Satellite Pro A120 (PSAC0E) does not start after upgrading RAM
Hello
I hope someone can help me here, I recently bought a Satellite Pro A120 (PSAC0E) and decided to upgrade the RAM. I bought a stick of 512 MB of curries with the following specifications: DDR PC2700 200-pin 333 Mhz SODIMM (64 x 64).
However, the first problem I encountered was an alignment problem. A little effort and handling solved this, but after you insert the RAM into the available slot, the computer laptop wouldn't boot, and instead, I had the flashing sequence on the LED from 2,3,3.
I was told it might be a problem matching, then tried to remove the original RAM and booting with just the new stick, still the same error. I tried it in the slots and still no joy. It starts very well with the original 256 MB of RAM, but refuses to take the new RAM.
Are there any known issues? Can anyone suggest something that I can do wrong? I followed the usual steps of upgrade to remove all power cables and the battery before the upgrade, but still no joy.
Hoping that someone is able to help!
Hi James
You simply have bad memory modules and is not a compatible uses.
> the first problem I encountered was an alignment problem. A little effort and handling solved this,
This should not happen! The right modules can be inserted without any problem of alignment!
Handling can damage the module!
In my opinion, you should use another and supported the RAM module.
To my knowledge, you can use the PA3512U-1M1G (DDR2-667 1 GB Memory Kit) or (PA3411U-2M1G) DDR2-533 1 GB
The two should be compatible.

Satellite Pro M10 PS630E does not start after upgrading CPU
I tried to install a new processor for my Toshiba Satellite Pro M10-PS630E.
He initially has a 1500, I tried to put a 1766.I follow the maintenance manual, later the computer change is not star upward.
When I connet to power it show that the luminous power of orange/amber color and make 5 flashes, then 3 and then restart blinking. My question is "is it posible to do a reset of the bios parametrers" or "reset the CMOS?
Is it possible to get it working again.Hello
The flashing light means that it has detected a hardware problem on the motherboard!
Perhaps you have used a wrong CPU and is not compatible.Perhaps the BIOS does not support this processor and therefore this flashing error code appears.
What say you can't update the BIOS! First of all, that's not possible since only focused on the victory of BIOS is available for download. You must run the Windows operating system to update the BIOS.
Secondly the update of the BIOS won't help you with this problem! You must use a CPU that is fully compatible!
Welcome them

Satellite P200D-130 does not start after upgrading RAM
Hi, I just upgraded the RAM on my P200D 130 but it does not start after that.
I removed the 2 Hynix 1 GB PC2-5200 and put in 2 SO Kingston DDR2 2 GB PC667 (should be the same as PC2-5200).
Post-market nothing happens, light power control is turned on, I him stays CD drive but screen black, no beeps.I put one of the 1 GB modules, it starts normally, then I tried a 1 GB into the lower slot module and a 2 GB module in the top slot and it works.
I tried a single 2 GB module in each slot, even in the form of 2 2 GB modules. What could be the reason, better: what would be the solution to ensure that the modules of 2 x 2 GB to work?
Thanks in advance,
Michael
Hello!
I think that both modules are not compatible to the laptop.
Normally you can upgrade your laptop to 4 GB. Look in the user manual. The RAM, you should bring the computer dealer and request a new one. More buy modules with the same specifications and dimensions. Try buying RAM with the same specs as before.
Good bye

Re: Smoker L30-10 X PSL33E does not start after upgrading RAM
Hello
I have a problem with my laptop.
It has 1024 MB of RAM (2 x 512), but it wasn't enough, so I decided to update to 2048 MB (2 x 1024).I bought two modules and my computer does not start after changing them.
It was only a screen black (same BIOS has not started). I tried another combination of installation of memory modules RAM.
2 x 1024 - did not work
1 x 1024 - did not work
1 x 1024 + 1 x 512 - working but not properly.BIOS find that I only 896 MB (1024-128 for the video card)
I said OK. Let's see what will show windows. He was also 896 MB.
I launched CPU - Z and it shows that the total size of memory is 1536 MB (medium detect both modules).
I found that CPU - Z detect 1 module 1 024 MB and 512 MB secondary, but the BIOS detect only 1024 MB 1536. How is that possible?I have fought, is that my BIOS is old, then I update the toshiba Web site form most recent version, but the problem persists.
Please someboy help me and tell what to do.PS. the Modules are new and work correctly.
They have been tested.Hello
Have you used two identical RAM modules?
What kind of modules did you use?
In my view, that the problem is related to the new, inserted modules.
There must be something wrong with the modules or modules are not completely compatible if the laptop can not boot after installation.According to a few pages of the book handles the DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200) 200-PIN SODIMM modules.
Did you use these modules?

Satellite L670-1EE does not start after upgrading RAM 4 GB to 8 GB
I'm trying to upgrade the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB. If I replace two 2 GB of 2 modules of 4 GB modules, the BIOS (which is the most recent) realize the 8 GB, but does not start at startup. There is just the white cursor blinking not.
When I put in the 1 4 GB module and 1 2 GB module the system starts without a problem and has 6 GB. I checked the two 4 GB modules, they work in any combination, but not when both are installed together.
I couldn't find any rider or the settings of the bios for the RAM...
Any idea?
Thanks in advance for the help
The last plausible explanation is that both modules are ok, but not compatible with each other.
The laptop can be upgraded up to 8 GB of RAM. This should not be a problem since the unit is supported by the Chipset Mobile Intel HM55 Express. So I think that you need to replace the modules Kingston modules are great and work without problem.

Satellite Pro S300-120 does not start after replacing the CMOS battery
Hello
My friends laptop - a S300-120 - was having a few problems.
I replaced some parts about this before, including a screen crack with no problems.
However, he began to refuse to start saying "out of battery CMOS, Press F1 to enter setup". Of course you would have to do this, set the date and time, except & restart only to get the same message. We have replaced the CMOS battery with a with the same serial number and now the laptop will not boot.
It does one of two things.
It is one) seems to turn, turn to the top disk & CD player, cooling fan is 100%, then flashes the POWER ON led once, twice by orange, and then green to 1/2 second intervals, with no response from the keyboard or LCD.
Or (b) turns on, turntable, does not turn up to cooling fan, POWER ON witness remains stable, no response from the keyboard or LCD.
I re-assembled the laptop several times & can not find all the missing fittings or obvious signs of damage.
The only thing I can think is that the motherboard has been damaged - somehow find replacements is delicate.
Any ideas?

POWER ON led once, twice by orange, and then green to 1/2 second intervals, with no response from the keyboard or LCD.
Usually, if the voltage in abnormal feeding malfunctions when IN DC will be blinking orange. In my opinion, it looks like a problem with the motherboard :(
Eventually, you will need to replace the mobo ;( -

Satellite M30-604 does not start after upgrading RAM
I have exactly the same problem with a Satellite M30 604! I have 2x1GB sticks and screen stays black. It works if I use one of the 1 GB sticks and one the old 256 KB stick but not the 2x1GB sticks as it should be (according to the specifications of my model manual).
Boths glue work perfectly, I tried to the sepparately.
In addition, computer does not work with the single 1x1Gb stick, mandatory I have to combine a new (1 GB) with an old (256Kb), or just stay on the two old sticks...
What can I do? PLEASE, I BEG YOU!
Hello
Satellite M30 can be upgraded up to 2 GB of RAM, but you must use compatible RAM modules.
As far as I know, you can use the modules of PC2700 and PC - 2100 DDR SODIMM 200 pin.I think that you problem is certainly linked to a not entirely compatible RAM modules

Satellite Pro A200-1MA - does not start after disassembly
This is one for my laptop was overheating strongly and I decided to clean the radiator and the parts around it. I disassembled the computer laptop to the point where I can take off the cooler, cleaned and then I put everything back. The problem is now it won t work.
It starts normally, past in loading windows (I have Windows 7 sp1) and then after 10 seconds, or it just stops. I tried to go to the bios, but it does the same thing after 10 seconds. First, he showed BSOD with no explanation. Just somewhere stopped working and it has to stop, but I can't figure what. CPU should be fine, it can t overheat in 10 seconds if it s cooler nor starts loading Windows in order to RAM and HARD drive may also be excluded.
My best guess is that I'm connected to something wrong, but I disassembled it 3 - 4 times today and can t find something that is not connected. When I remove the top plastic I need to disconnect this son: speakers, power button, touchpad, keyboard and one other connectors 2 or 3 which I am sure they are USB, LAN & maybe etc...
Then, can you at least tell me where to start? What to check?
Hey,.
I also can say with certainty what happened exactly, but fact is laptop disassembly is not easy and should be made only to professionals. If you take apart a laptop computer, you must be connected to the land, for example to avoid electrical damage.
Anyway, everything you can do test your laptop with factory settings (preinstalled OS from Toshiba). If you notice the same problem it s a serious malfunction of hardware and your laptop should be verified professional people.

Re: Satellite Pro A210, stil does not start after you use the recovery disk
Hi, my computer laptop girls stopped booting, I tried everything to fix this, but it seems to be on a loop.
He runs the repair of your computer, but after a while, I get the message, this computer cannot repair this fault automatically (or something similar), there is also a message that says - if you have connected a camera or to this computer's portable music player, remove it now and restart.
I tried to start in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt and last know good configuration but still no joy, so I eventually ran the recovery disc. Once it was finished, I was to square.
Does anyone have an idea of what I can try next - other than to throw it out the nearest window.
Thanks in advance.
Hello
Never heard talk of this error but sounds strange
If I understood your first assignment; you were able to complete the installation of the OS from the recovery disc. Is this good?Well, in this case the HARD disk must be OK because the files were copied correctly
I searched a bit in google and didn t have found a solution to 100%.
Some have said that new OS install should solve this perhaps you could use clean up Windows Vista, Win XP diskYou can also try to format the drive HARD integer first. Delete all partitions on the HARD drive, and then try again
PS: You can check the HARD drive using the + Hitachi Drive Fitness Test. +
Its free tool. You can find using google -
Satellite P10 504 does not start after upgrading RAM
I just sticks of 2 x 1 GB of DDR 400 soddim and no start.
After reading on what I could find on similar models, now seems that these older laptops cannot manage that fast of ram? With the help of some 266 DDR would be more appropriate?
Hello
If the computer laptop doesn't boot then there is a great chance that the RAM is either not compatible or it s faulty.
I think that it s is not compatible.I found this page:
http://www.orcalogic.co.UK/ASP/ProdType.asp?ProdType=7090&ft=m&St=3According to this page the P10 supports the * 200-pin PC2700 (333 Mhz) DDR SODIMM * bars!

Re: Satellite A105-S2061 does not start after upgrading RAM
Hello activity
I recently bought two RAM sticks of 1 GB for my laptop upgraded from 512 MB to 2 GB.
I turned my computer off and pulled out the old RAM and put in 2 GB sticks. I then turned on the computer. The computer seems to boot up normally, but all the time he needs to just showed the start TOSHIBA computer screen is turned off.
The screen never shows anything... it just stops. Several attempts donnГ the same result. I put in one. There could be only one explanation.
The new RAM modules are not compatible, or there is a power outage!I guess that the laptop starts properly using older modules. Am I wrong?
Well, I think you should simply replace the modules with one another! -
Satellite C660 / 03C does not start after upgrading RAM
Has decided to upgrade my lappy missed at 4 GB and bought 2 x legend 2 GB L256483J - 16 (2 x 2 GB DDR3 - 1333) chip and will not go beyond bios.
Put the dirty old standard 2 GB Samsung PC3 - 10600 S-09-10-222 back in and works fine. Then put 1 legend of 2 GB and it works and reads the 4 GB of memory.
Why it won't work with 2 chopsticks legend?
> Why it won't work with 2 chopsticks legend?
I'm afraid there is a compatibility issue of Mr. to avoid these problems, use recommended, tested and compatible memory modules. My advice to you is the use of modules from Kingston. The right one, you can find HERE.

And offer 2 options 1. Repair (recommended) launch utility 2. Start windows normally
I tried both options, but it came on the screen even after some time.
