Satellite P200 - 1 FT - audio driver for win 7

Hello!

First: I know that Toshiba offers only a 'pilot limited' support for Win 7...
I'm looking for a driver for my sound devices. That's why I need to know what audio chip is installed in the laptop. I know it's a realtek chip, but not which...

Is this device 5.1 audio - device? There are 2 outputs, then I would be happy if you ;)

Thanks for your help!

Hello

The device supports a Realtek HD audio chip.
There is only one pilot on the page of the Realtek driver that is compatible with the HD audio chip.

You can use the Realtek audio driver, which was published for example for other portable devices such as L500 or A300 series
The audio driver should work as well. !

I searched and studied in internet for the possible sound chips and it seems that Satellite C855-1GN supports the audio chip Realtek ALC269Q-VB6-GR.
Its compatible Intel High Definition Audio 1.0.

Realtek HD audio driver should be compatible.

  • Satellite P200/S04 PSPB6A - Infrared Driver for Win 7

I recently updated my Toshiba P200/S04 (PSPB6A-0CS04M) for Windows 7 32 bit. After upgrading my media Center remote did not work, and I found that it was because Windows didn't detect my infrared device, with nothing else appearing in Device Manager.

There is no drivers Windows 7 available for the infrared device, so I tried to use the 32-bit driver for Vista, but without success. Does anyone know how or where I can get a driver or device, as it is frustrating not being able to use the remote control with the computer.

    Hello

AFAIK the irda (infrared driver) Vista is used to transfer files or folders to an infrared device. It s is not necessary for the functionality of remote control!

The remote control can be used as part of Windows Media Center.
Therefore, start the WMC in order to test the infrared control.

  • Can not find the audio driver for Win XP for Satellite P305D-S8900 CONEXANT

OK, I hope someone out there can help becouse thit fist.

I'm about to return this laptop for Toshiba and go through another manufacturer for laptop that can be downgraded to WIN XP pro.

I tried for a week to find a driver to work on this laptop to nothing does not.
Corsica Toshiba says that 'the COMPUTER is DESIGNED for WINDOWS VISTA"as it means something and then they tell me to unscrew...

So what I have is a Satellite P305D-S8900 and I need the audio driver for Win XP.

Now, as far as I can tell, it's a driver audio conecant but I can't find one that work of wil.

    Any help; is greatley apericeated.

    Hey Buddy

First of all, you can install all possible OS on your P305.
It true s that the P305 has been pre-installed with the Vista operating system, but of course, you will be able to use other OS like Win XP

Why you n t check the European driver Toshiba page and choose the show Satellite P300. It of similar to the Satellite P305 (U.S. series) and you'll find the Conexant audio driver!

As far as I know at this time the 3.47.1.50 versions seems to be a more recent.

  • Satellite A300D-15B PSAKCE - cannot install the audio driver for Win XP 64 bit

    Hi all

This is my first post here after hidden during the last week or so, my hope is that somewhere it helps and hope so!

I have a wonderful Toshiba A300D-15B PSAKCE with RAM 4 GB/O, but I suffer from some problems RESEARCH Holy function cannot resolve. I use this laptop as a box of development for uni/work unfortunately...

After a complete nightmare and Vista32, Vista64, I decided to go back to windows XP32, however this custom install, continues to claim a failure of a CRC file after (and Yes, that's with SATA in IDE mode and a disc of XPSP2)

I decided that I really DON'T want to goback to Vista, so installed Windows XP64. Now the first installation is very easy, I have the basic configuration, the chipset, graphic, network, CPU, usb, fine... except basic... and that's where I lost most of my hair... SOUND!

First try to install the results of the pilot of his failure, claiming the mmdriver.inf cannot be found or corrupted, obviously I checked, and yes there it is, downloaded pleasure the MMDRIVER. INF and placed it system32 and the installation always fails.

I also tried a "manual installation", in .inf files... which includes pilots XP32/64 and Vista 32/64 bit drivers, still the same
problem, the driver continues to not install. I am going bald. Exceptional drivers who moved there

Now, as I write this, I heard the rumor that the A305D uses the same

If there is no help or ideas, I'd appreciate it.

    Hello

The laptop seems to use the Conexant audio chip. So, you will need the right sound driver for Win XP 64 bit.
Unfortunately, the European driver Toshiba page provides the drivers for Win XP but I don't know if the pilots would cover the OS 64 bit as well m.

Anyway, what you need to know, is that you will need to first install the patches Ms.
The fix KB835221 and KB888111MS must be installed before installing the audio driver.
If you have tried to install the driver, then remove it from the Device Manager and update Windows XP first!

AFAIK that SP3 already contains these patches then perhaps you should install SP3 first before starting with the installation of the audio driver.

    Hello

I searched a bit on the net and found another Conexant audio driver.
    http://webpages.Charter.NET/mmooglemirror/Compaq%20C751nr%20Audio%20XP32.zip

I installed it and it works very well for my laptop but it s not L650!
However, make sure that the SP3 must be installed BEFORE installing the audio driver!

If you have already tried to install the audio driver before you have installed SP3, then you must remove the sound card in Device Manager and restart the laptop again.

    Ivan

Windows 7 is not released until the final version and that's why you won't find not all Win 7 drivers. In most cases, you will need to research and test

The LAN chip seems to be that the Realtek so you should get maybe driver Realtek LAN driver to go to the Realtek page would work.

The WiFi chip should be an Atheros so we're looking for WLan Atheros WLan driver that could be compatible with Win 7.

  • Satellite L300-01:00 - touchpad driver for Win 7 64 bit necessary

    Hello

I can't find the above mentioned driver for win7 64 bit.
Touchpad had worked normally, with a Win7 driver and after a msg of error just stopped working (I can't scroll with the touchpad).

Enyone have model L300 with 64 bit OS or know model that have the same touchpad driver for win7 64 bit on support downloads?

    Hello

Touchpad driver is not in the laptop model.
You can choose the touchpad drivers released for other series of satellites as well.
I can recommend the Satellite L500. There you can download the Synaptics and Alps touchpad driver. Both are released for Win 7 64 bit.

Please note that scrolling touchpad can be changed/turned on in the control panel-> mouse-> device settings.

I think it must be enabled.

  • Satellite P100 (PSPA6A-028017) - audio driver for Windows 7

Anyone know what audio drivers to use for this model on Windows 7?

Device Manager says "this device cannot start. (Code 10) »
Drivers listed for it are drmk.sys, hdaudio.sys, portcls.sys, sysfxui.dll and wmalfxgfxdsp.dll which are listed as "Microsoft" and "Windows 7 RTM.

Various instructions related to various factors (the Toshiba site and elsewhere) that none seemed to do anything.
None of the drivers on the Toshiba site for this model works.

Material worked fine on XP before the upgrade to Windows 7.

Can someone tell me what to use for this chipset drivers or what else to try?

    Hi Jonathan Wilson,.

I checked the page of Australian driver download Toshiba where your laptop model is listed and it seems that there is no Windows 7 driver for the moment :(

Theoretically you can also use the drivers from the European page, where you can get Windows 7 drivers for Satellite P100, model nr. PSPA6E.

  • Satellite C850-108 - WLan card driver for Win 7

I have a Toshiba Satellite C850-108 and recently it just completely crashed.
Being stupid I never had chance to create a disc of recovery etc for her.

I have a friend who sent me a disc to reinstall windows 7.
However when I did I lost all drivers and that she had to reinstall completely as Iv been discover which ones I need.

A big problem I had is that when I install the driver for network controller he simply refuses to install saying there is no detected network driver.
I tried to go to devices and exclamation yellow etc but still doesn t find anything.

I download many drivers of Toshiba to try to fix it but still the same problem. I can only connect to the internet via Ethernet.
    It's like I don't have a WiFi card.

I m very confused and frustrated by this, if anyone can help I would appreciate it a lot as this.

PS I installed using 32 bit, but when I check my serial number it says it is 64-bit. This could be a party if the cause?

    Hello

As I m wrong not the Satellite C850-108 does support the Realtek RTL8188CE WLan card.
If you need to install the Realtek WLan driver for chip RTL8188CE.

You should be able to download the driver directly from the Realtek page:
    [Realtek drivers & utilities: http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=48&Level= 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false]
