You can remove the laptop HARD drive, put it in a small box of HDD SATA 2.5 and connect the HARD drive to the other PC / laptop as external device. You will have full access to all stored data.   If you provide your serial number, we can check if the machine is a European model. If it is not then maybe you have bad BIOS installed.
