Save a LLB VI as autonomous VI

I received a Bachelor's degree in LAW.

I only need a VI thereof.

I can't understand how to do a save as for a VI.

When you have discovered VI, you should be able to do a save as... then another location outside the LLB after you choose how you want to make the backup.

It works for me at least.

The VI will remain as a copy of the original in the LLB little matter how do you save it, so if you want to remove from the LLB after that, you must use management Bachelor of RIGHT to delete the original.

  • Using Lightroom 5 as it is autonomous to convert RAW, then save to CS2?

I am a professional photographer, and I am perfectly happy with my version of CS2 in Photoshop, I can get it to do what I need, without having to spend another $600 on the latest version.

Unfortunately the new camera that I bought has CS6, or 4-5 Lightroom to process RAW files.  Can I just buy Lightroom and use it as a stand-alone product, and then save the file in tiff format to continue work on this subject in my CS2?

Yes, you can do it. You can designate Photoshop CS2 as external editor. When you choose to edit in Photoshop, you will receive a warning that camera raw is obsolete, and you can choose to make a copy with Lightroom adjustments. You can set up Lightroom so that the copy will be a PSD or TIF image. I think most of the people prefer to TIF. Then you can tell Lightroom does not show this option more. From there to the front any when you choose to edit in Photoshop Lightroom will create the TIF image and transmit it. When you save the changes in Photoshop these changes that will be included in the TIF image that is in the Lightroom Catalog.

  • Save the distribution source for the previous version

    Hello

I am trying to use the tool run a Labview VI in VBAI. I use LV2013 SP1 and VBAI 2013. The step run a VI Labview gives me an error saying "this step supports LV2012 or earlier. When I record to LV12, this time an error comes up saying "the VI has not been compiled for the specified remote target or it is not registered with LV12." After I read the forums and help documents, I see that this problem can be solved with the recording of the VI for distribution (LLB).

But when I open the project, it becomes LV2013 and LLB built as LV2013. So I go back to the first step, saying: "this step supports LV2012.."

    How can I build a source like LV12 distribution using LV13? I couldn't find a solution.

You can either download a 2012 version (ask your local sales engineer because it's an older version), or

"Save your VI as" for 2012 and post the zip files exported to the Commission on conversion. Can someone respond and wrap your files in 2012 VI + llb ^^

  • cRIO save question

    Hi all

I have a cRIO 9074 sampling and save a lot of data... I did save all my data (in binary format) with no problems at all. However, my problem is that because the amount of data being recorded is very large, experience running for about an hour should completely fill the hard drive of the cRIO (about 300 MB). So I thought to cut the data by downloading the data to the local host PC files every 10 minutes all at the same time remove each file to the hard drive of the cRIO. This occurs when the RT process is running. It seems that the system cannot face this strategy that in some cases during the RIO VI download freezes and lost all control.

Apart from the addition of a larger hard drive (assuming I can actually do), is there any other, software based, way to deal with this situation?

Thanks a lot for your time,.

    Harry

    Hello

Transfer of data via TCP/IP will be faster than the transfer via FTP.  The fundamental difference lies in the fact that you transfer the data directly using TCP/IP (as an array of 2d of acquired data, waveforms, strings etc.) as opposed to a file of type FTP.

If you have two options when you are using TCP/IP:

    1. transfer the data stored in the file (cRIO) periodically

    2. transfer the actual data to host with or without storage in cRIO.

The host contains the logic to receive the data and store it in the file.

Take a look at the example vi: "C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 2009\examples\comm\TCP.llb\Data Server.vi and Client.vi of data" which gives good idea about TCP/IP communications.

  • Add screws to LLBs - is there an easy way?

    Hi all

I have a question on the use of the LLB Manager to make a LLB file.  Currently, I have a bunch of screws in a LabVIEW project and want to add to a Bachelor's degree in LAW (or new).  The only way I found to do this is by entering each VI and performing a ' Save as ' and saving the VI in the LLB.  There is no simple way to drag / drop the screws into a LAW degree?  Or maybe even a recording/import batch in the LLB?

    Thank you!

I think you can create a Distribution Source of your code and indicate it should go in a Bachelor's degree in LAW.  Alternatively, you can use the screws in vi.lib\utility\libraryn.llb to write a utility that would settle all your screws in a Bachelor's degree in LAW.

  • Rename LVLIB containing LLB

Please can someone corrects me if I try to use the structures of LabVIEW files incorrectly.

I built a free figure instrument driver - contained in a LVLIB

It refers to a code written by the H/W manufacturer which was provided in a LAW degree.

    Problem:

The whole point of going to the rout of the LVLIB, when I get another variant of the H/W that requires different parameters or discussions on a different protocol speed (but use the same command, the value set, but the manufacturer in the LLB), I want to create a new LVLIB for the new project, I am working on so that my S/W modules match the H/W modules.

When I do cela LLB references are falling apart and need to use with Manager of LLB.

If I save the save LVLIB corrupts.

Is there a solution to this issue - other than to remove the code from the LLB?

    James

You could simply not include the LLB in the lvlib. It seems to me that the lvlib is for your code, rather than a set of third-party code, so, technically, the LLB shouldn't really be in the lvlib. You can also simply convert the LLB to a directory, because the LLB is simply a container of fancy. (I'm not sure if that's what you mean by removing the code of the LLB).

  • How can I individual files contained in a llb file md5 sum?

How can I individual files contained in a llb file md5 sum?

I'll assume you know how to get the value of MD5. If it isn't... http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/MD5/m-p/1067558

The LLB acts as a container. So, you will need to extract the files of the LLB and save them as individual files, so that you can calculate the MD5 checkusm for each file. LabVIEW is a built-in LLB Manager which can be used to convert a LAW degree to a directory of files.

Note: If you use the LLB to store your screws during development, it is a BAD idea (control of source code, a file corruption problems corrupts all LLB, nightmare of development distributed, etc...). LLBs must be used for the distribution of the code, and if you need a MD5 for that, you could just provide the MD5 for the Bachelor of LAW, rather than the MD5 for each file.

  • How to access MyLV8.5.llb of Main.vi?

I have a LabVIEW6.1 library, MyLV8.5.llb, which I would like to integrate with my program calling Main.vi LV8.5. How can I know the LV8.5 compiler to search for MyLV8.5.llb my subsidiary screws of implementation, rather than go through a whole long (timewise) research in NI LabVIEW program files, ending in failure of research?

    Thank you

Whenever LabVIEW can not find a Subvi, you are prompted to locate him. When you do this, save the main VI and you will not be asked again.

  • How to save the string in a file with some special characters

    Hello

    I m using MD5 - llb to create a password.

So, I want to save this MD5-string to a file and read it later abd compared again.

    Works perfectly with a proplem:

Some Word create a '\r' in the string of MD5 and when I save this string in a file and read it at the time its read as a '\n' for the comparison does not work.

My question is: How can I record a string exactly as if it were somewhere and read back (also the invisible characters)

    For example, the word: heinz

is in MD5: \r\FB^\07\A6\07T\C7\D9\C2\94\AB\C9\1DS\95 (string as display codes indicator)

When I save the string in a file, then I rerad back: \n\FB^\07\A6\07T\C7\D9\C2\94\AB\C9\1DS\95

I used the "write text file" and "read text file".

What should I use to record and play back the same thing?

    Hello!

Just use the drag-and - drop in the LLB Manager. His work. Useful if the file already exists:

Or file-> save as... and select LLB and save directly to LLB as Mike mentioned. This usefully for new files.

  • weight light autonomous vs

I have a remote site that will require about 15 APs. I was wondering if there was a rule when you have to go light autonomous vs. I feel independent would be the answer with this small configuration because this would save money and 15 must be easy to manage. But I know they make a wireless for 6 AP controller I welcome different opinions.

    Hello

I have not heard of a rule on a number, but for 15 I would go with a controller. Easier to manage and support and create strategies. There is a 2125 model that supports 25AP. If you want to use the location of Cisco device, the AP must be lwapp.

Here is a good article that I ran.
