Satellite P850 - Bluetooth - wireless in same range of radio frequencies

Hello world

My laptop has received the following message for a while:

Devices Bluetooth (TM) and WirelessLAN function in the same radio frequency range and may interfere with each other.

If you use Bluetooth devices and WirelessLAN simultaneously, you can sometimes meet optimal network performance or even lose your network connection.

In this case, always stop using your Bluetooth or WirelessLAN.
Please contact Toshiba PC product support website
http://www.Toshiba-Europe.com/computers/TNT/Bluetooth.htm in Europe or www.pc.support.global.toshiba.com in the United States for more information.

I was unable to solve.
It does not seem to affect much on the bluetooth, but wireless is a disaster.
Sometimes it slows down even the computer.

I googled no site Web indicates a conflict without wireless/bluetooth.

Everyone knows about this problem?
And nobody knows if the wireless adapter is bluetooth built-in (as in a combo)?

See you soon,.
Juan

Don't know what Wlan module you have, but especially books use a Wlan / BT combo module and a module supports both: wireless and connectivity BT.

If noticed some signal interference between WiFi and BT, I recommend you to disable BT in case you use Wlan connectivity. In the case where you use BT, disable Wlan.

  • Re: Satellite P850 138: Wireless connection drops

    Hello

    I'm having the following problem:

Sometimes the WiFi on my P850 138 will drop and the symbol beside the clock network connection displays an exclamation point.
To solve the problem, I have to open my wireless network connection and disconnect and reconnect to my router manually.

My P850 138 is connected to the internet via a connection from WPA2-PSK with a BT Home Hub 3.
Note: The connection to the router is actually not lost, just connect to the internet.
Also, the router remains connected to the internet.

I would really appreciate some advice.

    Thanks in advance!

    > In order to solve the problem, I have to open my wireless network connection and disconnect and reconnect to my router manually.

From my point of view this is not question of portable but a router problem.
Have you tried to connect the laptop to another wifi hotspot in your area to test the feature?
    Recommend doing this

In addition, you can also check if there is updated firmware for Wlan hub.

  • Satellite C660-1me - bluetooth & Wlan operate within the same radio frequency

    My alptop is Satellite C660-1me
I downloaded all the drivers from the toshiba site, today only a window appeared, says the following:

+ bluetooth and lan devices operating in the same range of radio frequency wireless and may interfere with one another.

Can u please help to figrue the problem and solve it.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

This isn't a problem, but it is a simple system reviews.

This means that your WLan works according to the same frequency as Bluetooth.

Usually the 802. 11 B and G WLan standard using the 2.4 GHz and this frequency is also used by Bluetooth

So if you use WiFi, disable the BT NOT to use two devices at the same time!

  • Satellite P850 - 12 X - update Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

    Hello

I'm writing this information for those who want to upgrade their wirelss adapter inside the Intel 7260AC card dual band.

This card functions perfectly on my Satellite P850-12 X, but you will need to cover the pin 20 with a piece of tape so that it works correctly. I installed this card in my laptop, installed the drivers etc, everything went well past shown in dev Manager without problems, but them was always a red x across wireless networks connections and nothing would show. After spending several days trying to figure out what the problem was, I came across this information I share now. I will not go, why you need to cover the pin20 which would take a whole new thread.

The intel 7260 dual band wireless card works with incredibly fast speeds and has a capacity of Widi and bluetooth and is well recommended but iff after the installation of the card that you have similar problems, as I had then you now have the soloution I saved days of reasearch. All donations most wecome :)

    Hi Sam

    Thanks for sharing your experience.
I just want to add that these updates is not supported by Toshiba and these updates probably will void warranty valid. This should know any owner of the laptop and do these updates on his own risk.
With other words each of us must know this and make own decision how to handle this situation.

In any case, I m happy to know that everything went well with your upgrade. :)

    Good luck.

  • Satellite P850-132 - Bluetooth can not be installed

    Dear *,.

    I have this machine:
    model name: SATELLITE P850-132
    Part No. PSPKAE-00E001N5

OS: Win 7 64-bit, SP1, the latest version of the Bios

I had to reinstall the machine from zero (changing OS language), I could install all the drivers that I found in the drivers section, with the exception of the bluetooth stack.

It starts the Setup program, but when comes the "Setup bluetooth device" popup is stops the progressbar immediately and never continues. It crashes. I can cancel. The main installer window says success, and I can see the Bluetooth folder in the Start Menu. This icon appears in the lower corner on the right.

Can I use the Windows icon at the bottom right to transfer files (for example), but I can't launch applications bluetooth (under the TOSHIBA start menu folder). When I run one of these bluetooth Installer come once again and did the same thing. (Stop the progressbar and never ends). If I press Cancel, then the application does not start.

I tried to turn on/off the bluetooth during or before this window, but it does not help.

Please help me solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance,
    Tamas

Before you begin installing BT stack you must install the filter of Bluetooth driver Package initially.

    You have installed this package?

  • Tecra M6-EZ6612: Bluetooth and WLan operate at the same radio frequency range

    Hi all

I have a laptop that is Tecra M6-EZ6612...
I have a problem that when I install the bluetooth I have a massege indicating a conflict between the wireless and bluetooth...

Two of them are working in the same radio frequency range!
So, I wonder how I can change the frequency range of the bluetooth device? !!!

Not like about it. Material Bluetooth v1.2 or v2.0 have included technology called AFH = "Adaptive Frequency Hopping" that tries to avoid conflict with WLAN. It can only be a problem if you have a very old hardware BT (before 2004).

    Hello

    Using Win 8.1?

Usually you could turn on and off Bluetooth in Win 8.1
Settings PC-> PC &-> of Bluetooth devices

There, you can move the cursor to BT for THE position.

  • Satellite P850-F315 - RECOVERY ISSUES

    Hello

    I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite P850-F315.

After that I did a factory reset (now "zero" all by pressing the button "power on"), I noticed that I had driver problems on my USB ports.
I have found workarounds and kept the operation of the machine.

This morning the wireless card stops working and so did the bluetooth device (it is, of course, in addition to the USB ports that were never resolved).

The machine won't let me not re-install the drivers for those devices.
I tried a system restore Windows, which did not help.
So I came back to perform a factory reset Toshiba.

    + It is underway. +

    Here are my questions.
When I performed the first factory reset, it was the problem of the USB to start.
When I tried to re - install the USB drivers, they seem to be "locked" while signed in as a user.
I could only install devices on USB ports, when I was in safe mode.
    Why would this happen?

Secondly, I have another identical machine, which is currently works perfectly.
This problem will be repeated if I do a factory reset on the second machine?

Is there a reason why wireless and bluetooth devices may stop working randomly?
The wireless hardware seems to be detected by the system, but I can't install the software or device drivers. When I go in the settings of the wireless card and select a Protocol, the properties button is "grayed out" which means I can't go into the properties of each protocol. On the bluetooth device, it freezes while loading software at 15%.

It just seems like there are too many random questions on a single machine. I hope someone can help me with a simple solution for all problems.

    Hello

The whole story is really strange and I can't imagine what the problem is here. Fact is this recovery image original Toshiba is always created for some portable model and contains the operating system, all necessary drivers for hardware components, specific tools and Toshiba Utilities and some additional software.

Toshiba recovery image contains drivers tested so I m really confused why you had all of these problems.
At first, my advice to you is to create using recovery disc (DVD) preinstalled creator Toshiba recovery disc. After doing this using this drive for the functionality of recovery by image installation and test once more.
    > I have another identical machine, which is currently works perfectly.
Googling around, I found that your computer has the PSPKBF part number. If this machine another has the same part number create recovery disk and use it on the original machine just to see if the same problem happens again.
    > This problem repeated itself, if I do a factory reset on the second machine?
I understand the reason for this question, but recovery image can be installed to 1000 times and the result must be the same. I installed recovery image on multiple machines, and each time the reset settings has been successfully and without any strange problems.

Believe me it is not easy to help you with all these problems. Recovery image is tested and after recovery image installation, everything should be ok.
Please do what I wrote and do some tests.

    Hi mate
It is simply to solve. You must use the BT or Wlan.

    Thank you

    Hello

    > Recently the support from Toshiba has replaced my motherboard
In my opinion, you should get in touch with the guys from service again once who replaced / fixed on your laptop.
The laptop should work properly once the service has replaced a faulty part. If it s not the case, you guys should check once again!

I put t know what card WLan do you currently use, but AFAIK the original build in WiFi card was Intel and this wireless network adapter supports BT as well.

So I think you should ask the guys once again unites what s wrong with you

  • Satellite P850 32Z: battery not charging

Recently, I had problems with the battery, which means that I need to plug my AC adapter all the time. The battery in the taskbar icon indicates that the battery is 68% and these last days. Placing the cursor on the icon says "plugged in, not charging", and the battery on the laptop light does not illuminate. If I unplug the AC adapter, the laptop shuts down completely.

I also tried the cold reset following instructions (from the section "Solving a problem" to support)
    1. power off your laptop and unplug the AC adapter
    2. remove the battery from the PC (for models with semi-fixed battery, please follow these instructions)
    3. press the button power for 30 seconds.
    4. then, plug in the adapter without the battery, turn on your computer and start Windows normally
    5. wait 5 min. and then replace the battery on while your laptop is turned on

In step 4, when I turned on the laptop, the laptop starts and the battery light is on. But then after a few seconds, the battery light turns off and the laptop turns off.

    Someone had this problem?

I have the same question. I bought a new battery. It worked for about 1 hour from 67 percent and amounting to 100% and then my laptop just died. Now my old battery indicates 0%, no charge, my new battery says 0%, 8 minutes at full load. So I'm a little confused about this and don't know if it's only a battery error. I'm going to service this week, so I know what the problem. I have the Satellite P850 - 33 m

  • Satellite P850 - new WIFI card cannot be turned on

I have a Satellite P850 with i7cpu and 16 GB of ram running win 7 Home premium.

The wifi card seems to abandon and that it is a realtek, without the support of their site, not even the drivers. I decided to exchange the and installed an Intel centrino advanced-N + WiMAX 6250 dual band mini wifi card that I finally got all the drivers installed, but the diagnosis intel continues to ask the mechanical switch for wifi. I tried F12 and FN keys, but nothing happens.

Any ideas on how to get this on?

In my opinion, there is compatibility problem. These upgrades or equipment Exchange is not supported. Laptop computers are offered with the specific hardware platform and Toshiba tools and utilities are designed for certain hardware platform.

Sorry, but I think that there is nothing you can do about it.
Replacement with the same card is not problematic.

  • Replace the screen for one with a higher resolution on Satellite P850-12Z

    Hi all

I read a lot on the internet about the replacement of the screen on computers laptop toshiba and also I saw a video on [how to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P855 | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ncz3ZaI2I-s].

Is it possible to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P850 12Z (original: 15.6"@1366x768) to another screen with a higher resolution (say: 15.6"@1920x1080 or 15.6"@1600x900)?

I'm sure that the graphics card is able to function perfectly with this screen (nVidia GeForce GT630M 2048 MB dedicated) and also I read a lot on laptop screen replacement, and I know that this screen has a connector 40 pin and it is an LED Panel, so I won't have to worry about the ups.

I found several screens (15.6"@1920x1080) who say they are compatible with Toshiba, but I wan't to make sure a higher resolution Panel replacement is possible.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Exchange of the display is not supported by Toshiba, so I don't think that someone here can help you with this.
I assume that Toshiba offers multiple views for this model of laptop. Only seller is different but resolution 1366 x 768 is always the same as on the original laptop specification.

You can try to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. If someone can help you with that service of Toshiba. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can possibly tell if another view is usable on your machine.

    All this is quite complicated.

  • Problems of Windows 10 satellites P850

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me, please?

Since last week, I tried to upgrade my laptop Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Despite your registration for the upgrade, I still receive a notification. While they were inspecting Windows Update, I saw he really tried repeatedly to download and install the upgrade automatically, but failed. I checked the relevant Windows forum and find countless people also had this problem and error code, with different solutions. Despite trying all these solutions on several occasions, I have still not had no success.

In the last days, I discovered through the tool of Windows 10 upgrade on the taskbar that (despite having previously been clear!), it was now say two things to do with the functions Bluetooth of my phone is not compatible with Windows 10. This is why the upgrade does not work? I did what I can uninstall and disable Bluetooth features as I've never used them. However, I have now seen on the Toshiba site here that my laptop is not listed in the (massive!) list of supported devices! Surely, there must be a way to make it compatible? I've only had the laptop for three years and never had any problems with the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and 8.1.

In any case, I will continue to do everything I can to make it work. If someone else can suggest something to help, I'd appreciate it. I can't afford to buy a brand new laptop just to get the latest version of Windows!

I would like to know why my laptop Satellite P850 in not on the list of Toshiba laptops suitable for a Win 10 update - it's only 2 years old!

  • Satellite P850 - need WLAN Driver for Windows 8.1 64bits

I have Satellite P850: I renewed my Kaspersky Internet Security and Windows update to 8.1 made 64 bit. Now, I have no wireless LAN driver. I can only connect to the internet through an ethernet cable.

I searched high and low for 2 days looking for a solution. I want to keep all genuine Toshiba so not wanting to spread to other sites of questionable diagnoses. Toshiba has only Realtek WLAN for Windows 8 version 2.00.0020 available for download - which is already installed on my computer but it does not work - I have reinstall to see if that fixed the problem, but no.

You will appreciate all help. Thank you.

We can try to check the specifications of the laptop and search for drivers, but you must put the name of the full model P850-xxx.

What is the status of the WLAN card in Device Manager?
