Satellite P750-13N starts slowly

Hello

I bought a new computer for my birthday earlier in the month. I installed all my software and transferred all my data from my old laptop and I noticed after a week or so that the start-up is time consuming.

Basically, once that windows loads, theres a circle over the wireless icon and it seems to take ages to locate my wireless network. I try to load firefox, but it dosnt open for at least 5 minutes, and nothing responds for about 4 or 5 minutes.

I tried to do a clean boot, and although it seemed better, I can't seem to locate the problem. I uninstalled AVG and tried to uninstall most of the bloatware without success. If I do a clean install, it will be the second time I did and I really don't want to go that route.

Can someone tell what could be wrong with my laptop.

The sysinfo are:

Hello

Your laptop starts slowly because your system loads a lot of junk at the beginning.
First of all, I recommend turning off some process that would be loaded while the laptop starts.

Launch msconfig (in the search type msconfig) and go to the Startup tab.

Now you can uncheck certain processes is not necessary.
I would like to disable all Apple processes... they don t had to be loaded at the beginning

+ C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\distnoted.exe +
+ C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\APSDaemon.exe +
+ C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe+
+ C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Internet Services\ubd.exe +.
+ C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Internet Services\iCloudServices.exe +.

Also turn off steam.exe

After restarting again uncontrolled processes should not be loaded

As a download after the CCLeaner, install this and clean the system and the registry using this tool.

When I press the 'power' button, it flashes, starts the fans and HARD drive several times. Then it shows BIOS start messages by memory full 768 MB and starts Windows XP without a problem.

    Hello

This problem appears before upgrade memory?
Have you used exactly the same memory modules?
If this isn't the case, then perhaps there are a few compatibility issues.

Usually, after the insertion of the modules you must enter the BIOS and then save the settings. Please it and eventually the laptop will start without any problems.

    Hello

I used my laptop Satellite P750 on its default settings because I brought and until now that has been very well.

I use it mainly for games and now some of the more recent games have a hard run Shading.
I used * www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri * and he told me that I should be able to run most of these games without any problem.

I checked my specs in dxdiag and noticed that it seems to be using the integrated graphics card Intel rather than the Nvidia Geforce GT540M map. I tried which helps the card in the Device Manager and disable the Intel graphics card, but the resolution has dropped drastically and dxdiag says there is now no graphics support found.

I did something wrong or do you think that there is a problem with the laptop?

  • Satellite P750-114 - starting problems

I have a Toshiba P750-114 laptop which does not initialize battery at all and will only boot from AC if it was first disconnected and I ve pressed the button for a few seconds to clear the residual charge.

If I try to restart of sleep/hibernate, or even stop but left the supply cable from when it was already running, I get only the power LED and the fan is running, screen stays black.
If I remove the power, press the power button, power adapter supported then press the power button, it will start and run again without any problem until its judgment.

I tried to turn it on with a different tested battery and power, but it apears to not make any difference.

I ve read that no display/fan & power work was a sign of failure of the motherboard so I had checked it by a laptop repair shop / local PC (as the laptop is not under warranty) who found the Ribbon of touch panel was apparently causing a spark and that has been fixed, but they didn t find something else and that fix hasn t has really changed anything in what concerns start the laptop.

The laptop is running Windows 7 family and has very few programs installed, but all software is geniune.

I would really like to know what causes the problem because even though I can start it every time very well following the off unplug power on in-feed-ins on routine, I want to know if I'm just prolong the inevitable collapse or is it ok/fixable?

Thank you all for any help you can give.

    > I'd really like to know what causes the problem because even though I can start it every time very well following the off unplug power on in-feed-ins on routine, I want to know if I'm just prolong the inevitable collapse or is it ok/fixable?

I think if the guys at repair shop could not say exactly what is causing this problem, I doubt someone here in the forum would be able to provide a notice of right to 100% on this issue.

It is not battery or AC adapter problem.
Another part seems to be affected. There is not a lot of parts that could cause issues such as: RAM or motherboard are for most of the parts that might cause strange problems for laptop.

P750 isn't very old series, so guarantee seems to be valid
I recommend you call a Toshiba authorized service center and explain exactly the problem. Maybe they could reproduce this

  • Re: P750-13N wrong display driver

    Hello

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite P750-13N. When I got the laptop, I put my recovery disk disk and down them. I have my setup of the laptop and the loan, but I noticed that I have view the drivers installed. The Nvidia driver and Intel HD family driver. The laptop seems to use the driver from the Intel HD family, despite the sticker on the front of the laptop, declaring that the notebook had a Nvidia Geforce 540 M graphics card.

I tried to disable the Intel drive in Device Manager, but I just get a black screen and the system information it says mty laptop has a graphics card intel.

Can anyone help? How can I get my laptop to use the nvidia driver and operate at full capacity. I even downloaded and re-installed the driver nvidia on the toshiba site, but it makes no difference. If I would have thought that the laptop has only had an Intel graphics card, I never would have bought in the first place, so for the moment, I am really disappointed.

    Any help appreciated.

    Concerning

    Rachel

According to specification for laptop, your laptop is originally shipped with WIN7 64 BITS HOME PREMIUM.
As far as I know once the first original preinstalled boot image will be installed and your laptop will be ready to use so I t understand you when say you when I got the laptop I put my recovery disk disk and down them.

How do you do when the new laptops are not delivered with the recovery disk, but with the preinstalled only recovery image?
    >... but I noticed that I have view the drivers installed.
That s as strange. Recovery image contains all the necessary drivers so I put t really understand what you are doing. Can you please explain this more detailed?

  • Satellite P750 stops at the start of the 1st time but then works great 2nd time

    Hello
My Satellite P750 always stops on the first time every day, but the 2nd boot works fine and no other problems...

I press the Start button and it runs for maybe 10-20 seconds then stops... She does both on battery or power outlet...

If I try to start again after that, it starts fine... sometimes, it gives the possibility to start in safe mode, or run the Startup Repair tool, but it always starts well and works normally...

I tried to start repair when the option was given, and it is immaterial that the next day, he does the same thing again...

Any advice appreciated, and Im a bit concerned that one day he did not start the second time...

The laptop is only around the age of 6 months and otherwise runs great...

    Thank you

    Hello

Recovery of the laptop back to factory settings.
You use the Win 8 or Win 7 system?

Usually, books Win 7 supports a HARD drive recovery by pressing F8-> fix my computer-> drive HARD recovery.

If the same problem appears on the right after the system has been recovered, I guess there is a hardware problem and a technician must check the hardware parts.

  • Satellite P750-135 - key FN and Blu - Ray player does not

OK so recently I've noticed a few problems with my Satellite P750-135 with PSAY3E-059002EN part number.

Not words, the button FN done any work, however when the Toshiba flash card settings are configured to enable the mouse above, the functions that I would normally use, for example FN + ESC to mute or FN + F6 to turn down the brightness, etc., the works of service.

The problem has occurred since the drivers updated by a program on my PC but I can not restore the system to a point where the driver has been updated. I uninstalled the driver and installed the driver from Toshiba Web site and tried countless other things without success. Any help would be appreciated.

As for my second question, a while back I tried to play a Blu - Ray movie on my laptop and it works as it is. The drive plays DVD but when a Blu - Ray drive is inserted, the drive whirs, the AutoPlay window opens with no program to read it.

I have tried opening the Corel to play it, but it does not work.
The drive in question works on my One Xbox and Playstation 3, and I've tried other discs that don't work.

    Any suggestions?

ccYou know that's not easy to say what the problem is here. When you get new notebook with the settings everything works and all the pre-installed drivers, tools and utilities work well together.
Many people install some updates which are not so important, and then something can go in the wrong direction.
    > The problem has occurred for a program on my PC updated drivers...
To be honest I don't know what program do you have average and exactly what has been updated.
In any case you can try to solve this problem of FN keys is to remove preinstalled Toshiba value added package, restart your computer and install the latest version of the Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Utility of flash cards is part of this package and I hope after installation of VAP own this will work properly again.

    Blu - Ray movie question:
BD BD to play drive before graphic driver will change color and switch to Win7 basic running drive Toshiba BD is not compatible with certain Visual elements. Have you noticed this in the past, this automatic switching between the color schemes?
Did you perhaps updated original display driver Toshiba?
    > I have tried opening the Corel to play it, but it does not work.
The very fact of start or not?
    This is a bit complicated.

  • Satellite P750 (PSAY1A) - How update the recovery partition?

Now that I found out that using the recovery on a new HARD drive would create the recovery Partition... comes the question... How do I update the recovery partition.

My Toshiba Satellite P750 (PSAY1A-01Y022) the factory settings has 132 update of Windows that should be applied during the first pass. I had to run Windows update 4 times before she shows "up-to-date". Not to mention drivers Toshiba as well.

I also want to include some applications (Microsoft Office and other software and utilities)...
Overall, I spent 2 days just to bring it t the State I want in.
But I can't just access the recovery Partition (of the less any of this!)

If you look at disk management, the recovery Partition is not a Volume name and that the file system is empty. If I right click on the recovery partition... all I see is "Help" Option

I tried to assign a drive by using Diskpart letter... but it doesn't show much.
My guess is that it is GBT/EUFI.

Does anyone have experience updating the recovery Partition?

    > Now that I found out that using the recovery on a new HARD drive would create the recovery Partition... comes the question... How do I update the recovery partition.

What do you mean by update recovery partition?
The recovery partition should NOT be touched!

In which case you'd change the partition, the HARD drive recovery process could not be started!

Probably, you have not understood the meaning of such a HARD drive recovery procedure.
It's the option provided by Toshiba and the recovery of HARD drive allows you to establish the notebook to factory settings; on the same State as at the first day of the purchase.

  • Satellite P750 PSAY1A: how to create the recovery Toshiba on the new HARD drive partition

    Hello

I have an old Toshiba Satellite P750 (PSAY1A-01Y022). I just upgraded my memory from 4 GB to 8 GB and am preparing to take my 500 GB HARD drive 1 TB. I had to order the disk online and wait to happen.

I always try to understand how to create the arrival of my new HARD drive Toshiba Recovery Partition. I do the same thing for an old book, I handled based on something similar to it's original factory State.

I have reflected on the recovery partition, but does not know how it was created. It is not NTFS. Does anyone have experience in the creation of a Toshiba Recovery on a new HARD drive Partition?

And the help is very appreciated.

    Thanks and regards,
    Dinesh

Recovery partition can be created when you use the original Toshiba Recovery disk and install recovery image. Before the partitions to boot OS install will be automatically created, recovery image copied on a recovery and then partition as last step recovery image installation starts.

A sort of migration of files from one to the other HARD disk is not solution.

Only for laptop with factory will work and the usable recovery partition.

The "Function keys" top line, naming Eco Mode button, WLAN button, program Start button, Play/Pause button, Mute button and Volume-/ + buttons stopped working a week ago. They light up correctly when starting the corresponding modes (e.g. Eco Mode lights up green when the Eco utility is in Eco mode by mouse) or when turning on keyboard backlight, but they do not react on the touch of the finger.

    Hello

The message looks like the laptop will not boot the disc.

The question is: is this a problem with the new recovery disks, or perhaps with Notepad

To be honest, I think his recovery disk problem, and maybe you will need contact the drive vendor to replace the recovery media.

    But before that, try this:
    Switch on and press F2.
Now you should be able to access the BIOS. Set the CD/DVD device in the first starting position here. Also, to clear the safe boot option from the UEFI CSM.
Now to boot from the recovery disc.

Would be interesting to know what is happening
