Satellite T110 - wireless works beside router

Hello

My wireless was working fine until about 3 days ago and all of a sudden I started having problems. Basically, the wireless only works when I'm sitting next to the router. As soon as I if away (more than 5 meters), it starts to cut. Sometimes it will connect and then keep unplugged, sometimes it appears as if there is no connection, and other times it says its connected but I can't open Web pages. My laptop roommates is all internet connection no problem there must be something with my computer.

I tried to update the drivers, I checked the settings that have been reported as common issues (Protocol for obtain an IP and DNS address automatically, saving), but nothing works. I even did a system restore to the he worked snack updates have changed something, but that no longer works.

I'm not that great with computers, so I don't know what could be wrong or what else to try, and I'm going crazy!

Can someone please give me some advice?

Thank you!!

Hello
Have you tried rebooting your WLAN connectivity route or try somewhere else, just to check if the same thing will happen again. I guess some of your friends has WIFI router so, if possible, make small WLAN test it.

  • Satellite L300 wireless works do not with my particular brand of modem

Hello, I really need help here.

My laptop is Toshiba Satellite L300, and I got it since April. I can't connect wireless via the modem I have here at home (netgear DGN2000).
I can connect to other modems however. I've updated my wireless with Atheros card, but its still does not.
If anyone has any suggestions please please please help!

    Thank you

If you can connect to other routers on that it is proof that your laptop WLAN module works properly.
In my opinion you cannot connect to your one because of wrong settings on your router.

Your laptop detects your router? Your router is visible for Satellite L300?

  • Satellite T110 - Wireless disappeared and can not re - activate

Recently, I have a 3 month old toshiba satellite, the problem I have is that when I initially shot to the top of the laptop the wireless light was extinguished, and the Fn F8 combo did not work. The light is on but only active / disable bluetooth. I don't see the device wireless network, only the LAN card settings.

I reinstalled the wireless drivers, and this has not solved the problem. Toshiba radar indicates that the wireless device is disabled but I don't know how to activate it.
It worked about 2 weeks ago and I was able to connect wirelessly without problem.

Any assistance before considering again at the store.

    Hello

Normally you can toggle the WIFI connection if you press the FN + F8 key combination.

If that doesn t work, I would recommend updating BIOS. You can find the latest version on the Toshiba site.

  • Satellite T110-121 - Wireless does not work after sleep in Win7 Home Prem 64

    Hello

    Problem:

    1. after going into Sleep Mode, when he wakes up, my WIFI does not work, unless I'm in wireless network card setting, Advanced tab, then I change the Tx to say 100% to 75% power level, then the WLAN will work.

    2. I tried to adjust the setting for power management on the network card for maximum performance and does not disable during sleep and also in the Bios but nothing is

    3. I use Realtek 8191SE drivers have been updated (wireless card, Ethernet, Bios)

    Thank you

As much I know Tx power level option must be set to Auto.
Have you noticed the same behavior with Auto option?

  • WLan disconnects when Satellite T110-107 of router

    I ve a Satellite T110-107 * with windows 7/64-bit

Linking the T110 in my home network wireless works perfectly near the router.
When I move away from it drops wireless.

Previously, he worked far away from the router.
I tested with other machines and the wireless still works well on them... I've already updated the driver, but the problem persists.

    What can I do more?

    Thank you

    > Before, it worked far away from the router.

What have you changed in the past?
Maybe something in the settings of the WLan router?

What about the Wan channel option (1-12) that can be set in the settings of the Wlan router?
I recommend you to check different channels.

In addition you should go to power options Windows and need to disable for the WLan in advanced energy saving power settings

  • Satellite T110 - 10K do not access D.Link, DIR-635 router

Despite the fact that my laptop at home is excellent work and have access to a Zyxel wireless router constantly, I can't access the DIR-635. I recognize the router, enter the network acess code but after hard try reports: "it is not possible to access the network xxxxxxxx."
I've updated the driver software on my Satellite T110 - 10K, but I stll unsuccessful.
    Can anyone help?

    > Despite the fact that my computer laptop at home is excellent work and have constant access to a Zyxel wireless router I can't seem to access the DIR-635

This means that there is no problem with the laptop or WLan driver because you are able to connect to my Zyxel router!

I think you should check the configuration of the other router DIR-635
Check the encryption settings, ssid (wireless network name), the type of encryption, filtering by mac address, channel WiFi (my router uses channel 11)

  • Satellite T110-11U - cannot find the router WLAN

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite T110-11U. Have had since February and loved it-fortunately it wireless used throughout the House. Then one day on a month, unless I was in the same room that the wireless router, Wireless does not work. I have 2 other laptops (and iPhone) which still connect wirelessly throughout the House and the garden without problem.
As you can imagine, it was very strange. When I take in the garden, my other laptops are all networks wireless in the region, but my Toshiba can't find any.

Suspecting it was a driver problem, I made sure that the wireless drivers are up-to-date. With no joy, I got the system as it was at the time of purchase (do a complete restoration by interupting, starting and leaving the hard drive to be deleted and reinstalled etc.). Still the same problem. I even changed the rooms in which the router is, and the same problem - the Toshiba cannot find the router unless the router is located a few meters from the laptop.

Until I lose the will to live, can anyone suggest the cause of my problems, or is it time I admitted defeat and brought back to the Comet under warranty (where likely test next to a wireless router and tell me everything is fine!).

    Thank you very much

    Steve.

    Hey Buddy,

Did you check if the wireless network card is recognized correctly in the Device Manager? There may be a yellow exclamation or unknown device. Try also updating the driver WLAN from Toshiba Web site:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

    See all other WLAN routers?
The wireless network card can be activated using a combination of keys FN + F8 and in the BIOS. In the BIOS, you should also load default settings and test again.

  • Satellite T110-11U - WiFi only works in one piece

WiFi on my LP used to work perfectly in every room of the House, but since I installed Norton Antivirus it works in my room (where is the router) and nowhere else.

However, other laptops work well in other parts. I thought is was because of Norton Antivirus and I reinstalled it, but this did not help. It is already 3 months since then and my LP only gets the signal in my room. Then he had a problem to get the signal even in about 3 meters distance. I already checked the router wirelessly with the provider, and there is no problem with him. The problem is in my laptop. I've updated the drivers, but not luck. I have a Toshiba Satellite T110-11U, Windows 7 Home Premium.

If anyone can give me any advice in this regard would be very appreciated!

    Hey Buddy,

Maybe there are still some registry keys for Norton Antivirus stored in the Windows registry, I would try a registry cleaner like CCleaner. It is freeware tool really nice to clean the registry.

    Hello

After manually installing windows 7 32 bit on my satellite T110-13R after formatting drive C:, my wireless card does not want to connect, and fn + f8 does not work.

The wireless card appears in the device management, but does not connect and no network is detected.

    All other functions are OK.

After downloading several drivers on the support, nothing changes...

Want to restore in a factory with f8 at startup state, HDD TOSHIBARECOVERY function is not available.

Excuse me for my bad English

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

If your laptop comes with Win7 64 bit home premium and that you have installed your installation image of the origin of the 32-bit HARD drive can no longer be started. It works with the factory only settings.

Have you installed Toshiba Value added Package?
Don't forget the wireless network adapter is correctly enabled. Yu can do it with the help of tool ConfigFree too.

  • Satellite T110-10 x - LED WAN wireless turn does not on

    Hi guys,.

I have this model * T110-10 x * and I was wondering what should the front LED for Wireless WAN should be flashing or turning?
It comes to the specifications of the model page:
    [http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-T110-10X/1076616/ | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-T110-10X/1076616/]

I bought the USB 3 G modem which works fine, but I was just curious to know if the laptop must have a built-in 3G modem, and if yes, what is the meaning of the key FN and the LED as this model does not have a built-in modem.

    Thank you.

    Hi mate

Please take a look in the user manual which must be preinstalled on the laptop.
There is information that the FN buttons in combination with the F1 - F12 keys would have enabled some features/options.
The WAN/Wlan can also be switched on and off using the FN key!

    >.. .should forward for Wireless WAN LED should be flashing or rotating
The LED must be lit and it not blink...

  • Satellite T110 - WLan connection has recently stopped working

I have a Toshiba Satellite T110 with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Wireless has recently stopped working with the yellow exclamation mark showing above the symbol of the unit.

Looking at the pilot management screen, the following message appears.

"This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

Nothing I have tried seems to shake this error.
I tried the Toshiba assist diagnostic tool. It simply says that the wireless connection failed his test.

I don't know how problem was that the system worked for about three weeks, without a hitch, but I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this problem.

I could try a rebuild, but I prefer not to lose my OS.

    > "This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

I think that there is a simple solution; error message is clear enough; It is said that the driver cannot be loaded this means something has happened to the Wlan driver
In my opinion you should visit the European driver of Toshiba page and should download and reinstall Wlan driver again!

  • Satellite T110-121 - slow wireless connectivity

Hi there, hope someone can help me.

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite [T110-121 | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-T110-121/1080681/toshibaShop/false/] laptop and it's absolutely great in every way, but it connects to my router wireless less than 512 Kbps.

I have an another Toshiba laptop, I am about to sell ([U30013U | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?service=UK&com.broadvis ion.session.new = Yes & PRODUCT_ID = 137279]) and the wireless speed is normally around 15mbps. All other laptops that were already connected to my wireless router are normally not less than 15mbps.

The T110-121 is super fast when it is connected through ethernet, therefore, the problem lies only in the part things wireless.
My router is a netgear dg834g, and I'm on DSL of the Virgin.

The only major difference between my two laptops from Toshiba is the new are listed as being supported network: 802.11b/g/n connectivity and my oldest with the connection the faster is listed as: a/b/g. This would make much difference?

I should also add that I removed all potentially problematic pre-installed software, such as Mcafee and I use Avast.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

There is a difference between simple standards of WLan 802.11 A, B, G or N.
If your router supports 802.11 G or N then I would recommend choosing 802.11 N Router and the settings of the Wlan because the 802.11 standard card standard is the fastest and the most recent.

Please check if the wireless network card is configured properly. You can do this in-Wlan card-> Advanced tab > Device Manager.
You could improve also the unique parameters and performance of WLan.

Last but not least, please check the Windows 7 power management because the WLan performance might be decreased in for safe battery power.

An update of the WLan driver should be judged as well.

  • Satellite T110-107 - Reboot does not work properly

When the power button is pushed to the power and wireless lights, fan whirs a minute then nothing more happens. If I remove the battery and leave it for 30 minutes then it starts fine when you push the power button. Currently abroad, but have access to the internet.

    Running Windows 7.

    Suggestions welcome!

    Hey Buddy,

Since when did you notice this problem and have changed something on the hardware configuration?

It is difficult to say why it happens but it must be a hardware problem, you still have it installed the newer version of the BIOS for Satellite T110? You can download it from the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

But before you start the update, close all running programs (also AntiVirus and firewall).

  • Satellite M200 - wireless XP driver does not work

    Hello

I downgrade to Windows XP to my laptop Toshiba Satellite M200 coz Vista was slow, but now my wireless drivers do not work.
I tried many drivers but the result is the same. Please suggest a solution.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

Satellite M200 is unknown to me and I don t know where you ve bought but it seems that Satellite M200 is designed for the Australia and after the download page of the laptop must have Intel WLAN card.
The question is: is your card properly installed WLAN?
You have a problem with the installation of the WLAN card or feature?

Drivers wireless work not don t mean a lot to me. Does that mean exactly?

By the way: can you post the exact model number?

  • Satellite A100-998 - O2 broadband router wireless number

I have the laptop above. It connects fine to the Netgear routers and other but won't connect wirelessly to a router from O2. I am using the WEP key OK but after that the network is acquired nuer automatic DHCP and DNS assignment etc, I have limited or no connectivity message.

I uninstalled the wireless network card, reinstalled, updated the driver (Intel 3945) and does not different.

I know the default gateway, the DNS Server data and the subnet and have tried to enter this as fixed information in the area of adequate properties for the wireless card, give my portable IP apropriate to be agreed. I also deleted all the networks without wire already connected. No change.

It is not a firewall issue as I stopped the firewall still no effective connection.

I can connect via LAN to the router of the O2 using the same fixed data, by the way.

    The data are:

    Default gateway 192.168.1.254
    Subnet 255.25.255.0
    DNS 192.168.1.254
192.168.1.69 for LAN IP address (but the latest issue up to 254 should work as long as it is not a duplicate of an existing one, which is not)

There is no security MAC operation and others in the same building have no wireless connection problem. If I look at the router admin pages, my laptop is shown as one device as well as all others who are connected.

Oddly enough, I also couldn't connect wirelessly with my EEE PC (Linux OS and Atheros wifi card). I get the message "not enough leases of work." I never no problem elsewhere, so I think it's a problem of router-side. Toshiba is aware of this problem? If so, is there a solution, apart to change the router, I prefer not to do what he's going to disturb others in the House and cost me money.

    Thanks for any help.

Toshiba or any other manufacturer of the laptop / desktop has nothing to do with the router you use for LAN or WLAN connection. If you are 100% sure that the network card wireless on your Toshiba laptop works properly it is the end of history.
