  When I start my Satellite 5105 - S702 laptop with the v8.4.0.24 of antivirus from Computer Associates (CA) software is turned on, I get the following at the end of the boot process error message:

  I agree with you.
  In my view the installed (CA) anti-virus software is not fully compatible with the Toshiba Hotkey Utility or the software anti-virus doesn't recognize properly and can not handle.

  CA anti-virus does not for me but maybe you could set some parameters to ignore the Hotkey Utility from Toshiba.

  Maybe it helps if not I recommend you contact Computer Associates support team.

  I have hands on development of the process. So I started to create a custom activity.

  I created an activity that takes input and gives a string after some calculations. But the program requires additional jar files that are included in the lib folder in my java project.

  I exported java project as a jar file and installed successfully in the workbench. But then that starts the component... get the error like:

  Put the jar into the lib of the appserver folder is a way to get the class when running, but not all sites will let you do this because you simply put at the disposal of all works on the appserver.  In addition, now that you move your dsc to test to staging to production, you must remember to move the jar as well.

  The alternative is to include the jar in your DSC and referencing it in the classpath of node in the component.xml file.

  Just cash how the DSCs distributed it (adobe-remoteevents-dsc Watch 2 pots to the package root and both are referenced in the classpath of the component.xml.

  I bought a new laptop of toshiba 1 year ago and had no problems so far. My laptop started to slow down, becoming a reagent and the fan is constantly. then my laptop decided to crash and I have to restart.   Theoretically, it could be a malfunction of the recovery disc you've already written but I don't know until now, I never had a problem with the recovery disk so that I can t m say many things about it.

  In any case, try to clean the disc using a microfibre cloth and the lens of the CD/DVD drive. Maybe the disc can t be read due to dust a little then it s worth a try. ;)

  If this isn't the case, you can test the Windows installation with a common Microsoft Windows disk. All the drivers and tools are placed on the Toshiba page and can be downloaded for free. Of course, that it takes a little more time and it of more complicated than recovery disk, but it s an option.

  NTOSKRNL is a software, and it must be there for the machine to start.  The recovery discs should fix this.

  You hear your message said something about rpcrt4.dll?  It is important to relay the exact message you see.

  Please provide additional information on your system:

  What is your system brand and model?

  What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

  The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

  The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

  You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

  You use some CD to access this Panel of Microsoft recovery where this "no profile" option is?  I don't know what all this means if it isn't some CD shipped with your system, in which case, I would use it for a coaster instead of something to fix your system.

  If the c:\windows\system32\rpcrt4.dll file is missing or afflicted, you do not start in the last good known Configuration.

  You also will not start in any kind of Mode safe no more.

  Even if you could boot mode safe, you would find that sfc/scannow does not work in Mode without failure in all cases (never).  If you try it, you'll see a message like this:

  Windows file protection could not initiate a scan of protected system files.

  The specific error code is 0x000006ba [the RPC server is unavailable.].

  Failed to start the RPC mode server safe either.

  I can't recreate your error exactly, but it is easy to replace the rpcrt4.dll file.  Looks like you have a working CD drive, so put yourself a Hiren boot CD and when you started on this, you can copy your precious files to a USB device for safety.

  There should be a backup copy of rpcrt4.dll already on your system, here or here:

  c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

  c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

  You need to rename or replace the rpcrt4.dll file which is in c:\windows\system32 and replace it with one you will find the backup copies.
