Satellite Pro L350 restarts nonstop
I bought a Toshiba Satellite L350/350 d, installed everything fine and worked without problem.
I turned off then went to turn it on and I get a message before the newspaper saying screen something like "update 3 / 3 0% complete" "Windows is shutting down", then it restarts and does the same thing.
I left it overnight and I think that the battery is dead (argh!)
I tried to ring the helpline and they are closed this weekend.
I thought back to where I bought.
Thanks for reading and please help me.
For me, it looks like the computer laptop didn t complete the installation of the Vista updates.
If it is possible to start the laptop, then you should try to repair the operating system and reinstall it again.
Please press F8 immediately after that the laptop has been powered.
Then choose fix my computer-> then last option called Toshiba HDD Recovery
This would be to format the whole HARD drive and would like to reinstall Windows Vista again.
After the reinstallation of the OS, try to upgrade Vista to the last State.
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L350-20N.
I used it a week ago and it worked perfectly, all hard drive and all.
Then the next day I tried to turn on, I hear the fan turns and he's trying to boot from the disc. But the display does not illuminate.
I tried hard restart taking the battery thing.
I also checked that the RAM is fine.
I also tried to hook up to an external monitor, but it did not come with something.
What is the problem with my laptop?
P.S. I need to run as soon as I start teaching.
Thanks in advance!
> What is the problem with my laptop?
Motherboard problem? Maybe the CPU or GPU defective?
Did you get that?
Remove the battery, disconnect the adapter, press and hold the power button / stop along 30 sec.
Now connect the battery and the AC adapter and try power upward
If this does not help, your hardware has a serious problem
I'm trying to upgrade a Satellite pro L350 with ssd, currently I try with an ssd samsung 830. I've already updated the bios to version 2.2, but it doesn't work. Can someone help me?
and what exactly does not work?
The SSD is recognized by the BIOS?
Have you checked if the SSD has need of a firmware update or if a firmware update is available
Maybe I can find assistance or advice here:
Satellite Pro L350 / 3 GB RAM / 160 GB HD / 2 x 2, 00 GHz Pentium Core Duo - OS: Vista Business OEM (as delivered)
The machine is stuck in an operation of copy/paste from a website to an email and died with stop error message 0 x 00008086. No additional information said.
No info to the MSKB available. Many forums say that it is due to a material error in the SATA controller, something with the ACPI mode - seems to depend on this, switching to compatibility mode in bios causes the machine to not dispay no BSOD more, but start of the operating system drive or recovery is not possible. Anyone know this topic or meet a similar prob?
Thanks in advance for any reply (useful)...
Generally these BSOD codes are mainly related to hardware or driver issues...
Before exchanging something or contact an authorized repair service provider, I recommend you to reinstall Windows from the Toshiba recovery disc. This can restore with pre-tested settings factory settings and drivers of Toshiba. Normally, everything should work fine with him.
If this is not the case, there is a hardware problem, but it is always hard to tell which part is exactly defective. Therefore, you need professional help from a technician for laptop.
Recentlyt purchased by Satellite Pro L350. When to use internet through Wi - Fi screen hangs. I can not turn off.
Had to remove the battery to stop. Recharged the battery and released in market, OK for a while then same occurrence.
Try to update the Firmware on your wireless access Point.
Also try updating the BIOS and LAN drivers wireless on the laptop.
I have a satellite pro L350-16 has with a 160 GB drive HARD by running a Vista 32 bit operating system. I would like to change it to 500 GB.
What should I do if I want to keep all the configurations that I have in the 160 GB of HARD drive.
> What should I do if I want to keep all the configurations that I in the 160 GB HARD drive
If I understand correctly, you want Vista 32 bit with all the configuration to 500 GB hdd? You can use a program called Acronis True image to a hard drive image backup and move it to another hard drive, then. Note that this program is not free, and you must activate it for use.
I downloaded the new BIOS - 1.60 for Satellite Pro L350 and it generates an error saying "This BIOS is not for your laptop".
Where can I get the new BIOS - 1.60 for * PSLD0E Satellite Pro L350-154-02601WS4 *? Thank you
Are you sure that you have a Satellite Pro L350 PSLD0E?
The series PSLD0E is a Satellite L350 (not Pro).
But the BIOS update, you can find the Toshiba site.
Call me a fool, but I don't know much about drivers or install vista.
I'll tell you guys everything in order to make as much sense as possible:
I was just looking on my Toshiba Satellite Pro L350-107, a. MKV file on a program called "Zoom Player", it arises abruptly saying "zoom player has stopped working. So I clicked the pop-up on X but my laptop crashed and I had to power off button power holding down for 5 seconds.
After this incident, I turned on the laptop back, everything was normal until about two minutes to check in, everything froze again and again and again until I gave up on it. The next morning, I discovered that my father has managed to use the account invited without problems, so instantly, I logged into my account to see pop ups like "flash cards stopped working" and anything associated with toshiba to crash, but I could always use internet.
I decided to do a system restore, after 2 failed attempts I finally restored my laptop to the earliest date, and everything was fine until about an hour into the laptop, it would crash like what I explained above.
Then my father got a copy of mcafee, and we were looking for viruses, at halfway of the analysis, it found 2 Trojan horses, but crashed in the middle of the overall analysis. Now, here's the real problem...
I got an operating system disk, due to the fact that I thought he was just install vista again, I formatted the hard drive to the L350 - 107 and proceeded with the installation, but I had to install second hard disk, because on the c / reader could not. After intall vista was full, I wanted to check what are the components, but the operating drive was a dell disk use and now think that it is a dell. Now the screen is stuck on a screen of 32-bit and none of the pilot are related, due to them being drivers toshiba not dell.
I tried looking for drivers and sought a downloadable operating system disk, but nothing has worked, toshiba stopped giving an operating with their laptops drive (so I heard).
Please, someone help me! AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
> toshiba stopped giving an operating with their laptops drive (so I hear).
First of all more recent of Toshiba laptops HARD drive recovery option and allows to recover the computer laptop but only if the HARD disk was not formatted.
Second, you will always find a creative software for the Toshiba Recovery disk pre-installed on Toshiba laptops. This tool creates the recovery disc!
But this must be done before the disk was formatted HARD!
In addition, you always get a reminder message that you must burn this image to a DVD:
your system is equipped with a hard drive recovery system. If you need to repair
your computer in the restaurant to original factory State, you can do it directly
hard disk (press F8 when you start your computer, choose "Repair your computer"
and follow the instructions in the menu) or create a media drive bootable recovery for this purpose.
Toshiba recommends you create recovery disk medium uses the "Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator' to ensure the

You have two options;
Yu will format the HARD drive and install the operating system using the original Windows disc from Microsoft. Then, you can download drivers Toshiba from the European pilot of Toshiba page.
Or you order the drive recovery Toshiba for this laptop from here:
My Satellite Pro L350-277 keeps giving message "unhandled exception error". It occurs randomly, and the message box goes away if I click on "Continue" or "quit".
Does not appear to affect applications that are running at the same time.
My machine is heading a serious accident?
What is your laptop preinstalled with Toshiba (operating system factory pre-installed) recovery image?
Have you noticed that on the first day?
You know, it's not easy to say why this is happening, but maybe he appears after you have started to install additional software.
Have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L350 the numloc stop working. Have a bios updated, try setting numloc in the keyboard of the screen, replaced keyboard. Still does not
Check their documentation online with the help of Toshiba, and ask in the forums about known issues.
Toshiba - Forums
Toshiba - drivers - access your model
Toshiba - Support
You can also check with a real computer (one that makes its own internal service and not a leek and)
Displays a Best Buy or other stores).
I hope this helps and happy holidays!

Hi I have a TOSHIBA SATELLITE PRO M30 LAPTOP 1.7 CENTRINO that was dropped it is moved that it restarts every time (long story). Works fine if it does not move otherwise. No idea why it's happening and it can be cured?
I assume that there is a problem with the connector between the HARD drive and motherboard. Try to remove and put in new HARD drive or maybe RAM module. Otherwise only certified partner can help you.
It's my first time here posting and I could really use your help. I have a satellite pro a210 and me went to answer a phone call and it ran out of power and now he turns not again. I tried to take out the battery and hold the power button to drain it and then go back to the top and holding F8, F12, told me press and hold the back key while rebooting (all tried).
Tried with battery and battery attached but nothing worked with the power cable. It has been like that for a few months and I'm out of ideas.
If someone had a similar problem and knows a solution that would be great.
What happen exactly when you press the power button / stop? Is there a reaction?
I'm unable to download the update of the BIOS for a Toshiba Satellite Pro P300 PSPCDE (WIN 3.00), the reason being that I wonder a user name and password to download the file!
The laptop has this annoying problem to revive a few minutes after the laptop has stopped, and that's why I want to update the BIOS to see if it suits him. Laptop is running XP Pro (downgraded from Vista).
Ideas how I can get the update of the BIOS and will it solve the strange rebooting problem?
Where are you trying to download the BIOS?
I always download my updates on the official website of Toshiba and if it doesn't work maybe you should wait a day.

To be honest, I doubt that the BIOS update will solve this problem. I often read about this problem and you can solve if you disable the wake on LAN function in the BIOS and Windows (properties of the wireless network card).
I have a strange problem, I am running Windows 7 and, occasionally, when I sign out and close my laptop it seems to restart itself and displays a blue screen with "mutiple_irp_completerequests" on this subject.
Then I pressed the on / off to make it stop.
Is this a major problem and what is the cause and the fix for it?
Thanks for any help on this matter,
Found this error on the Microsoft page:
' Display the Error Message Stop 0 x 00000044 Multiple_IRP_Complete_Requests "during a shutdown or standby operation
This problem can occur because a driver asked a bunch of request of I/O (IRP) must be completed, but the package is already completed.
It seems that there is a problem of driver somewhere
You have all 3 devices installed or connected to the laptop?
Might be possible that these 3rd device and software cause this problem.
Some people in the world wide web have reported problems with Norton and some 3rd party software. This problem was solved by uninstalling Norton
After an update of the BIOS under windows, my system restarts more. F2, F8 keys are ineffective to turn on time. The screen stays black and there is only some permanent access to the CD/DVD drive.
Can someone explain to me what happened and how to fix if possible? Should I reflash the BIOS or something else.
Thank you very much
In my opinion, something went wrong during the update and the module ROM was not properly flashed.
According to the people here in the forum, only a Toshiba service agent can help you.
But I found an interesting thread here in the forum that may be useful.
