Satellite P100 - display problem after installing the Samsumg software

Hello

I have a Toshiba P100-PSPA3 and just bought a new external monitor Sincmaster from Samsung. I installed it yesterday and everything works fine, I just plug in and the laptop recognizes it as a second monitor. Then I noticed the monitor comes with a CD and they recommend you to install the components of this CD.

I installed the driver and still works fine but then I installed a software called * Magic money *, it is said that I should make a new start, I did and the image comes in the second monitor, * my laptop screen is black.*
Then I begin to try all the possible solution I had in my head. I open this Magic Tune, and he says that it s not compatible with my computer, so I uninstall it. I have downloaded the drivers from Nvidia, Toshiba, installed again and again doesn´t work.

I prove with the nvidia settings and the West without change. NVIDIA doesn´t recognize my laptop as a monitor, screen it recognizes just the Samsumg Sincmaster.

I looked for people with the same problem in other forums and a possible solution was to turn off the computer, remove the battery and press the power for a few seconds, trying to carry out the computer. I did and it didn t work.

Someone here could give me a light? I m totally lost now and I have to work with my computer in the next few days!
Thank you very much
Ivan

Hello

This software is not known to me and it is important to say that notebook manufacturers may not support some third part software.

I put t know if this software must be preinstalled but I'm sure you can use your external display without it. When the external display is connected, you can switch between the LCD and external monitor by using the FN + F5 key combination. If you want to extend the display outside a use Windows display settings. It should work. I tested several laptop Toshiba with a few different monitors in my office and I n t noticed no problem.

Have you already solved your problem or you are still looking for the solution?

  • Satellite C50D - B - 11 X - weird display problem after installing iTunes

    Hi all
I just installed the latest version of iTunes on my Satellite C50D - B - 11 X, and now I can not see any picture of video players. reading online (youtube, etc.) or from CyberLink PowerDVD. All I get is a green screen where the video should be. The audio plays very well, but I do not see a thing. I uninstalled iTunes, but it made no difference. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Adam

I read in various forums that resettlement of the Quicktime would help solve this problem of green screen.

In addition I recommend you to install the playback software VLC freeware for testing purposes.
This player supports almost all video formats, and you should be able to read your local videos properly.

Recently, I bought computer dell laptop with original windows 7... My problem is cannot install the old software I used Windows xp... everyone will tell me the solution for this... The following software are examples...

software wincc from Siemens, Keyence simulation software

Search for updates for these products, which are running Windows 7, or see if they'll work in compatibility mode.  Assistance with the compatibility mode on the start ORB, then raise help and Support, and then search for "Compatibility Mode".  Many programs that directly affect the hardware will not work under Windows 7 due to changes in device drivers and hardware access low level.

  • Problems after installing the new disk in the Satellite M70 151

I have a Satellite M70-151 the hard drive gave up and was unreadable, before that I was using with my desktop via a router, that it worked very well. I had no option but to install a new hard drive now in System Manager, I get of the yellow question marks against:
    Other features:
    ? Mass storage controller
    ? Network controller
    ? Modem PCI
    ? Video controller (VGA compatible)

I searched and searched, but can not find the drivers for these 4 things

I have sound but only weak, I don't have a WiFi Yes feature I tried to install the good (as advised by Toshiba) Lan Driver [link to driver | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_driver_details.jsp?ID=58122&OSID=10&drive rLanguage = 42 & selectedLanguage = 13 & driverCountry = 41 & selectedCountry = 8]

When I try to install it says "the device may not be present or could have been ejected/disconnected from the system.

I know I am being thick but I was under the impression that the Lan has been integrated into the laptop? :_|

I would be sincerely grateful for all of the advice of my peers. :)

    First of all, we should start with basic information;
The M70-151 Sat belongs to the series of PSM71E that's why you should choose this issue of the European driver Toshiba page if you want to download the correct drivers.

_You will need these drivers: _

Mass storage controller I think it is a cardbus driver
Controller - s network a LAN or WLan card computing. First, check which driver is already installed
    Modem PCI driver modem ;)
Display video Controller (VGA compatible) driver

  • Satellite 2210CDT: two problems after installing Win XP

Hello! Maby it sounds funny but I found Toshiba Satellite 2210CDT inside my closet, installed Windows XP (oem supplied with the mouse, I bought some time ago) and it works!
The only problems I have are:
    * When the system is in hibernation, it is impossible to 'wake up' (I remmember in Win98 in this laptop there is problem);
    * I don't really have the tools provided with Win98 came with the laptop (ie.battery status and so...)

    Appreciate the help, Mike

PS sorry if I post in a bad place in the forum, but this is my first post (I hope you can understend...)

    Hello

Satellite 2210CDT is an ancient and you should be lucky that Windows XP runs on you laptop.
But this unit has been designed and delivered before the era Windows XP started.
I checked the page of the Toshiba driver and there is no drivers for Windows XP. I found drivers only for W2k and Win98.
Unfortunately, if you use the Win XP on your laptop you must do without drivers Toshiba, tools and utilities.

I found a utility to do Hibernation for Win98 on the Toshiba site. I think that this is a utility that is important to use the hibernation mode. But as I said, it is available for Win98.

  • Problem after installing the driver VGA for HP Pavilion 1212TX g4

Hello. I just bought a new HP Pavilion 1212TX g4.

I install Win7 Ultimate Pro in it and no problems found. But after I installed the VGA driver (ATI Catalyst) the problem occurs.

The error occurring on the screen is something like this: Access Violation (0xc0000005).

Cannot run multiple applications installed once the error occurs (for example: iTunes, Nokia Suite, Adobe Reader).

I am looking for the AC VGA driver for HP Pavilion 1212TX g4 but the problem still occurs.

Please someone help me. I can't use my new laptop

    Thanks in advance

    Herry

If you have installed the drivers from various sources I start over with a clean install of Windows 7 at this point and use the specific drivers for your model >& drivers starting first with Chipset and AMD graphics card, driver Intel Rapid Storage Technology and all other cases.

  • Satellite L450D respond does not after installing the camera software

    Hello

I bought this month a return of the United Kingdom L450D. Yesterday I tried to install the Olympus digital camera software, but once installed would not work. Olympus site application is compatible with Windows 7, but I decided to uninstall the software. I wonder if I uninstalled something I shouldn't, because does not now.

I have a message - Windows Explorer has stopped working with 2 options: find a solution online and restart the program or restart the program

Problem is cursor will respond not with the touchpad. A couple of times without reply, tried FN + F9. Mouse connected, cursor moves but will not meet the comand

    Any ideas?

    Hello

This means that camera Olympus software is causing this problem?

Hmm you have tried to uninstall the software in safe mode? Go to the advanced boot menu (F8), select Safe mode. Then try to uninstall the usual Olympus software.

In addition, you can try uninstalling with special tools like CCleaner. I use it often as it cleans the registry and others.
    Check it!

  • Problem after installing the new drive on Pavillion G6-2320

The original hard drive on my old book of 8 Windows Pavillion G6-2320 3 months crashed and I sent to HP and got the replacement of the hard drive (laptop still under warranty). They gave me support online printing that I just need to install it in the laptop and would not need the disc to install the operating system. (I had originally bought my own replacement hard drive and had error messages so chatted with online support who took care of the hard drive replacement confirmed that indeed one supplied with the laptop has been damaged)

After you install the new hard drive and turn on the laptop, the following message appears on the black screen:

    Not found boot device

Please install an operating system on your hard drive

    Hard drive (3FO)

    The F2 System Diagnostics).

I went to F2 and test the hard drive. Everything was made. Help please!

    Thank you

    Hello:

You will need to call HP support and ordering of a set of recovery disc for your model in order to install the operating system and the programs provided with your laptop.

HP is not delivered replacement hard drives pre-configured with any software.

They should also ship you the free of charge from the PC recovery discs is still under warranty.

  • Problems after installing the second SATA drive in Windows 7

I just install a second SATA hard drive in Windows 7. Currently, I use only a processor AMD Athlon X 2 4800 with 3 GB of RAM, Windows 7 64 - bit, installed on a 400 GB Samsung SATA drive and have two (a pioneer and a Liteon) DVD burners.

System worked fine until I put in the new drive. Previously, I had hung as such discs: SATA1 was the existing 400Go drive, SATA2 and 3 were two DVD burners (don't ask me why, I have 2, will remove one of them, if that's the problem).

Installed the new HARD in the SATA4 drive. Booted up, saw the new drive in the BIOS, but Windows does not see it until I went to disk management, a drive letter assigned and formatted etc. Also, I swapped the drive letters so I had all of the HARD drive (I have my 400 GB split into two readers via the partition) and C: D: E: F: and G:, DVD players.

Started, began to transfer data from D: to the new E:, and Windows crashes. No message error, everything freezes. Need to reset, and then allow Windows to check for errors etc. Return to Windows, same case again. I swapped the SATA cables so that SATA1 and 2 are the HARD drives and SATA3 and 4 are DVD players. Reboot, same case.

What I am doing wrong? Or what should I do? I don't even have to start the transfer of data I just let WIndows running for 2 minutes and it automatically hangs again.

If someone could help me as soon as POSSIBLE please, it would be fantastic. Thank you!

I've been in contact with the provider, and Yes, that will take it back for Exchange. They gave me some ideas to try first, I'm going to do tonight; They asked me to check if the HARD disk is running on series complete ATA (SATA) mode and to enable the DMA if he asks me to. Otherwise, they said, try the fail-safe mode. Don't know if any of them are currently enabled etc but will find tonight.

All else fails, I take that back! Simply means a 3 hours trip to Melbourne to make...

Thanks again guys for your help.

    Michael.

  • Satellite L850 - error message after installing the Realtek Audio driver

    Hi guys.
    I have a Toshiba Satelite L850 PSKG8A-07E001.

    I've upgraded to 8.1 Windows 64 bit

Toshiba Service Station software advised to update my sound driver 6.0.1.6794 to 6.0.1.7023.

It says to uninstall the driver installed before you install the new driver.

I uninstalled 6.0.1.6794. Then I installed 6.0.1.7023 and received the following error.

    * Error code:-5009: 0x8002802b *.

Then I tried to install the old one back and received the following error.

    * Error code:-5009: 0x8002802b *.
    * Error information: *.
    * > Ctor\ObjectWrapper.cpp (163) *.

Now the original driver was designed for Windows 8. I am now running Windows 8.1.
The new driver does not work. What should I do?

I have loged on Toshiba's web page for this laptop downloads. The 6.0.1.7023 driver does not exist.
    Where to find gas station?

    > Where to find gas station?
Good question. My question is: why change something if not necessary?
In any case, have you tried to remove this driver and install an old?

  • IdeaPad 100 s-11IBY problems after installing the update of Windows 10 anniversary (aka version 1607)

Yesterday, my 11IBY-100 s installed update 10 birthday Windows (aka Windows 10 Version 1607). Now, it has multiple problems and is unusable.

    1. the keyboard (Yes, the built-in keyboard) does not work. None of the keys (letters, numbers, 'actions' as BACKSPACE) work not at all. If I plug in a USB wireless keyboard, it works fine. So maybe there is a problem with the device driver for the built-in keyboard with the update of the anniversary. The keyboard works perfectly until Windows Update installed upgrading birthday.

    2. the trackpad is not working. If I plug in a USB wireless mouse, it works fine. So maybe there is a problem with the device driver for the trackpad with the update of the anniversary. The trackpad has worked very well until Windows Update installed upgrading birthday.

    3. the Kingston 32 GB microSD card plugged into the microSD port is not recognized by the file Explorer. If I plug the 32GB Kingston microSD card in a USB microSD card reader and plug the card reader into a USB port, microSD storage is recognized in the file Explorer, so the microSD itself is fine. So maybe there is a problem with the device driver for the port microSD with the update of the anniversary. The microSD port works great and the micro SD card has been recognized in the file Explorer until Windows Update installed upgrading birthday.

    4. There is no audio data, Windows now indicates that no audio hardware is installed. So maybe there is a problem with the device drivers for the builtin microphone and the built-in speaker with the update of the anniversary. They worked fine until Windows Update installed upgrading birthday.

I tried to do a RESET, but unfortunately although the reset worked, it resets Windows 10 Version 1607 (aka anniversary update) not an earlier version of Windows 10 and I still have all the problems above. Far as I can see, the Windows settings now say there is no history of update and no previous version of Windows, so I can't use any method of recovery which is available on the PC itself to go to an earlier version of Windows.

Please can someone advise how to reset my PC (and where I can get the 32-bit Windows 10 appropriate ISO file or other) Windows 10 Version 1511 (i.e. before the update of the anniversary)?

Or, Alternatively, device drivers are valid for Windows 10 Version 1607 for builtin keyboard, trackpad, port, microSD, microphone and speaker available somewhere? I can't see on the Lenovo Web site.

    Ron

On the Lenovo site, in "Drivers and software" for this unit, there was a "Chipset" called driver «Intel platform driver for Windows 10 (32 bit) - Ideapad 100 s-11IBY» I downloaded and installed, then after being invited, rebooted the device. I am pleased to announce that

    the keyboard now works

    (b) the trackpad works now

    (c) the microSD card is now recognized by the file Explorer

    (d) the audio now works

  • Satellite L50D - Boot problems after replacing the hard drive

I just upgraded my hard drive of the pathetic crod 5400 they provide to a SSHD@7200rpm, but now have a major issue.

I initially image the operating system from the old hard drive to the new drive and have had chronic start-up problems (1-3-4 attempts to start to succeed if it fails at any time (often to the Toshiba start screen)).

I reinstalled from a drive under Win 8.1 plain own ENT (trying to avoid the bloatware) and it is exactly the same number and is what I used to format the laptop very well with previously and had previously worked.

I tried reformatting and reinstalling (by removing all partitions on each attempt) to the CSM, unsafe UEFI and UEFI secure. MCS is a straight line never works not proceed and both UEFI methods have the same exact result.

I tried with original restore disks and it seems to work (not had time to fully test) but I don't want the bloatware and it shouldn't be serious since, if I were a customer who forgot to make restore disks (too often) and just have to have a failed hard drive or replaced sacrificed the laptop would be now a door stop.

This seems as bad as Apple to lock people in.

So I would appreciate ideas of people to please, I don't know if there is a program that is supposed to take place on a new drive as PS3 etc (I doubt it), but that leads me into the wall, and will be the last time that I consider Toshiba as anything other than a joke, if there is no solution.

I had to replace the hard disks many times in my previous Toshiba laptops and were devoid of this crod, it has something to do with UEFI which seems more a nuisance than a help right now.

    TIA.

    Hello

In my opinion, you should first check if the startup problem is related to the new installed HARD drive or new installed system.
You said that the laptop fails to start up often to the Toshiba start screen.

The splash screen appears during the POST (power on self-test) procedure. During this test, the material will be checked.
I m wondering if the hybrid SSD/HDD isn't recognised by the BIOS during this particular step.

From my point of few, this could be the reason why the system cannot be started.

    Another important note:
The 8.1 win requires enable start secure as well as the UEFI boot mode.
Therefore, you must enable both options in the BIOS.

Last but not least check if you are using the latest BIOS version as latest firmware for the hybrid SSD/HDD
