Satellite Pro R850 - 15 H - recovery deleted partition

My brother was playing with my phone, apparently accidentally deleted partitions on my HDD recovery so that I can not install them the system now. What should I do?

Now, you have two options:
1 / you can order the original recovery image for your model of laptop on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

2 / you can install the version of the OS. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities, you can download it from http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

If you have any other questions you are welcome.

  • Satellite Pro R850-15F - freezing randomly and the fan speeds up

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro R850-15F who gave me four years in refurbished condition and so it is quite old.
I have recently installed Windows 10 and things seemed to work very well.

However, last week, I noticed that at least once a day my laptop freezes randomly and immediately the internal fan accelerates, becomes much stronger and a cold air. Whenever this happens, I turned off the laptop and turn it back on it.

After that, it works normally again until the next time it freezes. I don't know anything about computer hardware, but I suspect that it is a problem of series and I wanted to get some advice in case my laptop is close to dying.

If anyone has any help or advice or suggestions to solve the problem, then I would be extremely grateful if you would contact me.

Hope to hear from someone soon,

    Flashback

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here. To me, it looks like problem with some background process that as a result of extremely high CPU usage that locks the phone whole.
High CPU usage means more heat in such situation the fan starts to run a lot faster.

Have you noticed this behavior with a specific action or the use of certain applications?

  • Satellite Pro A300-1OP - Missing FEPs disk partition E:\

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-1OP with Windows Vista.

The hard disk is partitioned into C:\ and E:\, each about 75 GB with a hidden options of system recovery partition. E: / shows that about 5MB, left free while C:\ shows 28GB. However, the list of files/folders to E: / shows a total of about only 10 GB. I put the hidden files & folders to be displayed in the Control Panel/appearance but no more are listed to explain the "disappeared" 65GB. I also have a warning window telling me to free up space in E:\ drive to appear.

What is the problem and how to fix it? I run Disk Cleanup, but get more no free space.

I am quite often here on this forum and I always wonder what kind of problems people have with their laptops.
If you created the recovery DVDs move all the files to the C partition and start the computer management > disk management. Deleting a volume E second partition). After having this recreate and do the full format.

It will be interesting to know if the partition will display correctly after that. If so, move all the data back and hope that everything will be OK again.
Please note: after doing this, it may happen that you will not be able to create recovery DVD or use HARD drive recovery facility then please do this if you created DVDs.

  • Re: How to use Recovery Expert Mode in Satellite Pro M70-220 product recovery CD

I would appreciate advice on the following points.

My Satellite Pro M70-220 (PSM75E-00D008G3), portable computer has 4 partitions created by Acronis Disk Director costume v9:

    C: OS - Win XP Pro SP3
    D: programs
    E: data & downloads
    F: backups

After you start the laptop in Win XP, I inserted the recovery CD Toshiba in the DVD - RAM drive
and sailed to the BMP file, R:\G_INST\BMP, where I found the file "menu.bmp", which gives 2 recovery
    Options:

    * 1. Retrieve entire hard drive *.
Caveat. All data stored o your computer will be lost.
Preinstalled software factory will be installed.

    * 2. Recovery expert Mode WARNING: *.
This is for PC experts only.
Preinstalled software factory can be installed on an existing partition.

My questions are linked using the "Recovery Expert" Mode:
-I'll be able to use the "recovery of the Expert Mode' the recovery CD to reinstall Win XP Pro (pre-installed software factory) on my C: partition, while affecting only not partitions D, E & F?
-I'll be able to format the C: partition by using the "Expert recovery" Mode, without formatting of other partitions?
-What is the exact procedure of "Expert Recovery Mode"?
-where can I find more information on the procedure of "Expert Recovery Mode"?

    Thank you

    AlanCB

    > I'll be able to use the "recovery of the Expert Mode' the recovery CD to reinstall Win XP Pro (pre-installed software factory) on my C: partition, while affecting only not partitions D, E & F

Yes, this should be possible. Using the Expert Mode of recovery, you should get the ghost window where you can select the partition where the OS is to be installed. In this case only that partition would be formatted.

    > will it be possible to format the C: partition by using the "Expert recovery" Mode, without formatting of other partitions?

Yes, theoretically it should be possible.

    > what is the exact procedure of "Expert Mode of recovery"?
As I mentioned above, this mode allows you to restore the operating system on a partition of some and only this partition will be formatted.

    > where can I find more information on the procedure of "Expert Mode of recovery"?

  • Satellite Pro A120 - cannot install recovery disc

    Hi - I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1E-04H00VEN model number

It was less his hard drive and I posted previously to try a 160 GB drive without success. I thought that the drive may be defective, so I have now acquired a 120 GB drive. It is not new, but assured me that it works. However, it does not work in this laptop! As before (with the disk 160), when I try to install it using the Toshiba restore disc, the operation just sticks on the "Please wait..." message. "for 30 minutes then the machine shuts down. Assuming that the hard drive is ok there at - it something more, that I can do to determine the problem with this laptop?

FYI, this is what happens after installing the hard drive:
I turn it on and get this message: NTLDR is missing. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart.
I insert the product recovery disc, put off and then again when you press F12.
I get a soft Purring over the Toshiba logo. I select the CD/DVD symbol and get a short message saying: the installer inspects the hardware configuration of your computer.
I then get RAMDISK image loading... which takes less than 2 minutes.
I then get a short message saying: from Windows Preinstallation Environment. Press F6 if you need to install a third-party RAID or SCSI driver...
I then get it please wait... and after 10 seconds, the fan goes into overdrive! This Carry on during 30 minutes with him please wait... message, then the laptop turns off automatically.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thank you.

    Hi Lapitup,

Before you buy another HARD drive, you need to test a different installation disk you have already tried the two hard disks with the same problem so I think that the problem is not HARD drive itself

If you have a normal installation disc of Windows, you can install Windows on this drive. So you can check if the recovery disk works properly or not. Theoretically, the disc could be wiped off so that the files cannot be read properly.

In the worst cases, some of the material is affected. Then, you need professional help of an authorized service provider.

  • Satellite Pro P200: Change the size of partition in Vista?

Is it possible to adjust the size of the partition after installing?

I have a Satellite Pro P200 with a shared about HARD disk:

C: Vista partiton - 17 GB of free to 56 GB
E: partition of data of-54 GB of free to 55 GB

I know that the data reader is used by Vista to contain information of recovery.

However, I would like to know if its possible to reallocate some of its spare production capacity at the Vista drive without compromising the recovery feature?

Of course, you can change the size of the partitions after Vista installation.

You can change this in the Vista Disk Manager s

Here, you could choose the existing partition, and then you could reduce the amount of partitions. This free volume can be added to another partition, or you can create another partition.

  • Satellite Pro L10 - 135 no recovery disk, need to restore

    Hello

We have a Satellite Pro L10-135: Intel with Windows XP.

The laptop is a few years old and is full of spyware, my partner has also accidentally deleted some program files. I have removed all personal files and would like to completely reformat the unit as long as the plant.

But she lost the recovery CD. I tried to get them at Toshiba, but when I enter the serial number it says that its too old and the drive is not available. I also tried to find the Toshiba recovery disc creator, but on the menu start, is found instead it says Start > all programs > Toshiba > Networking or start > all programs > Toshiba > utilities.

I need the process to be fool-proof, because I'm not too confident with computers, so I would get a real restoration of Toshiba, rather than who to download drivers, etc..

Anyone know where I could buy or download the disc in the United Kingdom?

    Thank you very much.

It is always an issue with the old models of laptops, but what you can try is to contact the nearest Toshiba authorized service provider in your country and ask for help.
Maybe they have archived somewhere old recovery disc and can help you with this.

One last thing: very often, I see people offer on eBay recovery disks.
Check it out. Maybe you will be lucky and find the recovery for your model of laptop disk there.

  • Satellite Pro A120 - I need recovery disk

Accidentally all trying to clear up my computer deleted user accounts and so XP has been totally screwed and wouldn't let me in, even the administrator account it says did not exist (which I think is impossible), so I gave up and did a hard drive erase computer that I was about to throw in the trash as a lost cause...

SO, what I really need, is the disc of recovery for Toshiba Satellite Pro A120, I very foolishly went and lost (look around these forums, it seems I'm not the only one!).

Anyway, the computer running Windows XP Professional and the laptop model number is: PSAC0E-006008EN

VERY ANNOYINGLY TOSHIBA NO LONGER SUPPORT LAPTOP DISKS OR TO SELL FOR HER RECOVERY!
(I hope that is read by an employee of Toshiba!).

Can anyone help or suggest where to get a recovery disc please? I tried Ebay and multiple searches on google but no assets came.

Message was edited with a mug shot by: jonbad

By the way, can someone please explain why Toshiba offer all the necessary drivers for the operating system if they do not provide you with the operating system itself - i.e., they give you a disk image which has already drivers preinstalled on it... Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, unless you had to find your own copy of windows XP, which probably won't be not work with the serial key Toshiba windows XP first and then try and download and install each driver? I do not.

    Hello

I think that you have tried to order the recovery disk by using the online store of recovery site.
You will not be able to order using this service, because the only Vista recovery disc could be ordered using this service.

In your case, I would ask an ASP in your country for this disc.
And notes; There are more FSA in your country as only.

Then perhaps you should contact several service points.

    Welcome them

This recovery is not understandable to me.
    What do you want exactly?

Is that each new Toshiba notebook comes with the image of HARD drive recovery and recovery disk must be created using the preinstalled Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.

  • F2C49PA #AB4: recovery deleted partition

partition recovery deleted it by mistake how can I original recovery image

    Prasanna-pc

Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.

Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page.  This could be an oversight by HP, or it could also mean that HP stock is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.

You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

    Good luck

  • Problems after Satellite Pro U200 has been accidentally deleted

    Hey,.

I keep having problems with my laptop Toshiba Satellite pro U200. Problems started the laptop was accidentally deleted.
I will try to describe here:

Laptop started making noise like buzz... all the time.
and it's really annoying. Never, it was so loud.
Another strange thing, it is that we continue to be: after about 4 hours of running Windows, it starts to make the buzz of his stronger and ultimately all windows just freezes. You can not move the mouse can not do anything, even ctrl + alt + del doesn't work, so I have to push turn off button for a few seconds to turn off the laptop.

I don't know what I have to do?
is this a hardware problem? If that's what should I change?
If anyone has had similar problem please share what you know with me!

    Thank you very much!

    > After about 4 hours of running Windows, it starts to make the buzz of his stronger and ultimately all the windows just freezes
I think there could be something wrong with the cooling module.
Is that your fall, the computer laptop and, consequently, the cooling module could malfunction and might makes a strange noise.

Usually, if don t cooling modules to work properly, the temperature rises to a higher level and finally the laptop begins to freeze due to a higher internal temperature.

In fact, this is just my personal opinion and I can't say with certainty what s wrong.
I think you should ask a technician for laptop for a short audit

What I can say is that it really sounds like a hardware problem

Can someone point me to a DL for a recovery disc or the correct drivers to install during the installation of Windows right?

Any help would be great appreciated!

    > Can anyone point me to a DL for a recovery...
I put t know what DL, but what I write here is followed by: original recovery image is not downloadable, and if you have the original disk recovery Toshiba for your machine, you must order it under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

If you want to install own os version, what do you think on Win7?
I mean I installed Win7 32 bit on friends L300 and it works perfectly.
