Satellite P300 - 13 M start not at all

Hello everyone,

My Satellite P300 - 13 M with the number of product PSPC4E start not at all!

When I put my screen down, it automatically goes in hibernation. But the last time I did it was just too apparently... I ejected my battery and the adapter to see if it would start. Negative results. I handed over the battery and ejected from the adapter. Negative results. I connected the battery and the adapter. Negative, no results at all.

This means the end of my laptop?

Please help me as fast as you guys can't because it's my only laptop work.

Thank you very much

PS If you want specs, then I can't give you their. I don't know the specs by heart.

> This means the end of my laptop?

No doubt :(

But try this: remove the battery and ac adapter
Leave the laptop disconnected for a longer period of time (a few hours)
Then press the power button / stop along 30 sec.
Then connect the battery and the AC adapter and try to turn on the unit.

  • Satellite P300 - output HDMI does not connect to the model of TV Samsung LE32B450

When I use the Toshiba "HDMI" out utility to connect my Satellite P300 - 19K to my Samsung LE35B450 TV, I get the message "it is only effective when the PC is connected to a TV set that supports HDMI control via the HDMI cable.

Does anyone have a solution for this? My Samsung TV is newer and has 3 HDMI input jacks and the same result. Is there another driver from Toshiba not requiring this vibration control function? This seems hardly reasonable given that all I want to do is display & there is normally no 2 communication channels via a HDMI cable anyway.

Thanks in advance for any help there.

I m not 100% sure, but I think that in s manuals is described clearly that this tool is designed for use with Toshiba Regza TV. With other words, it is Toshiba specific function.

If you want to have the photo on your standard procedure for TV use for this purpose connect the laptop to your TV using a HDMI cable, turn on the port HDMI (HDMI channel) on the TV and use the combination of keys FN + F5 to switch between laptop and TV.

  • Satellite P300 - Multimedia Board does not turn on

    Hi all

I have a Satellite P300-172 and multimedia buttons above the keyboard doesn't light up/work more after replacing the motherboard. The first time that I turned on the laptop that I had left the cable disconnected, now is correctly connected and they do not always work.

I tried to do a hard reset, uninstall/reinstall VAP and update the BIOS.

    Any other suggestions to try?

    Hello

Have you replaced the motherboard yourself? If so, it could be a connection then check the cable and make sure that it properly installed s.

Also check the BIOS if there is an option for lighting or illuminated buttons. If so, you activate this option to get the keys to work.

  • Satellite P300 - 1 9 - is not read or write CDs

I have a new laptop Satellite P300 - 1 9, which has the Pioneer DVRTD08A combo player. (+ Windows Vista, updated firmware and drivers).

The problem is that he does not read write or see even any CD! When a CD is inserted and as I click on the CD/DVD drive icon in Windows Vista, it makes noise repositioning for a few minutes and then he said: 'no disc '. Tried CD, CD - R and CD - RW Verbatim quality - still...
At the same time, the disc works with any DVD.
So I'm not shure, but I guess that should not be a hardware problem (like the lens dirty), I suppose also that is not a problem of filters in the registry, otherwise he would not see all the disks...

Someone has an idea how solve it?

    > When a CD is inserted and as I click on the CD/DVD drive icon in Windows Vista, it makes noise repositioning for a few minutes and then he said: 'no disc '.

This problem appears after the update of the firmware or it seemed before?
What firmware version did you use?
Have you checked if the CD/DVD drive has been recognized in the BIOS?

I checked the page European driver of Toshiba and there are a few different firmware updates.
But not all are designed for DVRTD08A.

The update of the firmware v1.54 was designed for DVRTD08A and these FW Update resolves the error, the STRANGE does not stand on the SATA AHCI mode

However if the CD/DVD drive is recognized by the BIOS and Windows operating system then this problem could be related to the hardware failure and in this case the material should be checked and replaced if necessary.

    Hello

I bought a replacement battery for my laptop that I got an error message saying that I should replace my battery.

I bought a compatible battery, but it is not detected by my system.

The battery indicator was strong when I plugged in for the first time in the power adapter, as it was when my old battery charge - but now it blinks in and out.

I can't boot from the battery alone.

    Battery: PA3536U-1BRS, 4000mAh

    New: PA3536U-1BRS, 7800mAh

    Running windows 7.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is the new battery compatible and listed as replacement for your Satellite P300?

Somehow I think that it is not compatible and original Toshiba battery. I'm wrong about this?

  • Satellite A110 - start not at all!

My laptop won't boot. Battery does not charge, but the laptop won't start even on plug (with or without battery in place).
    Any ideas?
    Thank you

    Sounds like a motherboard problem

Have you tried to remove the battery and the AC adapter? Remove the two and wait an hour and then reconnect the battery and the AC adapter.

If it doesn't work, you need to contact a service provider for help. The technicians can help you control the laptop.

And I can't absoloutley nothing when I turn it on no button on the keybored do nothing.

    Help, please!

    > My Toshiba won't start...
Why? What is the problem here? What did you do? Usually, something like this can happen without reason.
Have you tried to update the BIOS or what?

What happen exactly when you press the power button / stop?
Try to remove the RAM and HARD drive and try again.

  • New Satellite P300 won't start.

I hope you can give me some advice. This week, I bought a new Toshiba P300 GU with Vista Home Premium. It worked fine for about 3 days, but now it won't start at all.

    Symptoms:

    * - Some LED lights blink for a second, then they stop again.
    * - No fan or drive noise.
I tried to remove the battery and power cables and left the computer for a day before trying again. There is no difference except for a few plus-lumieres LED flashes for a second, the first time I try to start the computer. The next time I try, only a few lights flash again.

After I discovered the startup problem I noticed that food is quite noisy. I also noticed that the machine has a small mark RENS in the plastic in the upper left above the screen. (Looks like a defect of manufacturing error or transport) You hardly notice the 1 cm small inconsistency in the plastic, but it doesn't look like a normal scratch.

As I thought that food could be the cause of the problems because of the strange sounds, I brought the maschine to a PC technician today. He tested the food and said it was working normally, but he also said that this should not seem like that. He did not open the laptop, to not cause trouble about the Toshiba warranty.

I bought the computer to the Denmark I wanted a Danish keyboard. However, I live in Portugal, where I use the computer. Where is the PC now.

Do you recommend that I contact an ASP to the Portugal to fix the PC or do you propose I have return the PC to the merchant at the Denmark?

The ASP will be able to exchange the screen and power supply that are not in the State, they must be good obviously both?

    Thanks for the tips!

    Hello

First of all I must say I never had problems after 3 days of my new Toshiba laptop but these things happen and no manufacturing activity is perfect.

In addition, I agree with you. I would bring the laptop to an ASP because it seems that this motherboard is defective but I do not know Mr. it's only my personal opinion, and therefore the laptop should be checked by a technician for laptop.

As far as I know that the laptop is covered by 1 year international warranty and so I would contact the ASP in your country. Ask them if they can fix your computer laptop and if not, you must communicate with other ASP where you bought the laptop.
I think this is the best solution because they can tell you what to do exactly.

Good luck and I m sure that your laptop will be repaired as soon as possible.

    Welcome them

  • 13D-3000 spectrum: spectrum 13D-3000 HP start not at all

Hello.  I have a laptop of 13 t-3000 HP spectrum.  It is about 2.5 years, in very good condition.  I plugged it in charge to the top of a few nights there, but in the morning it would not start at all.  The only thing that happens is that the power light and the Wifi (F12 key) periodically flash light, every 5 seconds.  The screen does not turn on and is completely black, I don't hear any fan and no other activity of any kind.

I would like any info or suggestions on what may be wrong.

I tried a number of things from the web searches.  It is:

-J' I hold power for 30 seconds to do a "hard reset."  This will stop the flashing.  But if I hit the power again, then the power button / stop and button wifi starts flashing again, but no other activity.

-J' checked that the battery is fully charged.  The light close to the load port turns orange when I plug in the charger, then after a while, it becomes white to indicate that it is fully charged.  I even put a voltmeter on the power supply to verify that he produced 19.5 Volts.

-J' removed the bottom cover to check for any bad connection or dust.  There is no dust, and the laptop is extremely clean.

It was taken by storm the night where I plugged it in to charge, and it was directly connected to the wall.

Suggestions of how to fix it myself, or what it should cost to someone else to fix this would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    -Danny

I just followed on this point, because I've seen similar questions, but never a definitive answer.

After you call HP Tech support, they told me that the power light flashes & key F12 is a symptom of the motherboard

failure.  The solution is to change the motherboard.

My computer came with a warranty of 2 years, but the computer was 2.5 years old, so it was out of warranty.

After some negotiations on the price, HP has decided to fix the problem for $250, including shipping both ways.

It's less than a week back including delivery on time and I have the laptop back and it seems to work

Well now.  I have a 90 day warranty on the repair.  In the future, I'll be careful to always use a surge protector

    When it loads up.

  • Satellite L300 - 1AP PSLB8E starts not--a black screen and blinking cursor

    I have a Satellite L300-1AP model no PSLB8E.
While trying to do a system restore on it the screen became empty outside the slider, and that's how it remains.

I can switch off and restart it, will begin to start, then exactly the same thing happening.

    Plesae any ideas?

    > pressing the zero key "0" turn on the power, when you see a white bottom bar and hear a glance release the Zero key and it should start installation or reinstallation of your system

I doubt it will work because this function is NOT implemented on Toshiba notebooks European but as I know about the series of notebook Toshiba U.S.!

You can try to press the F8 key. An option called fix my computer should then be visible. Select it, then choose Toshiba HDD Recovery. Then a HARD drive recovery procedure must begin.

But if it of not possible to choose this option, and then you take your recovery disk and must try to boot from it.
If you don t have a recovery disk, and then use a CD of original installation MS windows, or you can order a new disc of recovery from here:

  • Dell XPS 8500 - start not at all - motherboard problems?

I have a Dell XPS 8500 I bought in January of 2013 and of course, is now out of warranty. I have not had too many problems with the pc, but last week, I was copying some video files on the SD card in the card on the hard disk drive. My wife told me that supper was ready, so I left the system to finish copying the video files on the HARD drive and ate with my family.

After we finished eating, I went back in the Office to discover that my computer was turned off. I tried to turn it back on and got no answer to it at all. I held the power button down and still nothing. After unplugging all devices still do not get response. I unplugged the power cord that goes into the food and green on the back of that flickered as I unplugged and plugged in so I thought I had my problem properly diagnosed as a failure of the power supply. I ordered a replacement PSU and installed today but I'm still no response from the computer when you try to start it. I have all the cords of the PSU properly plugged into the HDD and the dvd player and the connector 24 pin to the motherboard as well as the connection of 4 pins so.

The ONLY answer I get when trying to turn on the computer is that the fan in the power supply and fan to the rear of the case against surges momentarily and return to the stop. They are not even a half of a revolution, and that's all I get.

Any suggestions would be wonderful! I wonder if it's a motherboard problem and if so, where to find a replacement motherboard. And if not the mobo, what else it could be.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
