Save the Images in the Clipboard of Microsoft LifeCam

I'm looking to use the LifeCam for a project of indexing and need the ability to record still images in the Clipboard, then I can easily paste it into another application.  I know that I can take pictures and save the files, but is there a way to save the Clipboard?  I know a screenshot or tool cutting for this, but I don't want to draw on the screen capture area and I want only the image, not the rest of the window.

Y at - it a 3rd party software that would allow me to take a picture with the webcam on the Clipboard?

Hello

Unfortunately, we are unable to store files directly in the Clipboard of the Microsoft Lifecam.

Clipboard application stores data when the command copy is initiated otherwise it won't store.

    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

    Hello crazypokemon,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forums.

Sometimes computers do not always perfectly work as expected, and we need to make changes to get the equipment to work.

Since you get an error message when you try to install the Lifecam software and States error installation is already in progress, I would like to use the Windows Installer Cleanup tool. Click here to download the cleaning tool. You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

Once you have installed the tool, right-click on the installation executable and select "Run as Administrator". Then a list of programs is listed. Select the Lifecam software you want to uninstall. This will remove all corrupted files installation. Then restart the software installation.

Hope this will help get your software installed and working tools.

  • Copy to the Clipboard, method (Table) copy an extra empty column more than expected

    Hello

I use the copy to the Clipboard method for a Table, for example copy 4 rows with 3 columns. When I paste in Excel I get 4 rows with 3 columns and an additional column, which is empty, then the actual size is 4 x 4.

Is it a mistake to Labview or can someone there explain to me why this is happening? Or better yet, how can I fix it?

I've isolated the problem to an additional vi so that you can reproduce the error. Just let the vi run once and then paste the Clipboard to Microsoft Excel.

  • My Microsoft LifeCam program gives me a message that: "there are no cammera connected to this computer.

A few months ago, I unplugged my computer to go to my friends for a LAN party House, when I am back and plugged my LifeCame VX 2000, and started the software called Microsoft LifeCam, it gave me a message telling me that there is no cammera connected to the computer.

I then went to the Device Manager and it says I have a vega USB 2.0 connected and nothing on a Microsoft LifeCam.

I also went to check on Skype and he also said I have a vega 2.0 USB connected.

Another strange thing is that only the microphone of this "vega USB 2.0' works on Skype and not video.

I have windows 7 ultimate 64-bit, I defenitely have the system requirements, because after all, it's a gaming PC.

I have the latest drivers for and software as far as I'm concerned, because I checked in the device for Update Manager and he told me that all my drivers are up to date.

    Hello

    Method 1.
With LifeCam VX 2000 connected in the not working USB Port...

    (a) open the Device Manager and search for imaging devices -> Microsoft LifeCam VX 2000 and Uninstall. (no need to remove the system drivers, can leave installed)

    (b) now search sound, video and game controllers -> Microsoft LifeCam VX 2000 and Uninstall. (also good can leave the drivers in the system, no need to delete)

    (c) now unplug the webcam not workingUSB port, wait a few secconds andplug a job.

succesfully d) wait a while until it initialized in the system.

((e) now doing exactly the same things, as described in stage a) and b).

    (f) now change ports USB again, wait that it is properly installed in the system sayingready to use.

After this webcam should work and Microsoft LifeCam application should detect it in the first USB port which did not work before, saying"There is no camera connected to this computer".

Now check if the camera initializes and also if she also works in Skype.

    Method 2.
If the problem persists, you can see the methods listed in the section below.
Set the empty preview, "initialization error" or 'no camera not connected' error in the LifeCam software

  • Save the table/chart as an image file

    Hi all

I wonder if there is any way I can save the graph Microsoft graph/with the data as an image file (jpg, etc.)? I need the image on the same file saved under the Microsoft Graph graph/so that the program is running. She should have black and non-white colors.

I knew how to do it in matlab but don't know how to do it in labview. Can someone help me with an example Vi that can do it in labview 2009?

    Thank you!

It's pretty easy. Just create the image for the chart and use one of the screws the graphic format:

Note: This is also explained in the Help of LabVIEW.

  • take screenshot and saves the image to a PNG file

    Hello

How do I take screenshot and save the image as a PNG file?

    Thank you

    Avivit.

If you want a picture of façade one VI, you can use the method to obtain images of Panel (or the Tool of Capture of Code, which offers a range of screws for this).

If you want a picture of the entire screen, you can simulate a button on the print screen, using the method of Clipboard.Get Image Application class to get a picture of the contents of the Clipboard. If you are looking for "screenshot" you should probably find a few examples already.

  • Windows Photo Gallery does not save the edited images.

I have problems editing contrast and red-eye with Windows Photo Gallery.  I get rid of the red eye and change the brightness, close gallery and get an error message "an error prevents photo library to save this image."  The image isn't 'read only', it is a jpeg file, and I am the owner/user.  I edited many other images, but now it restricts me to do these as well as a few others that I've ever edit.  Any ideas on what's going on?

    Hello sjleite,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

If you encounter problems, saving images edited when you could before, I would ask

If you have installed the 3rd party software that may interfere with the Windows Photo Gallery.

    (1) If you have a third Party photo editing software, try removing it and see if that doesn't

    correct your problem.

    (2) other forums, I found several mentions to be a problem with a corrupted author field. Look in the file properties Details page. You can get the properties on the photo in question, scroll to the right section of author and origin and remove characters. Select apply and close the file. If the field of copyright has no characters to remove, try adding a few characters and then delete them.

    (3) the last thing to try is to check the permission on the Windows Photo Gallery.

Go at the beginning and list programs. Right-click on the icon of photo gallery windows live and go to properties. Select tab security put highlight the Everyone group, click the button change. Put a control under all permissions allow. Then do the same for the users group. Click on apply or OK.

If please post again and let us know if these suggestions helped solve your problem or if you need further assistance.

  • Photo Gallery can't save the edited images

My Gallery of photos will not save modified pictures.  He did it when I got the computer back in the spring.  I installed Kodak EasyShare software after that and it seems that is about the time when the problem started in the photo gallery.  What options will I get solve this without doing a system restore?  What are the negative aspects of restoring my computer?  Thank you very much!  I don't really know anything about computers.

    Hi computer_illiterate,

If you are experiencing problems saving images edited when you could before, I recommend you to uninstall the Kodak software and check if you are able to save the images.

  • MS paint does not correctly save the images

Hey guys.  I have a slight problem.  Whenever I close a Microsoft Paint Document that is saved, the next time I open it there are small dots of random colors that "mix" with the image.  However, this is problematic because then the paint bucket will fill only the portion that is not discarded.  After several times to open and close the document, the pictures are also very badly tainted.  I have a Windows Vista, who has not yet upgraded to Windows Seven.  This is my first post here, so I don't really know what (if any) additional information is required.

    Thank you! :)

    Hi-

I don't know if the problem has been corrected, but if not, I found a possible solution.

I lived the same problem for a while, and I recently thought about it. If you save in JPG format, the tasks of random colors seems to occur. I tried to save the 24 - bit card ' shape and it seems to eliminate the problem. I hope this works for you also.

    (3) I copied the info from a tech forum on
the net... I don't know if it works, but maybe it's
    worth a try:

    A. right click on Task Manager open the
taskbar on the bottom of your screen and choosing
The task in the menu Manager.

    B. click the tab process, along the upper part of the
    The Task Manager screen.

    C. in the process tab, select the corresponding button at the bottom
left of the screen that says "show processes of.
all users"and click on it. Click 'Continue' to the UAC

    D. the screen should turns off a moment, then
back with much more than process listed. Click

    Search:

    "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpnetwk.exe"

Read the description in the next section on:

Windows Media Sharing Service reader network

    F. click on this process. Click the end «»
Treat button"at the bottom right of the screen.
    Confirm 'End process' if necessary.

You should now be able to save your changes to
