  I need to buy a new laptop with windows XP on it. I was initially attracted by the Satellite Pro P300-19 q because of its ability to be downgraded to XP. However, I decided to do a quick serach first to see if someone had encountered problems and I saw a few posts where people are having problems with the wifi on them after decommissioning.

  The Satellite Pro P300-19 q isn't my first choice of PC Toshiba laptop and if the downgrade xp disc is not very effective, so I'd probably rather use my own copy of xp and downgrade a portable me (as long as the drivers are on the Web site). Anyone had any experience with these Toshiba recovery DVD to downgrade?

  I have a windows vista pro (PSAASE-00G004GR) satellite after turn on and typing the password for windows vista, the screen goes black but I see that the cursor moves & because it seems that the hard drive also works in th background, but I can't see anything except the mouse cursor , I tried to boor with other options (LAST WORK safe MODE KNOWN FEATURES... etc) but it's still the same only black screen and the cursor...

  I do not prefer the product cause of my data recovery on this subject, any ideas?

  You can order a new keyboard and these individual keys you want to say t can be ordered. If some individual keys n t work you need to buy a new keyboard but AFAIK it isn't so expensive.

  Simply contact the service provider allowed in your country and ask for that. There you can get a new keyboard. :)

  I think that your HARD drive is dead.
  You need to replace the HARD drive with a new 2.5 SATA HDD.

• Satellite Pro P300 LED to the bizarre behavior

  I have a portable Satellite Pro P300-1AY, bought just for more than a year. A few hours before after saving my galleries of photos on my external hard drive, a function LED (located below the touchpad) began to blink once every 2 seconds and has done since then. I can't say I've noticed this before but maybe I'm a bit on the side hypersensitive and prudent? I've never had a system failure (yet) or any error message telling me that something is wrong in particular.

  Unfortunately I don't know quite what this led to specific standards for, no power supply mains or battery either. The hard disk activity? More likely.

  Satellite Pro P300 I almost three months now and I can confirm that keyboard on this area is not stable on the other side, but it moves when I press with very great strength. Typing normal I do not use so much force and I have very sensitive keys. Just give a contact, and the symbols are on the screen. I use laptops for a year now and type on the computer keyboard is different as standard desktop with large and robust keys keyboard.

  To be honest, I don't see any problem here. Maybe you use to force much press. If you check the mechanism under the keyboard protects it's so small and sensitive, and you can press the keys very gently.
