  I have a Satellite Pro 6100 (PS610E - 02c 60-GR) 1.7 Ghz, 256 MB, 40 GB, 15XT and a Geforce4 420 Go (32 MB) graphic card. Until yesterday it was working properly. Now, there are colors on the screen and there was a blue screen a few times, which says something about my graphics card (it disappeared from fast read).
  I uninstalled the old driver and reinstalled twice. Nothing has changed. Also I tried with an external monitor, but there wasn't any change, too.

  Now my questions:
  1. is it possible to change the graphics card (in particular, can I do it alone without a technician)?
  2. How can I do this, is there some tutorials, especially for my laptop?
  3. an another Geforce4, but for example a Geforce4 440 Go with 64 MB of RAM would fit in my notebook?

  I don t think that there is something wrong with the driver because you can receive signals from router (green bars). If the driver WLan would be a mistake if wouldn t receive all signals.
  Please check device manager. If the wireless card is recognized if you are using the correct driver and the driver has been installed correctly.

  In my view, the message "network cable is disconnected" appears because your (NOT wireless) LAN cable is not connected. This post has nothing to do with the question of Wlan.
  You should check your WLan settings again.

  I have a strange error on my USB ports on Satttelite Pro 6100 with XP SP2.

  Two USB 1.1 ports work fine after cranking up what the laptop goes into mode 'sleep' (automatically or manually).
  The restart afret optical mouse connected to the USB port does not illuminate and the XP system displays the error message on the device not recognized on USB port.

  Plug the mouse on or off doesn't change anything. Only restart helps.

  I have a big problem of internal cause keybord does not work under windows. In the bios, I can do anything I want. • Satellite Pro C650 - cooling fan does not work

  On my Satellite Pro S500 (preinstalled Windows 7 64-bit) change the brightness by pressing FN - F6 or FN + F7 does not work. The other NF - f... combinations seem to work correctly.

  When I press FN - F6 (or F7) a control box to change the brightness to poster (as expected), but the level is still displayed as "1" independent of the current value (for example changed from Control Panel or with the eco utility) and it is not possible to change it with FN - F6 or F7.   Ive got a laptop Satellite Pro 6100. IM of problems using the secondary function keys (I'm not sure what they call them!). When I press the function (Fn) key, the light below the F10 button as it should, but when I press one of the brightness of i.e. F up/down buttons, nothing works!

  I had a quick glance at some of the tool and using keyboard in the Control Panel, which suggests that the driver may be incorrect, so I tried looking for an updated driver, but windows says: I have the latest version of the driver.

  Anyone else have this problem with the SP6100? Can it be fixed? If so, how?

  Even the windows said that you are using the latest drivers, you need to reinstall the drivers.

  If you have reinstalled your system using the Toshiba recovery disks the touchpad should have the right drivers and be fully functional. I seem to remember that it is possible to disable the touch pad using one of the "keyboard shortcuts" (F9 on my SA30) in order to check that it has not been inadvertently pressed.
