  Also I get an exclamation with PCI device and Bus SMB controller in Device Manager. I tried following Chipset utility, but it did not work.

  Toshiba just released all the XP drivers for this laptop series. You should take a look on the page of the driver;

  You should look for in;

  Archive-> Satellite Archive-10xx Satellite-> Satellite 1000 - > Zx-> Win XP

  and you will find the XP compatible driver for the graphics card!

  I need downgrading to Windows XP Home edition to my new Satellite L40 - 12 X. For now, Toshiba does not provide driver Windows XP Home edition for my laptop, exept for Atheros Wi - Fi.

  So I found the drivers for each device directly from the only supplier site except for the modem of Toshiba. Vista driver does not work and the list of devices in its .inf file tells that the chipset is Agere.

  I had the same problem on my L40 - 13G. Before installing drivers, you must download and install patch KB888111 and KB835221 for Windows XP. And try to install the XP of satellite L30 drivers (if you have modem with toshiba chipset) or L100 (if you have chipset connexant).

  I have a problem with the screen on my model Satellite P100 - 106 PSPADE 018110G 3.

  I changed the old Panel LG PHILIPS LP171WX2 (A4) (K7) (she has wide stripes without a photo) with the new a LP171WP4 Philips (TL) (B1) and after the first start, everything worked OK but more later when I turn it on there there's no picture, only automatic backlight is activated, windows starts because I hear it log into the sound on the speakers.

  Can I just suggest you to test an another Billboard.

  The card isn t the problem since the external monitor works fine.

  It shouldn't be a problem with FL inverter for the backlight seems to work also.
  This is why I believe that this new Panel must be tested.

  I put t know which laptop model you have chosen, but Toshiba modem drivers are definitely released and published on the page of the driver.

  Go to the download driver of and choose:
  Laptops-> Satellite-> Satellite series-> Satellite A100 (PSAA8)-> XP

  Satellite A100-233 is a part of the series of PSAA8E and therefore, you should choose this number

  It supports the Intel Core 2 Duo (Merom) T7400 2.16 GhZ CPU processor
  You can upgrade the memory to 4 GB max.
  The laptop was delivered with the module mem 1 GB graphic card of 256 MB nVIDIA GeForce Go7600 FX, 802.11a/b/g WLan and BT.

  I think this is a reason why this series is not listed on the page of the Toshiba driver at the moment.

  Have you tested the drivers from another P100 series? Some devices come with the same material specifications and possibly other drivers will run.

  Maybe an additional info about the card and the modem will help you;
  It s a good Conexant chip and modem Conexant. Therefore you must find the Conexant audio drivers and driver Conexant modem software in the net.
