Satellite Pro A40: TPSODDCtl.exe - Ordinal not found
Hello
I reinstalled my Toshiba Satellite Pro A40 with XP sp2.
Since then, Power Saver have begun to return this error:
«Application popup: TPSODDCtl.exe - Ordinal not found: the 21 ordinal not found in the library of dynamic links TPSMainCtl.dll.»
I already removed energy saving and reinstalled again. Energy saving does not work well, m but every time this error apears I restart computer.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Thank you for your attention.
AF
Hello AF
It's really not easy to say how this problem can be solved. Usually the new facility could solve it. This kind of problems is not easy to repair on easy way. If you are a user with lots of experience I suggest you remove all records related to energy saving, even entries in regedit (be careful).
Then, try again to install energy-saving. Sorry but I have no other suggestions.
If you will be able to solve this problem please let me know.
Good bye

Original title: error Ordinal 62
I received the following error sporadically when I try the accounting version of Quickbooks 2012. Accordingly, it does not run Quickbooks on my desktop but it allows me to run on my laptop. Help, please. "Setup.exe - Ordinal not found - the 62 ordinal could not be locatedin the CSCDLL.dll dynamic link library.Hello
You can try the following steps and check.
Method 1:
Check if there is a cscui.dll C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.
The cscui.dll does not exist by default in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.
If you find the cscui.dll on the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 you can try right click and rename the cscui.dll to cscui.old.
Method 2:
You can run scanning of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer that will replace missing or corrupt files & check if the problem persists.
For more information, you can consult the following link.
Method 3:
You can also perform a clean boot and check.
A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

Satellite Pro P300 - PSPCDA-01L00D - DVD not found after upgrade Windows 7
After a new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium, and then download the required drivers from the Toshiba support site there are problems with the DVD drive in my laptop.
I downloaded the app Toshiba DVD Player, which auto detects what version you need. After the application is running, I get the message "no installation Toshiba DVD could be found! You can only update a version already installed. »
How can I get the DVD player to be recognized, if the application will be installed. Currently the DVD player will not play DVD - that will be a problem for my daughter who use the laptop.
The driver Windows 7 page mentions too, updates will be available via Toshiba Service Station, but does provide no link. A search in the Web from Toshiba site fails to locate, where can I get this utility of?
What you have found on the Toshiba download page, it's just the update and not full version.
If you want to have really good player install VLC player. It's free and you can find Googling autour. This reader reads all video formats and I use it for a long time.
It reads the DVD without any problem.
Test it. If you n t it you can delete any it system.

I get these messages every time that I boot because is similar, in that I do not copy the other. A registry cleaner moved the wrong files?
Hello!
You have made any changes on your computer recently? The error message you get is caused by the installer of Webroot. It is usually caused by a program or software that has been uninstalled, but some of the components are always there to look for the program and give this error.
We suggest that you perform a cleanboot to isolate which program or software that causes this problem. To do this, please refer to this link: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Keep us informed.

Satellite Pro A40 - sound skips when loading programs
PC: Toshibe Satellite Pro A40
Sound card drivers: Soundmax integrated digital audioHello
When I bought my Toshiba Satellite Pro A40 my audio is not affected by loading programs and any other activities that could slow down my computer.
I had to resinstall windows a few months back when my HD crashed.
I reloaded all my drivers etc. and installed itunes.
When I play music or any audio I listen to jump seriously when loading programs or when processes are performed on my computer.
This used to be the case, I tried to change my settings from quicktime to run in safe mode, I even now deleted quicktime and itunes that I thought it was the source of the problems.
Nothing worked, my sound is still seriously affected when my processor is busy
I uninstalled, reinstalled my sound card drivers, but nothing has worked...
I would really appreciate it if you have all the settings I could change to stop this problem.
My voice through my microphone breaks a lot, so the people at the other end of a VOIP call can barely hear me... it's driving me crazy!
