like that, then you have a few choices.

    Right-click on it and choose:

Update driver software - update the driver software to the latest version if found on the computer or on the internet.

Uninstall - Uninstalls the driver entirely.

I suggest try updating first. If this does not help then do an uninstall (it may disappear when you do this). After uninstalling, look up and you'll see a few icons. Place the cursor on them until you see the description "Check for changes on the hardware" and click on it (the icon should look like a computer with a magnifying glass). The unit should reappear, right click and reinstall the driver.

Note: If you double-click on a device, you can see the status of the device. It should say "Device works properly."

Note #2: Also on the Toshiba site, I can't find the drivers Toshiba Satellite U300-113 and support page. I see U300-ST3091, U300-ST3092 and U300-ST3094.

  • HP 15 ab019na: clicking on the touch pad does not work

My laptop newly purchased has just been upgraded to Windows 10. My problem is with the touch-pad. Clicking on most of the things with it (left or right) turn simply on the element, but it does not open the item. For example, the cross that appears in the top right, to a screen, to cancel this screen does not when you click on it. I have to touch it with my finger so he could work (the laptop's touch). A lot of hypertext links do not open when you click on it, but their contact works. The Start button at the bottom left does not open when you click on it, but it's when they are affected.

Clicking is sometimes more convenient than touch, so I would if the issue is resolved.

  • Satellite L505 - decimal button and '8' pad does not

    Hello

My buttons decimal and 8 on the numeric keypad of my laptop does not work. It seems to work after a few minutes of bashing alt + ctrl + shift + fn + keyboard arrows keys, then as soon as I move away from my computer it stops working again. does anyone have the solution button to turn on? also, does anyone know how to disable this?

    Thank you

    > can someone give me a link for the drivers for the keyboard? satellite l505d? I can't locate them.

Keyboard drivers are part of the Windows operating system. You can not download this driver separately
Usually, if remove you the keyboard from the Device Manager, then reboot again, the Windows operating system should recognize and automatically install the keyboard driver.

    > the key 8 has worked now... I was just overwhelming the shiftaltctrlarrows buttons.
But it seems that the buttons work now

  • Stream laptop HP 11: after the update of windows 8.1 Windows 10, the touch pad does not work

My Hp Notebook PC 11 Stream works fine on Windows 8, 1 until I updated to windows 10. Now the touchpad is dead. I have to use a USB mouse.  In Device Manager, all the drivers work fine. Any clue?

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome.

    Information below can help you

Make sure your keyboard is on

Check in the settings 'Mouse & touchpad' to ensure that the touchpad is enabled.

Open the Settings menu (Start > settings) and go to devices > Mouse & touchpad. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and then click additional mouse options.

The mouse properties window opens. Click on the tab more far to the right (it may be called MOMENTUM ordevice settings). Under devices make sure your keyboard is not disabled. If it is disabled, click on the touch pad to select, and then click Activate.

Another thing to try is to see if your laptop has a function button that enables / disables the touchpad. It should look like a tiny touchpad with a diagonal line through it (on my computer laptop is F6, on other laptops we Fn + F5, Fn + F6 , or something else entirely). Try to switch this key if you have before you panic on the misfortunes of possible touchpad.

    Update your drivers

Windows 10 has been out for a few months now, and most of the manufacturers of touchpad have updated their drivers accordingly. But you may need to manually update your driver.

There are two ways to do this. First, click on the Start button and select Control Panel. In the Control Panel window, open the Device Manager.

By clicking on "update driver software... "will your computer Internet search for an updated driver.

    Best regards;

Your touchpad driver is maybe defective. Go to the Toshiba website from the link below and enter your laptop model number and the operating system that you will find on a label on the back and download it and install it the Touch Pad Driver and see if that fixes the problem.

  • Aspire S7 Touch Pad does not work (fn + T doesn't help)

The touchpad on my Aspire S7 does not work, and I tried without a doubt the fn + T and alt + fn T patches.  The touchpad has been buggy before total failure.  He would sometimes get stuck in the guts down, etc.  Now, there is zero answer either.

    DCAR

I don't know what answer you're after here.

If it is under warranty, have Acer Fixez_ the.

If it is not under warranty, have a repairman fix.

    Or use a USB mouse.

But I think you knew that already.

  • My touch pad does not work. How to activate it?

Usually, I use a wireless mouse but want to use the touchpad.  I'd appreciate any help you could give me!  May not know where to go to find an answer.  It cannot be hardware and drivers.

    Hello

It is re - activate if you remove the mouse from the computer?

Check with support of the manufacturer system, documentation online or forums that there is probably
Shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
and some come with a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

    ==========================================

If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
    on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

The similar procedure on XP, Windows 7 and Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    I hope this helps.

  • Satellite C50T - A - 11 d - touch screen does not work

Searched - Microsoft and Toshiba drivers and find NOTHING - in fact in the box drivers from Device Manager - under Hid compatible touchscreen - I disabled and enabled it, tried to download the latest version of the driver - said this is the latest driver - but also said so there is no driver device associated with this device.

Small keyboard will appear next to the system tray, but nothing on the touch screen works somehow

Help please before I send this laptop pretty back!

    Hello

    > Sought - Microsoft and Toshiba drivers and find NOTHING - in fact in the box drivers from Device Manager - under touchscreen compatible Hid

There is no such thing as a special driver for touchscreen and it's why you can't find this driver on the Toshiba driver page. Contains the Windows system and own internal driver to control the touch screen.

Go to control panel-> Tablet PC settings control
Here you will find some options to calibrate the touch screen

In the view tab, you will find the setup button.
Click the Setup button to launch the Setup where you could point to the touch screen
In the substantive area called display display options you could calibrate the touch.

In case this workaround would not be possible or would not work, I recommend you put the laptop back to factory settings using the recovery media or HARD drive recovery option.

But beware: this recovery format the HARD drive and thus data backup would be recommended.
