Satellite P305D-S8828 keyboard missing my typing and FN + F9 does not work

Hello everyone.

I'm new on this forum. Im sorry for my bad English right now. I hope I can explain my problems.
I just bought a laptop computer to the United States with a great price. It's a great laptop, but there are 2 problems and they have big problems of r for me.
It's Toshiba Satalite P305D-S8828 which is not available in europe, only sell in the United States.

Laptop keyboard seems kind and gentle and good typing, but especially on a msn messenger box or forum page response, when I type, he's missing part of my typings? I mean, I used to use my quick keyboard, but it's like he's not pressing all the buttons, but I really rely on the letters. So the things I write are mixed, not understandable cos of lack of the letters.

This isn't my first laptop. I used a bit more before, but nothing like this has happened before.
It doesn't always happen, but generally occurs.
I don't know what to do and this really do my head.
I use Vista Ultimate Turkish. Don't you think that it is an OS problem? Or maybe the bios? More later (v1.90) I heard the same problem happened to some Fujitsu Siemens laptops, but it has been resolved with a bios upgrade. I hope you understand my problem and someone help me.

My second problem is that my FN + F9 (function key) does not work. But some of them work, like FN + F1, FN + F2, FN + F3... work but FN + F9 does NOT work? :(
I want to disable the touchpad when I plug my usb mouse, but I can't do it using FN + F9. My touchpad driver is installed and my OS is Vista Ultimate. Could you help me for that too?

I hope that answering my questions.
Thank you now
all the loves of Turkey
EMRAH

Go to the Toshiba site us and download the latest version of the BIOS. Having the latest version of the BIOS is important on the new models.

For the issue of the Touchpad, download and install the latest package of added value for the P305D and reinstall the driver from the Touchpad.
If you have installed the drivers for your mouse USB (for example drivers Logitech or Microsoft), remove them. They may be in conflict with the Touchpad
