Satellite P50 - B - 11 L - update Win 8.1 Pro to win 10 home

Hello

I bought my computer toshiba laptop P50B11L with win8.1 pre Pro is installed and I've updated to win 10.

After doing now confirm that my version of win10 is the House.

According to Microsoft, the update would maintain the same version, but the left to have the Pro version for a House version.

I am not happy with this decision by microsoft, can someone help me?

Are you sure that your laptop has been pre-installed with Windows 8.1 Pro ?

I guess it was Windows 8.1 as mentioned on the product page of Toshiba.

With 8.1 Microsoft Windows allows the upgrade to win 10 Home as stated in the attachment

    You can buy a Microsoft Upgrade.
    But to be honest, that I recommend to buy a full version of Win 7 Ultimate and do a clean install.

    The advantage is that you could install this without early installation of Win 7 Home premium.
    For example; If you purchase an upgrade you will need to first install Home Premium and you need to improve this OS to ultimate. This can be annoying if anything goes wrong with OS and you need to install it again
    If you buy a ultimate full version, then you can install this OS immediately and directly without having to install Home Premium first.

    PS: the drivers are the same for Home Premium and Ultimate.

  • Satellite P50-A-144 - FN + z key does not work after update Win8.1

    a couple of months ago with windows 8, which became 8.1 with w. update, I bought PC toshiba laptop SATELLITE P50-A-144.
    Since then, fn + z key does not work, it says that light keyboard turns off whenver I press it.

    How could I solve this problem? It's my OCD tingle.

    Strange. Something like that shouldn't happen. I updated my machine, but everything works fine.

    I own a Toshiba Satellite P50-A-12PBE, and I've been waiting a while for Windows 10 now. According to this page, Windows 10 will be released November 15 for my laptop. How is it, I have not seen any possibility to upgrade yet? I have run all the updates of Windows (mandatory + optional) and have booked the upgrade of Windows 10.
    I know that I can force the upgrade. I want to receive good sense that in a normal life, and I was wondering why I have not yet.

    Try to update the message as the BIOS readings not to laptop. German hotline said that it will be good. Ask a BIOS to install it with the BACK, they say - back is not available.
