Satellite P300-1AE - card upgrade memory
Hai,
I own a number of satellite P300-1AE PSPCCE-00K003BT.
The specifications of the product on the memory of this laptop are:
Standard: 4 096 (2 048 + 2 048) MB
Max at: 8 192 MB
Technology: DDR2 RAM (800 MHz)
I had the following problem:
I'm not able to find the specifications to improve my memory from 4 GB to 8 GB.
I have download some programs of + capital + for example, they said the follow-up:
My max memory is 4 GB
Installed current 4 GB
Places available: N.A.
DDR PC2-6400
("our system scanner could not make a complete match")
On every single site, I'm going to purchase memory upgrade like kingston or crucial... I can't find my P300 laptop-1AE between the other toshiba, I can't also chose a more general option for the P300.
Also on the toshiba site I found after a long search: 4 GB memory PC2 DDR2 (800 MHz), but then again... The P300 or more specific to my 1AE P300 is not in the list compatible models.
If at this point I got very confused which memory I need to buy to upgrade for a total of 8 GB of RAM... I don't want to waste money to buy the bad...
I even started to think that I could have more than 2 Bank for memory slots in my laptop? I started my BIOS and all he said was "total memory: 4 096 MB", so this has not helped me be...
If concrete...
Should I replace the cards of 2 x 2 GB (installed) 2 x 4 GB cards? or do I have to buy 2 x another 2 GB and put in 2 other still empty slots? Or do I only 2 slots?
If I solved this problem... those who do I need to install? What are the specs?
I hope that my question is not too complicated, I really hope someone can help out me!
Thanks in advance!

Hello
According to specification for laptop, your laptop can be upgraded up to 8 GB. Toshiba recommends the use of the 4 GB Ram module compatible with PA3670U-1M4G part number.
My advice to you is: buy high quality RAM and you will have no problem as a lot of other people who want to save money and report subsequent here on compatibility issues. You can check this thread and you will find that most of them have problems with the essential modules.
Buy RAM from Kingston of high quality and you will have no problems.

Satellite P300-161 - graphic upgrade
Hello. The graphics maintains not on my Toshiba Satellite P300-161 of the same after a clean reinstall of Windows. I'm looking to replace the graphics card from ATI Radeon Mobility HD 3470 (which is not soldered on the motherboard).
Can I rather upgrade or get a new card?
I'm asking this is because I had trouble finding exactly the same everywhere! Thanks in advance.
GPU upgrade is not supported so either you exchange the card or you have to search entire motherboard.

That means the POST (power on self-test) screen appears; 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM?
All memory is recognized in the BIOS?
If so, then the memory has been recognized correctly and Windows 7 64-bit should be able to use all 8 GB of RAM. -
Satellite A100 stops after upgrade memory
Consider me the thickie Pack 1... Not sure wot im talkin end but n e way...
Have a Satellite A100 570 (PSAA2E)...Tried several websites online lookin for memory upgrade. Did not have the witt to use the toshiba site... Eventually get to the point...
Ran the Diagnostics on laptop and sent module one needed.or so I thought... wrong 1 or 1 s I bought 2 x 1 G modules in order to 'double '...Got my money because they were not compatible with my system... something to do with the problems of density...
Tried company called OFFTEK... they seemed to know what they were talkin' about... I'm Offtek. at present one...200-pin 1.8V SoDimm PC2 - 4200 DDR2... but Toshiba recommended below...
1 GB memory DDR2 PC2-4300 (533 MHz)
Part number: PA3411U-2M1G
1024 MB (1 GB) memory PC2 - 4300 DDR2 (533 MHz)Theres an obvious difference... 4200 and 4300. But I'm not sure if there is a significant difference... or what it means
Update the bios to the version latest and basically put all that toshiba had to offer for this model...EVEREST ran and it recognizes the module 1 G but when I pull out the original 512 MB module, the laptop starts for about 3 seconds then stops...
This repeats about 5 times then fill stop...I don't like open the back cover too often but it's the 3rd module...
Don't know what is supposed to happen if the module works... IE launch message... dunno if windows recognizes module 1 G...
Would be - this bet safer to send Offtek module and stick with option of toshiba...Thanks in advance...

Satellite A500 - 1 GR - upgrade memory RAM but 3 GB of usable system memory
I have upgraded my laptop to 8 GB (2 * 4 GB) ram. A 64 bit version of Windows 7 shows that I have 8 GB of memory, but there are only 3 GB of usable system memory. How do I use the 8GB. My Bios version is 2.00. In the Bios, I have not found the option 'enable the memory remapping feature '.
This option doesn't exist in the BIOS and everything is controlled automatically. The BIOS update will not change.
As much as I know about laptops Toshiba you cannot force for laptop to use a set amount of RAM. -

FischHello
According to the specifications of the laptop you can upgrade your laptop up to 32 GB.
Compatible RAM modules followed part numbers:
4 GB DDR3-1600-PA5037U-1M4G
8 GB DDR3-1600-PA5037U-1M8GI highly recommend to use these compatible modules tested and 100%. I have very good experience with the modules of Kingston. They cost a little more, but they are recognized correctly and function without any problems.
Use the reference numbers and check the specifications and prices. -
Satellite L450D - 13 X - upgrade memory, move from Win7 32 bit to 64 bit
Hello
IM new to this forum and need help. I have the laptop mentioned above and wish to update the memory, but I have not the slightest idea of what type to buy. When I checked the specifications of the laptop, that's what he said; "
Standard system memory: 2 048 MB
maximum extension: 8 192 MB
technology: DDR2 RAM (800 MHz)Is someone can you please tell me what this means?
Also how one I would go to switch from windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit. Would really appreciate someones help on that.
Thank youThis means that your laptop works with 2 GB of RAM. You can extend to 8GB and make faster and better. I ve checked specification and found the info you can use 2 x 4 GB for a maximum amount of RAM. Compatible 4 GB of RAM has PA3670U-1M4G part number.
Click on the part number to order new modules.I ve also checked download page of Toshiba on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp and your laptop is fully supported for Win7 64 bit. With other words, you need to install own Win7 64 bit version on your laptop. After having done that, you need to install all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities one by one.
We can help you with this.

Re: Satellite P300-1AE - port SATA speed
Hello
I have wonderd what sata port speed is on my laptop for a possible upgrade to an ssd.
I know that the chipset is able to use 3 Gbit/S, but I've also read that some company limited the seed to 1.5 Gbps for the extended battery life.
Given that drives hard base provided with the laptop are 1.5 GB/S, I was wondering if it was capped too?Greetings
FlufsorTry a scanner system such as [http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/] and see what ssd is recommended.

Acer 8572G - 6647 card upgrade memory
I've had this computer for 2 or 3 years, and I would say that it is finally slowing down. I would say that I am a user of power but very ill, but I think that my patience is wearing thin. So I'll add a ssd and some more memory.
Where can I find specifications maximum memory for my computer? I looked on Acer for the user guide and all they had was a GUG (essentially, a guide to the general user for all of the companions).
The sheet I have on the label next to me is:
Intel core i5 - 480 M (2.66 Ghz, 3 MB L3 cache)
4 GB of DDR3 memory
Maybe it's the motherboard: http://ark.intel.com/products/52952/Intel-Core-i5-480M-Processor-3M-Cache-2_66-GHz
If I wanted to go the maximum memory that my little beastie will take what I'd buy?
Hello Connie,.
For TravelMate 8572 G-6647 (OS-64-bit):

Satellite P300-1EI (PSPCCE) - how to allocate more memory to the graphics card?
Hello
I have a laptop toshiba satellite P300 with this graphics card: ATI mobility radeon HD 3650.
I want to allocate more memory for this graphics card. How could I do?I can't do this in my bios, I don't have this option...
Another way?
Hello
Something like that is not possible because the graphics card driver it controls automatically.
If the graphics card would need more graphics memory then the driver assigns the amount of necessary RAM automatically. -
Satellite P300 - 133 WiFi card - upgrade to N
Hello
My laptop Satellite P300-133 was delivered with a WiFi Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card.
It has facilitated access to the PC card.I have acquired a new worthy of the N standard wireless router.
It works very well with existing under the standard G laptop card.
New Satellite P300 models are standard h.I would like to know if there is a map for the Satellite P300-133 that I can use to replace the original card for laptop with a corresponding also to the N standard.
Thank you
Hello
It is has some network cards wireless standard 802.11 Draft N but also as far as I know the project WLan N needs 3-wire antenna.
The other WLan standards such as 802.11 A, B or G need 2 antenna son and I imagine that the laptop has been delivered with 2 wired antenna and therefore the Draft N will not work in your notebook.
However, you can try some external wireless network cards that would favour the Draft N
Welcome them

Satellite P300 - how to insert a memory stick?
Sorry my bad English, but I need help with my 5 in 1 card reader.
In the manual of my Satellite P300 stand that I use:
SD, SDHC, MMC, MEMORY STICK (PRO) cards and xD.I think, means 5 in 1 - is 1 slot for the whole of this map. is it wrong? My laptop have 1 location for these cards.
I have no problem to insert an SD card in, but a MEMORY STICK card is a smaller format.
Is there a special adapter? What do I insert the MEMORY STICK in this machine slot?THX
Hello!
Yes, 5 to 1 means that, in this card reader, you can use these 5 different memory cards.
I n t have a memory stick but normally it of pretty easy to insert. In my opinion, not useful to insert the card in the middle of the slot. But be careful and do not force.
Check it!Furthermore, memory stick duo/Pro duo are not compatible. Make sure that normal memory.
Good bye

Question about upgrading memory Satellite M55-S1001
can you please recommend what to do? I want to make my satellite m55-s1001 run faster please let me know, what do you recommend: 512 MB or 1 GB of memory? I'm not familiar with updates so please help!
Hello
First of all, if you want to go for fastest laptop, you should start with simple things.
Try to defragment the disk, turn off the background process is not necessary, etc.
Upgrade memory will the powerful laptop and of course a lot more quickly. To my knowledge the Satellite M55 should support the bars of memory 2 x 1024MB, and I also recommend the use of 1024MB instead of 512 MB module.

Upgrade of Windows 8 on Satellite P300 - possible?
I want my P300 upgrade to windows 8. Is it possible and easy to do?
Thank you.
Yes, it is possible to install Win 8 but as Satellite P300 is not part of the Win8 laptop models supported, you will not find to win 8 drivers.
You will need to search for and collect these drivers with your own hands
While this may be a little problem but its certainly possible to use Win 8recommend checkign this pages:
