Satellite P300: Error BSOD STOP: c0000139 {entry point not found}

I had this error a few weeks on my Toshiba P300.
When I start my laptop it appears a blue screen with an error for a fraction of a second:

STOP: c0000139 {entry point not found}
The procedure entry point ntoskrnl. ExiAcquireFastMutex is not found in the library of dynamic links Hal.dll.

Then normal startup of Windows Vista.
I get this error when I start the computer from the Hibernate mode. What does this error mean?

I also have problems with my built-in webcam. I get the message: "locked by another application." I already reinstalled the software I downloaded from the site, but that did not help. The error has something to do with the webcam this doenst work properly?

I put t know what can be the problem, but you must use restore system and OS rollback to an earlier time before this error message.

    Hi Ad-HocHelp,

    (1) since when are you facing this problem?

    (2) remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Step 2: Run the Startup Repair tool, follow the steps mentioned in the link below to access the system recovery tools.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    Method 1:

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 2:

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

  • 32-bit installation issues - Vista Entry Point not found error

I'm doing a clean install of Windows Vista 32 Bit in Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4). When the installation asks you which drive I would install windows for, as I have Sata drives running of a Sata/RAID controller card he asked pilots. Any version of this driver, I offer for this installation fails with the following error "Windows Installer: setup.exe - Entry Point not found - the procedure entry point LZClose could not be found in KERNEL32.dll dynamic link library ' I have a Silicon Image Sil 3513 SATALink PCI controller that manages my hard drives. The same drivers worked well to install Windows 2000. As I upgrade to Vista version I can only run through the windows so I could not try and see if it will install directly from DOS.

    Thank you

    James

Found a solution. I use the Windows Vista upgrade version & thus tried to install through Windows 2000. However Win 2 k interfaces drives in a different mode of Vista, while he was in conflict. I solved the problem by installing Vista via the bootable disc.

Now just to find the compatible drivers for my asus motherboard and aircraft... Grrrr I'm sure I got this Vista computer previously without all these headaches...

  • -Pop-up message error when I start my computer: "TVAgent.exe - Entry Point not found".

When I start my computer, the first message when I see my desktop is a pop up that says "TVAgent.exe - entry not found.» The procedure entry point not found PowerReadACValues in the dynamic library POWRPROF.dll. "I try to close it and it appears in the same as spot 10 times and then finally I can close it and it will not reappear. I tried a full sweep of the computer with Norton and it did not come with anything. All my programs and all seem to work fine right after, but I fear that there is something wrong. I am running Windows Vista.

    Hi Csiew42,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

    ·         Which version of Windows Vista is installed on your computer?
    ·         Remember to make changes to the computer recently?
    ·         Who is the manufacturer of your computer?

I suggest to perform the clean boot and check if you get the error again. Clean boot will start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

The following link has steps showing how to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

    (1) perform the clean boot (check the link to perform the clean boot).

    (2) enable half the services.

    (3) determine if the problem comes back.

    (4) enable half of the startup items.

    (5) determine if the problem comes back.

    (6) repeat the steps above until you discover which program or service is causing the problem.

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

Note: Please make sure that the computer is configured to start as usual according to step 7 of the article: how to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

    Hi Patricia,

    Please contact the Microsoft Community.

Which game you try to play?

I would have you try and re-install the game and check.

In addition, I'd like to as you open the prompt in elevated mode and then try and register the DLL by using this command:

Regsvr32 write the name of the DLL file.

  • Photoshop Entry Point not found

I get this message and my Photoshop CC 2014 does not open.  "Photoshop.exe - Entry Point not found the procedure entry point _crtCreateSymbolicLinkW could not be found in the C:/Windows/System32/MSVCP110.dll dynamic link library" I already talked to a technician who had me go back to the Version 15 of 15.2.  That did not work.  Any ideas what to do.

    Thank you.

    Barbara Firestone

A follow-up on this point - that typed by my son who has worked on my computer to fix Photoshop.

It seems that the current version of CC uses Microsoft Visual C 2012 (VC2012) and not 2010.  "I initially fixed this problem by following the advice I found at Photoshop CC (2014) fails to start (0xc000007b)" Timeclub . I uninstalled VC2012 x 86 and x 64, delete the two files (msvcp110.dll & msvcr110.dll) and rebooted the machine. Once started, I reinstalled the two VC2012, and everything looked good.  The Photoshop 2014 and 2015 Lightroom started perfectly.  Fortunately, I stopped and sent the computer at home.

Unfortunately, upon restart, the question was back.  This time, instead of uninstall and remove all over again, I opened the "programs and features" Control Panel (Add/Remove programs for those who still use Windows XP) and right clicked at the entrance, 'change' (repair in older versions of Windows).  I ran the change to the x 64 and x 86 versions of VC2012 and (as requested by the Installer) rebooted the machine - a-interesting note, when I uninstalled (and reinstalled) VC2012, in the first race, I was not asked to restart.  So far, through several reboots, both PS2014 that LR2015 once more work.

I will revisit this thread if the problem comes back.

  • NImax.exe entry point not found TDMS_GetDataValueEx in cviTDMS.dll

I have a remote PXI-8108 and I am trying to create a task in MAX.  I have no other task, because this is my first attempt to create a.  The following sequence is executed on the remote system: left click on the PXI-6713 under ' devices OR-DAQmx '--> the task of creating--> trigger signal--> analog output--> voltage--> ao0--> name by default 'MyVoltageOutTask'--> click on "Finish".

An entry Point not found error called "NIMax.exe -" window appears with the following message: the TDMS_GetDataValuesEx procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library cviTDMS.dll.

The only option is to click on 'OK', date at which the box reappears constantly.  the only way to get rid of it is to kill MAX in the windows Task Manager.  When I restart MAX, district data remote system has broken below task and clicking on it locks up program (a need to kill another in windows Task Manager).  The only way to get rid of it is to reset the distance the DAQmx system setup and start again.

I reinstalled NIDAQ 8.9.0, reset the configuration of the remote system in MAX, set day/reinstall all the software on the remote system (so that it matches the host system).  don't know what else to try.  I think that this should be a basic step: I did a lot of times with features simulated on a host system.  Not sure why the remote system gives me problems.

I was able to do this on a controller of 8196 DAQmx 9.0 on the regulator and my computer having 8.9.5 smoothly.  Upgrade to 8.9.5 9.0 or even should update MAX and hopefully get rid of what you see.  You are right that the host and the controller must have the same driver version so make sure that you update the two together.  It is quite strange that the error is the link to a DLL of LabWindows/CVI.  Do you use a RT CVI on the controller?
