Save as a Message

I am a printing problem!  When I try to print, a message appears to "save under" an xps file.  I went and got a new printer thinking that was the issue but I just installed a new and the same message appears.  I put a new one by default, and it still happens.  What can I do?

Method 1:
 
Make sure your printer is configured by default, because this problem can occur if Microsoft XPS Document Writer has the default value instead. Just right click on your printer and select the default setting.
 
To do this:
 
a. click the Start button.
b. click Control Panel.
c. Select devices and printers.
d. make sure that the default printing device is set to the printer.
 
Method 2:
 
You can try to run a program from the Microsoft Web site that automatically diagnoses and repairs printing problems, installation of a printer, connecting to a network printer and other related errors. To do this, click on this link and follow the instructions:

    You can interectp SMS only when they arrive. Once you receive the SMS, you can read and format your TEXT and save it to your persistence or use the file system to store SMS. When you want to view, read the SMS persitance and display in the format that you want in your application.

    The method you describe will save all messages in a folder at a time. The attachments are saved, but not any remote content.

    Simple messages can be saved in the windows folder in a format selectable 'save as type' - eml, txt, html.
    Groups of messages are stored in the folder selected as EML files only. There is no option ' Save as '.

    Saved messages can be opened by the appropriate windows program, generally a text editor for txt - Notepad files.

    To save a group of messages

    In Thunderbird, open the folder to view messages.
    CTRL + A to select all messages
    Right-click for context menu,
    Select 'record under... '
    Navigate to a folder in the left pane,
    Press onSelect the folder " "

    All the selected messages will be saved in the selected folder. There is no confirmation to save.

    If one or more of the messages already exist in this folder (messages where the subject is the same), you will be asked to confirm each replacement, there is no option "replace all." This could be a problem if you try to archive messages in an existing folder. You can replace a previous message that has the same subject line.

    Windows treats the files in this folder as normal, no preview of the content, not searchable by Thunderbird.
    Is it really what you want?

    I have an email which I want to keep for future reference.  If I just leave it on the HUB, I'm afraid that I may accidentally delete by mistake.  However, I can't find any way to save it.  Also, in my email HUB I can't create a folder of recorded message.

    Can someone advise please how to record a message?

    Thanks for your help.  I called Godaddy.  Because I use a POP account, I can't add a folder saved on my account but emails are not deleted from the server after deleting in Z10.

    An IMAP will allow me to add a saved mail folder, but the messages will be deleted from the server after deleting in Z10.

    In this context, I decided to keep waiting on the server is much more important and so I decided to keep things as they are.  Your help is appreciated by which I can make an informed decision.

    2. do you use the Windows backup feature to backup?

    3. What is the size of the data you are trying to add or backup?

    4. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    5. have you installed third-party backup utility?

    Follow the mentioned methods:

    Method 1: Check if these two services are running:

    A. Volume Shadow Copy service

    B. backup Windows

    Also to ensure that their dependency services are running. You can check this information from services.msc. Follow the steps below to check the services.

    (a) go to start and type services.msc in the search box.

    (b) search for both services.

    (c) make a right click on the service, one at a time.

    (d) select Properties.

    (e) go to start type.

    (f) select Auto

     

    Method 2:

     

    Run the disk check to find and fix errors on the disc.

    (a) click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.

    (b) at the prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and press to enter.

    (c) try to save and check the result.

    I'll send you a fixed version of your file.  We discovered a problem with fractional percentages in min-width, max-width, min-height and max-height.  If this happens again, you should check to make sure that you don't have the fractional percentages in these environments.

    Apple says that iCloud is able to backup:

    iMessage, text (SMS) messages MMS (requires the SIM that was used during backup) (https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12519?locale=en_US)

    Attachments (pictures, videos, voicemails, etc.) come from different conversations (person 1 person 2 person 3) included and it will be restored to each individual conversation (person 1 person 2 person 3)?

    MMS = message photos or videos... so yes, it is part of the backup...

    I haven't lost a photo to a message from my iPhone 3 g from my now 6 s iPhone using iTunes backup... would be the same for the icloud backup too.

    • What email provider do you use?
    If you are downloading or recording of any HTML page, it will create the name of the folder because the HTML page also includes HTML support files that can be used offline.

    Trying to backup my Storm using the Desktop Manager.

    It strengthened once last week.

    what I did to try to remedy this:

    Taken to Verizon today and they said it saved OK

    On my laptop:

    Remove the old backup

    reinstalled Destop Manager

    In the storm:

    Memory cleaned

    Restart the BB (& removed SIM card)

    hook, start backup, turns for a few seconds and stops on 'map file' displays the error message

    Went to VZNavigator where there is card files, impossible to find some kind of delete them with the exception of favorite.

    Re run backup now it get error on "options for the smart card.

    Under ADVANCED in the backup menu, there is nothing to Smatcard

    Don't know what else to do! Help!

    Make sure that you clear your browser's cache before attempting to use the backup in DM.  Open the browser - BB - then Options - Cache operations... click on clear all the items.

    After that, do your backup and everything should work perfectly!

    I do a lot of scanning to PDF and will often add a page newly digitized to an existing pdf archived and then resave it.

    I have a very consistent workflow and use both screens. The folders that contain the files are still on my second monitor while I work on the main screen.

    After that I inserted the page newly digitized in the existing pdf very often I get an error Impossible to save the file:

    The file may be read-only or another user can open. Please save the document under a different name or in a different folder.

    I'm the only user, none of the files are read-only, and I am sure that the file I'm re-record is not enabled (I see that on my second screen).

    Sometimes, if I click on the second screen to another folder, he'll let re-register me, but other times I have to close the Windows Explorer completely.

    I would avoid renaming of files: it is important to keep the name of the original file.

    This seems to happen a lot more with Acrobat X Pro version 9. It's very embarrassing.

    No known workaround solution?

    If Windows Explorer is "focused" on the file (for example, the file selected) or has the "focus" on the parent or the files folder/directory you get the alert dialog box.

    Close Windows Explorer or place its development d.

    In addition, if the preview feature is used for files in a folder (or in a nested subfolder files) you will experience similar "speed humps" in the path of the workflow.
