Satellite S70 - A - 11 H - new keyboard required

Hi did anyone know where I can get an original spec keyboard for my laptop which is a Satellite of S70 - A - 11 H?

It costs about £700 and is less than 12 months old, one of the key broke and Toshiba it will cover not under warranty!

It has not been used as much as ben connected to a separate keyboard, it has not been used or omitted but I have been informed by the customer support they'll probably want to make a charge for the repair of £100 if you include the delivery of the work a VAT!

Anyone know where I can get an original spec keyboard for my laptop which is a Satellite of S70 - A - 11 H?

You can get this part from the local Toshiba authorized service provider in your country.
But the laptop was equipped with an A4 + 10key standard tile black keyboard with backlight

If the ASP is not an option for you, probably you would get this keyboard also some independent dealers online
Ask google and search using the terms: S70-A Satellite keyboard

  • Need new keyboard for Satellite A660

    Hello

I need to get a new keyboard to replace the one in my laptop Toshiba Satellite because some keys stopped working.

My computer is a Toshiba Satellite A660-PSAW3A-07P00R.

I have been looking online at different and a single list as "fitting Toshiha Satellite A660 laptop computers".

Does anyone know if different laptops of the A660 other shape series computers laptops, or I need to find the specific part that is compatible with the number of my computer?

In addition, the keyboard of my laptop doesn't have the function of backlit, but in some lists I could find that didn't function backlit.

Anyone know if the backlit keyboard is a size different from that which is not backlit and therefore it does not my laptop?

I would be very grateful of any help.

    Thank you.

When the keyboard is removed on the back side is a sticker with part number that you can use to search for and order new keyboard. In my opinion this is the best and easiest way to find a good keyboard.

Keyboard with backlight has additional cable for power and you cannot use it with our machine, so, in my opinion, there is no sense to buy it. Remove the keyboard and we part of the keypad number.

I don't know if you have experience with disassembly, but be careful if you want to do it yourself. Small mistake and something may be broken. If all this is too risky for you I recommend you to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They can order the original keyboard and switch to... I think only 20 minutes.

    Hello

Why do you think the motherboard is ok?
Maybe it s a controller keyboard problem
Did you check if the cable is correctly connected?

In my opinion if you are sure that the keyboard is ok 100% the problem to be attached to the motherboard because there is no other party that is placed between the keyboard and the mobo.

    Good bye

  • Satellite C655 - new keyboard is not working properly

I have fairly new Toshiba Satellite C655 and after spilling a (tiny) amount of soda on the upper left keyboard, the keyboard stop working completely.

After you install a new keyboard, most of the keys work except the P, V, R, T, [and space keys. External USB keyboard works perfectly. I bought another new keyboard and replaced it with care, but the problem persists. After that, I tried updating the BIOS without result.

Anyone who is familiar with this and knows how to solve the problem?

    Hello

I assume that this question was not included in the past, before the drink is spilled on the keyboard. Right?

This means that this fluid is the reason for the keyboard problem.
I guess, both new keyboards are OK.

In this case, the problem may be the motherboard or you used two keypads which are not entirely compatible. But I guess that this isn't really a problem.

Maybe you card mother is affected. :(mais c'est juste une suggestion)

  • Need new keyboard for my Satellite Pro L40

    Hi guys,.

My L40 needs a new keyboard. Can someone be kind enough to advise those who will be compatible with this?

I ask, as the last one I acquired did not even if it was listed as a keyboard for Satellite Pro L40. There were two studs raised who would keep forcing the keyboard out latches. My original keyboard didn't they.

The reference on the original keyboard number is 04GNQA1KUK00 - 2 TB. It's a Toshiba Satellite Pro L40 - PSL4BE-00M005EN.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

Wait a boyfriend of the moment! You have the original piece for the right keyboard number and now you need some info on compatible keyboard?
Sorry, but you have the info you need. I don't know where you live (assume UK) but use Google and find an electronic store where you can order absolutely the same keyboard and everything will be fine.

  • New keyboard on Satellite L500 - 19 X does not work correctly

    Hello

About a month ago, I spilled pepsi on my laptop and had sent for repair. I came home today and he had a new keyboard installed, among other things. But the new keyboard does not work properly.

A bunch of key type is close to letters instead. For example, type 'a' gives 'aq1', 'b' gives 'bgt '. It seems to type the letters vertically above. Some work very well.

Is the new defective keyboard, or is it need calibrated or something? My laptop model is L500-19 X.
    Thank you.

My advice: don't waste your time on the forum waiting for help. How do give you the right answer to your questions?
I have only one answer to your question: no, keyboard doesn t need to be calibrated.
Contact the service provider as soon as possible and ask for help.

  • New keyboard does not work on Satellite L500-13W

    Hello.

I have a Toshiba L500-13w (PSLJ3E-00X01G03) of the problems with the keyboard. The keyboard does not work. Already tested under windows, or to access the bios.
I bought a new keyboard and changed. It does not work. Any way to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    What happened with the laptop?
You spill some kind of liquid on the keyboard maybe?

The keyboard is connected to the motherboard with a flat cable
If the keyboard on the motherboard controller was not damaged, then new keyboard should work

  • Noisy fan on Satellite S70-B-10Z

    Hello

I have a problem with my satellite S70-B-10Z.
The laptop is not so cool in recent months as it used to be. In fact is getting really hot on the right side of the keyboard. There is also a noise coming from the fan. I checked the tha fan speed and when I have the only window Chrome (or any other window browser) active he actually reached 82% of the speed of the fan and remains constant. I've updated everything (bios, graphics card intel, amd, graphics etc.) and managed to reduce the heat a little and now the fan speed has reached 82% sometimes, but not continuously. However, this continues to happen very often.

Is this normal? Is there a problem with the fan?

I should mention that I sent to the support toshiba here in Greece and they told me that they cleaned but the problem still after that.

I had the same problem. I opened the back and I replaced my fan. I also noticed that she had a lot of dust in the fan.
