  I recently bought a P850 138.
  Whenever the power supply is connected and turned on the laptop case computer feels strange to the touch, and if you move your hand through it, as you often eventually do during the strike, etc., you get this weird 'static' y feeling.

  When you are disconnected from the power grid the sensation continues for a short while, but soon after the case feels just like normal metal again.

  I guess that something happens which is originally the case become statically charged, but does anyone have any ideas as to why what is happening? Is this a common problem?

  I have a really, really strange bug. I have a LabVIEW VI that change a chain on a power supply. I have a start and a stop voltage and use a while loop to increment the device.
