    Hello

Today, I wanted to do recovery USB stick with Toshiba Recovery Media Creator. To this end, I bought 16 GB 3 / 10 MB/key Verbatim s.

I tried several times without success. Whenever I tried a Toshiba Recovery Media Creator noticed the error: * 040E2D-00-00000000 error code *... or nothing happened. I put in another new 16 GB USB 3 / 10 MB/s and the same thing happened.

After that, I tried the third USB I had - Corsair 32 GB USB 3.0. And it worked: I did successfully recovery USB key, but this key that I use for other things...

Then I continued with 16 GB Verbatim key. After a few tests more Toshiba Recovery Media Creator noticed "* no HDD Recovery area" * and after that I could do nothing. ".

    * What should I do now? * I think I did not ' do anything bad, just tried data recovery in the key of 16 GB. The only thing I did is this button formats formatting (with disk management... because after all the computers of the trial has not yet identified key...).

    Hello

It is not easy to say what the problem is here. The fact is that recovery image is marked with specific markers that can be found in Toshiba Recovery Media Creator. When the creator find these markers application starts correctly and recovery media can be created.
I can't tell what the problem is here.
    > After that, I tried the third USB I had - Corsair 32 GB USB 3.0. And it worked: I did successfully recovery USB key, but this key that I use for other things...
This sentence confused me. You have successfully recovery USB key created or not?

By the way: try to start the HARD drive recovery facility to see if the same message again.

  • Re: Toshiba Recovery Media Creator - no HDD Recovery area

Hi friends, I bought a new Toshiba Kirabook PSU8SA-00V00U, a few months ago. I wanted to create emergency recovery disks, but whenever I start Toshiba Recovery Media Creator, it comes with a message that HARD drive recovery area undetected.

Then I tried running the recovery environment by pressing 0 at the beginning upward.
It comes with a blue screen saying that can not load from the recovery partition.

I checked with Paragon Hard Disk Partition Manager software that the recovery drive is available.

How do I make a recovery media or connect this HDD in system recovery so that Toshiba Recovery Media Creator detects the recovery disk and made recovery media. If in the future, if I want to reset the PC to factory settings, it will be even coming up with a blue screen saying that it can not load the recovery environment.

    Any help will be appreciated!

    Hello

Fact is that the installation of image recovery or recovery media creation works if the machine has only factory settings. In other words, everything must be in original condition without any changes. With the changes I mean, original OS must be installed and the structure of the partitions of HARD drive should not be changed.

If you try to change HARD drive partitions original structure the system in general, or Toshiba recovery media creator, will be confused and will not be able to find what we call markers which provide information on the exact location on the HARD disk where the recovery image is placed or registered.

Did you do something that might be responsible for this situation?

    Hello

    > 1. Once I replaced the hard drive (I bought the same exact model reader) can I use recovery on it support to set up as if it were to return to the factory settings?
Yes, you must use the recovery disk and it s recommended to use this support to put the laptop back to factory settings.

    > 2. Product key of Windows 8 is not anywhere on the laptop box and I have not received an email from windows when I bought the laptop. Will it take this product key when you use the recovery on the new hard disk media and if yes, how can I find it?
Windows system on the recovery media is already enabled and you do not have to put or insert the serial key to activate the system.

This is my second attempt at recovery using the hidden picture. The first attempt, attached to a previous point of loading Windows 7 ;( However, during this attempt, he was more than an hour on the screen "Setup starts services" with a light moving under it.

Does anyone have a reasonable idea how long it takes to treat? Thanks in advance.

Have you thought about an SSD instead of HARD drive?
I replaced the HARD drive with an SSD and I must say that I wasn't expecting these excellent performance...
The SSD is much better that a HARD drive and you will be really satisfied with the performance of the SSD

  • Satellite L50 - Has: Toshiba HDD recovery does not

I want to drive HARD for Windows 10 recovery, I put all my files on other partitions, I was hoping to see & do "recover without changing the hard drive partitions", but when I turned on my PC and now at 0, it did not open any software TOSHIBA recovery...

I do not have the boot on this screen settings button... And image recovery system application that I use the windows installation DVD...

BTW I have the partition recovery on this computer:

As I see you did a typical mistake as many other people.
When you get the new notebook with the original version of the OS and before starting to do some experiments you do backup recovery image and create media recovery (DVD or USB).

If a problem occurs, you can use this support and install original recovery image. You say that your laptop is now in ruins. Yes, you're probably right about that. After the original upgrade win recovery options will be overwritten and disk HARD recovery option is not possible.

Your only mistake was that you did not backup recovery image.
Now, all you can do is contact Toshiba and order original recovery media. You can do so under the https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

    Hello

Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator is a tool of Toshiba that created the recovery disk available on HARD drive recovery image.
It s NOT support tool like Ghost, etc. that allows you to create an image of your operating system preinstalled.
If the Toshiba Recovery files are not available on the HARD drive then the Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator will not work!

  • Satellite P500 - Solution how to operate sound on XP 32-bit and 64-bit

    Hi all..
Now, I write here how I did something that seems impossible...
I mean sound running on a computer satellite phone / qosmio p500/505 300/500
and other models with Conexant sound card high definition on x 32 / x 64 Windows XP sp2/sp3...
I know that many of us have a problem to run any noise at all,
the fundamental problem is that Windows XP doesn't have a built-in driver files
are responsible for the recognition of the last sound based on the high-definition audio cards.
Latest patch for kb888111 system published by Microsoft to address this issue was published in 2005
and does not appear in the files that recognize the latest Conexant sound card.

next problem is the correct driver. Toshiba has not released XP drivers for the card its Conexant
for computer laptop qosmio / satellite 500 / 505, so you should find and use the drivers supplied by
the manufacturers of other computer models. most of the pilots and the best have to download Lenovo and Dell.
Personally I used to run the sound in my P500 drivers downloaded from the web site of Dell
more important in the downloaded drivers, then to install is to edit. INF file that is located in the folder
with the drivers. This file is a textfile and then edit it in Notepad.
Edition. INF file is trolling in the path to the identification of our equipment.
Hardware ID can be found for example in the Device Manager tab in the detroit, video controllers and games.
for most new toshiba laptop hardware id is:

    %HdAudioFunctionDriver.Pebble5071.DeviceDesc% = HdAudModel, HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_14F1 & DEV_5069 & SUBSY S_1179FFD4

but it can vary so please check it on your computer!

Those who have managed to run the sound will certainly have to deal with another problem,
After restarting the computer no sound and the computer loses the drivers and settings
and next to the watch does not appear on the "speaker" icon. This problem is also resolved by me below.

    Now to work...
I assume that you have already installed XP x 32 or x 64, but not yet executed a sound.
to run the sound, install the chipset driver, then the kb888111 patch.
    If all goes well,
the devices of the system device manager tab you should found 2 entries "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio".
where are these 2 entries, click on each of them, right click and select "update driver".
then you select "install from a list or specific location" and point to the location where you saved the
files that you have downloaded from the link n ° 1
Don't FORGET not to confuse it and do not try to update the x 32 system using file system designed for X 64 and vice versa
When we updated the system should automatically detect the sound card in Device Manager should be of about
5 points to mark yellow, four belong to Nvidia and one for the Conexant High Definition Audio HD audio.
Now, install the driver from the Nvidia graphics card that contains the audio driver. After the restart of the installation
After the computer restarts. Enter the Device Manager and it is more 5 yellow question mark points,
is the only one this one belongs to map its Conexant, make right click on this one in yellow and
Select 'update driver' and select 'install from a list or specific location ".
and point to the location where you saved the files that you downloaded from the link n ° 2
pointing hand and force the installation of driver. After installation, you enjoy the sounds.
Don't FORGET not to confuse it and do not try to update the x 32 system using file system designed for X 64 and vice versa

link n ° 2, includes the drivers that I have edited and I use myself
in my Toshiba Satellite P500 - 1 CG. What are the drivers for XP x 32 and x 64 sp2/sp3

  • Satellite P500 overheats constantly all game

I had the laptop for about 3 months now and for the last 6 weeks, he was constantly overheating.
I brush the air vents to get rid of the dust, but it doesn't seem to help.

The temperature will constantly be at 47%, then suddenly it will overheat after about 30 min of play.
Also, I never hear any sign that the fan is going faster.

    Can someone please.
I have to do something or should I just put up with every half hour of brushing to fans?

    Hey Buddy,

What games can you play on your new Satellite P500?
By the way: are you satisfied with this laptop? I also think of buying a Satellite P500 for home use. It seems to be interesting for this because it has a large screen and a keyboard with numeric keypad.

Anyway, if you have installed another display driver remove and install the driver display Toshiba directly. They are pre-tested and don't overheat your laptop.

What operating system and the BIOS you have installed?

  • Satellite L650-12 q - Toshiba HDD Recovery does not

    Toshiba Satellite L650-12 q
    Windows 7 64 bit

I am looking to re - install Windows using the Toshiba HDD Recovery software on my hard drive to restore the computer to factory settings.
I followed the procedure to do this in the System Recovery Options, but received the following message is displayed:

"The recovery of the operating system is impossible!
Not found the HDD Recovery folder on the second disc of the first hard drive. There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer. »

    More details:
Before you do the above, I supported the system and the files and folders using AOMEI Backupper. I then made the mistake of the merger of C: D: and E: partitions, E: contained HDDR files.

After having tried the recovery above and receive the above message, I reinstalled the file system I had saved on an external hard drive, which resulted in a copy of the drive C: and E: drive with HDDR files.
Unfortunately, when I tried to recover the operating system, the same message appeared.

Then I tried to use a system restore disc, I had created a few weeks ago, but concluded that, for some reason that CD is empty.

The good news is that the computer still works - slowly - and HDDR files seem to be still there, but for some reason, inaccessible.

What are my options? I want to go back to initial factory settings so that I can go back and re-install the programs and files that I want to. (I backed up all my files and have records of installation for programs).

If the worst comes to the worst and I have to buy a Windows 7 disc (if that's even possible - I don't want Windows 8), it would be possible to install on this computer and it would give me a clean install, without any of the garbage which is currently cluttering up my computer?

Thank you for reading, and I would be grateful for any advice you can offer.

In your case, the situation is clear: HARD drive recovery facility does not work?
If you want to have the laptop with the settings you have an option only: for recovery image installation you must use the installation of recovery disc.

If I understand right you don t, entitled?
But you can order it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

If you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask.

    Hello
    are how you today

    I own a toshiba Satellite L755.
I have recently upgraded to windows 7 to windows 8, and now I do not have windows 8. I want to go back to windows 7.

Many people say that it is possible using the HDD Recovery folder that I have on my D drive and it s 13.5 GB.

What I need is to know if its possible and if you can you explain to me how its done.

I searched the Web for an answer for tha last 4 hours and I thank you

    > Many people say that it is possible using the HDD Recovery folder that I have on my D drive and it s 13.5 GB

A lot of people said you can use HARD drive recovery in order to put the system back to factory settings.
This true s but this is possible ONLY if the system has not been modified.

In case you have changed the system, you could go back to the factory settings using the recovery disk!
Recovery disk may be created using the preinstalled tool called Toshiba Recovery Media Creator.

Have you created this disc in the past!

  • Satellite L500-1XC HDD Recovery help

Hi I have a Satellite L500-1XC of second hand, the former owner has installed Ubuntu (which I can't access because of password) as well as windows 7 and I try restore laptop to factory settings, but I just don't know how.

I tried to turn it off and holding, then 0 and pressing the Start button. On the bottom of the home screen says HDD Recovery at the bottom left of the screen, but after that, he just the part of the selection for me to choose Ubuntu or Windows 7 and then just charge the laptop as usual.

I tried to get the Recovery Media Creator, but I'm not. It seems that a lot of original Toshiba Utilities and supports have been removed.

If anyone can help me fix this laptop, I'd be so grateful that I can not really afford to buy a Toshiba Recovery disk.

    Thank you

    > I'm trying to restore the laptop to factory settings, but I just don't know how
I put t I think that HARD drive recovery would work because Linux has been installed on the HARD drive and I think that the partition table has been changed.
This might be the reason why the HDD recovery isn't working.

You can always see this Toshiba document that describes the whole HARD drive recovery procedure:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD1303440001R01.htm

So now, drive HARD recovery does not work in this case, you can only use the installation disc.
You can try to install Windows 7 using the Microsoft disk (Toshiba drivers are downloadable) or you order the disc of Arvato:
    http://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx
