  Do restore of the system as a first step. If this fails,

  1. uninstall all software of Monitor 2

  2. unplug the monitor 2

  3. restart the computer

  4. connect the monitor 2

  5. install all the software monitor

  High temperature can be one of the many reasons why the laptop does not work correctly. You can check this by using like Everest Home Edition and similar diagnostic tools

  If you use log_archive_dest_2 as "ARCH ASYNC" useless to create standby redo logfiles. Transferred data regarding the part 'ARCHIVES '.

  I have a Satellite Pro A120, who has a problem with the computer screen to turn off image poor qulity (looks like interference) when you use the function key and activate a second monitor, but the image on the 2nd monitor is fine. However, as soon as you disable the second monitor, the computer screen looks perfect.

  I updated the BIOS of these two and the graphics driver, but the problem still persists.

  Why don't you tell us what portable external that you use?

  Have you tried to put the good resolution of monitor 1 (s notebook LCD) after the switch to the external display? I can imagine LCD becomes bad resolution and it must be changed.

  Please play with all the display settings. I used my cell phone so many times with different external screens and I was always able to configure this works well in any mode offered.

  Thank you for your message.  Go on an Acer or your video website of the manufacturer of the card and download/install the latest driver for your card.  If your video card is after-market, go to the manufacturer for the latest driver, otherwise use Acer site.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to resolve this problem.

  Yes...

  'Duplicate' will do it.  It is not "Duplicate" "sorta show the same thing on both screens.  ;-)
   
  Without third-party applications duplicate screens have the same resolution and the maximum resolution is the maximum resolution of the screen that has the smallest maximum resolution.
   
  Now - if you can be able to use the video device software full to make this (nVidia, AMD/ATI, Intel) in their more advanced control panel - that would be your application third-party in this case.  It would be under the ADVANCED above settings * if * you have installed.  I can't say what gave you what video card you have and if you have installed the complete drivers and the software of the manufacturer of the device or not - but I suggest you to do this and see if their advanced settings might help you.

  Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
  Go at the beginning of type mouse-> press on enter. It will open the mouse settings. Then click on "Select / button settings of the device. Make sure that "Device Select" is selected, and at the bottom of this tab, there should be a checkbox indicating "Disable Touchpad/Pointing Stick when external USB mice is present.
  Or, you can disable the touchpad device, but make sure that you activate it before removing the mouse.
  If the issue is not resolved, or the suggestion is different from your PC scenario, answer here.

  I don t use DBAN and may not give you the right answer, but one thing I must say: create a recovery DVD using the Toshiba recovery disc creator pre-installed and after doing this, you can do whatever you want.

  If a problem occurs, you can install OS using these disks.
  Please note: when you install using Win7 clean recovery of recorded disc image non-Toshiba makes no sense more because you will not be able to start the recovery of HARD drive more. For factory again, you must use Toshiba recovery DVD.

  I recently updated my laptop from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit).
  When I did, I went through the typical rigmarole of updating my drivers and reinstall some programs or games lost. What I wasn't expecting, it was for my camera to completely stop working.

  I reinstalled the software of the camera, and it seemed to work until I tried to take a snapshot with the software after that. Now, the camera records video and audio recording, but it will not instant (I mainly use for).

  If I click on the Snapshot button, she acts like I clicked it, but no preview image and no new photos are saved in the folder my pictures.

  Any ideas? Or advice? Or help? Thank you!

  Last but not least, you should check if the fans are not clogged with dust and debris.
  In most cases the dust prevents the cooling fans work properly and this leads to a higher temperature.

  Clean the cooling modules with a jet of compressed air, that you can buy it from the other computer dealers or online.
