Satellite Pro T130 - unable to wake from mode 'sleep'

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro T130 running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

After installing the Wireless Update September 29, such Manager recommended by Tempro, I'm problems with an awakening of the mode standby. Most of the time my laptop just don't wake up more and all I can do is to the hard switch off and turn it back on. I tried to solve the problem by changing the configuration options of the advanced sleep mode, and it seemed to work for a while, and problems to restart again.

Please help me with this issue, it is terribly annoying to have to turn off and turn on again everytime my laptop goes into mode 'sleep', not to mention the fact that I have to take care of not to let something unregistered, to avoid losing data.

Thanks in advance.

After installing the 3G modem & updates on day of Wireless manager from 29 September, my laptop began to have trouble waking sleep mode. Most of the time I had to hard stop. • Satellite Pro T130 - Canoe turn on 3G WWAN

    Hello

    I have a Satellite Pro T130, Win7 Pro 64

I had a few problems with the Ericsson F3607gw connection, and I was wondering if this is the right place to search for answers.

    1 to 3G _ RF _ power problem

If I update to 1.4.0.10 then I can't turn on the 3G radio. There is no hardware on the laptop switch and using the software switch Fn + F8 has no effect on switching the radio on or off, it remains off. Rear winding to the power utility earlier (T3G140701 F36) makes the problem disappears, but is there a fix I missed somewhere to use the 1.4.0.10? I can live with that, unless 1.4.0.10 something that I don't know that I'm missing.

Problem 2 - Ericsson driver with ConfigFree

I've recently updated the driver package from Ericsson of R4C02 to R6A06 (Ericsson driver version 1.5.0.5). After doing this, the Ericsson 3 G connection no longer appears in the list of devices in ConfigFree! It's a bit annoying, because I can not include 3G (which I use a lot when they travel) in one of the profiles ConfigFree more. I have enable/disable the 3G connection by accessing the control panel and by using network connections.
I upgraded 8.0.23 ConfigFree 8.0.27 but this did not help.

If I missed fixes for these issues, I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

    Thank you

    Hello

AFAIK the ConfigFree software is diagnostic software and cannot be used to set up the 3 G or WiFi.

    > Rear winding for the previous electricity utility (T3G140701 F36) makes the problem disappears, but is there a fix I missed somewhere to use the 1.4.0.10? I can live with that, unless 1.4.0.10 something that I don't know that I'm missing.

If you have any problems using the old version, then you should stay with a good running version.

  • Satellite Pro T130 - WLAN stops working on battery

WLAN in Toshiba Satellite Pro T130 will not properly work on battery
Toshiba Satellite Pro T130 with Windows 7-64 bit

My Realtek RTL8191se card stops working when the notebook computer is on battery power. Everything is OK on the socket. On battery it works OK for a few seconds/minutes and then drop connectivity. The driver is 2015.1.427.2010 - the latest version.

I disabled the settings related to energy-saving WLAN cards.

Any ideas on how to find the cause of this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Chaouki

    Hey Buddy,

Well, generally, I would suggest that you should disable Windows in energy saving power management feature, but you have already done this... Make sure that this power WLAN economic option is set for maximum Performance, even for the battery mode and all power profiles!

And what BIOS up-to-date? You have the latest version of the BIOS installed or using an older version?

  • Built in mic has stopped working on my Satellite Pro T130

    Dear Forum,

the microphone of my Satellite Pro T130 15F stopped working a couple of days at a time.

    It captures the white noise.
But he responds only to knock on the place where it is located next to the built-in webcam. It does not pick up normal voice or cry out to him...

Can't bring any changes to the software that could influence.

What I've done so far: deleted drivers, installed new, updated all Toshiba Software and downloaded and run all the stuff suggested to this problem.
And of course, it is not set to mute or upgraded to the bottom.

    Still no cure.
    What's next?

    Thanks much adavance.

Hmmm, it makes a static noise? Kinda sounds like hardware related issue
But check the microphone settings in the control panel-> sound-> recording tab
Here, you should see two entries; internal microphone and external microphone port.
The internal microphone must be turned on!

In addition, the internal mic belongs to the webcam. In the assistant webcam-> settings-> audio tab, you can increase the maximum microphone volume.

  • USB drive unplugged when wake up mode 'sleep'

I use windows vista business version for my 6400 Dell insporon laptop.

When my laptop wakes mode ensures, in the wondows login procedure, it seems he disconnected from usb drives to not communicate with windows at this time. One of the USB (simpletech 2 TB) was not connected (it loses the drive letter in windows Explorer). Two other brand always connected.

If I recycle the power of this USB, it connects back.

Simple question: where can I change once and for all so that I don't have to recycle that drive usb every time when you wake up mode 'sleep' (she becomes very annoying since this USB does not start button / stop)? Personally, I think it's microsft windows 'default login procedure question' no usb drive manufacturer bug (contact usb drive tech support).

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

The problem is perhaps due to several parameters being off, and you can actually have
go through the list again. It could be you have a hardware problem with
the USB port or might have to reinstall Windows. Even if it is complex you need to use this
keep track and not as a menu.

Another possibility is to use a clean boot to see if something in startup is at least partially
in the mixture. It is the only method of control similar to your idea about the login procedure.

    Hello

What happens if you press the power button / stop 4 sec long?

Please run a HARD drive recovery procedure: (F8, fix my computer-> Toshiba HDD recovery)
Don't install any software, but test the "sleep mode" immediately after that drive HARD recovery is completed.

  • Satellite Pro L770 - 12 p - Wake-up on LAN is not possible?

    Hello

I try to send a wake up message to LAN (WOL) on my laptop to propel to the top.
I failed to make it work.

But I do not see a strange thing happening: when I send a magic packet WOL while my laptop is running, the laptop restarts automatically after closing down.

It seems that the Magic Packet is stored somewhere (perhaps in the NIC?) and is activated once the cell phone is off. I think a magic packet must be ignored when a machine has already begun and not be recorded and executed after the PC is turned off again.

That being said, I did a test with another PC; I am able to send a magic packet via my business network. So the problem isn't somewhere else. But the BIOS of my Toshiba laptop does not pick up when the machine is off. Only when it is already running.

Is this a bug and this bug can be resolved?

    Kind regards

    Alfons

PS I have the latest version of the BIOS (v2.30) and I activated the Wake Up on LAN in the BIOS.

    Hello

According to the Toshiba driver page, the last BIOS update was 09/03/12 and I doubt that this new version of BIOS which will be released in the future. The Satellite Pro L770 series is already discontinued.

However, as far as I know the reactivation of the LAN option can be found in the properties of the LAN card.
Go to Device Manager-> LAN card-> properties-> Advanced tab
Here, you should check if the WOL is enabled.

By the way: the network driver seems to be Realtek. I recommend you update the driver of network directly from the page of the Realtek driver. I know that WOL is controlled at the level of the BIOS, but I think the update is worth a try.

    Hello

Are you sure that you set the laptop on STANDBY mode and not in HIBERNATION mode?
In my case, the option works correctly if the unit is set to the mode "SLEEP".

Everything is - I am in your forum people good hands! Thanks in advance.

You have what Windows OS installed.
    It is Win XP?

Update the BIOS needs an installation of the common Modules, so don't forget not that the common Modules are installed or this software update.
The CM is on the page of the European driver Toshiba

In addition, the P0044v370.exe unpacks the package I recommend creating a folder on the desktop and to decompress the files in P0044v370.exe first. Then move to this new folder and run the exe file in the folder.
