Save zoom in safari

Hello

There is something that really bugs me for some time:

In safari (the last one) is not an option to save your settings to zoom like chrome, firefox, etc...

It is very annoying, whenever I went to a Web site, I need to click on the zoom button to enlarge the site, when I close safari, zoom settings simply stopped. What can I do to save her? I have used firefox for a while, but I want to just go back to safari.

Thank you!

Hello

Unfortunately, it's impossible, 'save' a zoom value in Safari for this you will need to use Chrome or Firefox.

You can try the Extension Safari Zoom > https://safari-extensions.apple.com/?q=zoom

  • Zoom of Safari do not using full window

Is anyone else seeing this... in the last 2-3 days that some sites (but not all) behave as expected or desired in Safari when I "zoom". Previous behavior (what I want) is for the entire page in the window of the browser to expand I have to zoom (and vice versa when I Zoom out).

Instead, the page seems to be divided into images and content within each vertical frame performs a zoom, but not the width of the frame itself. The result is that the zoom will not use all of the available window width.

Image #1 is the default zoom HuffPost.

Image #2 is after I zoomed in a few levels.

Notice how the text in the 'frame' (with white background) Center got a lot bigger, but it doesn't have the framework. Zoom does not use the full width available to the window as she always did before. Note that the links-spills bar now off the frame to the right. Clearly a problem of rendering here.

    Software conflict maybe?

    MacOS 10.11.13

    Safari 9.0.3

    MacBook Pro with the retina

    Oops.   I found my problem.

There is a new item on the menu display of Safari... at least, I have never noticed before... called 'zoom text only '.  Somehow, which was fixed. Disabling this feature allowed to zoom to behave as you wish.

I'll leave this message upward in the other case travels through it also.

  • How to keep zooming in safari?

    Hello

I don't know how to keep the size of my zoom because of safari by default settings are too small, working overtime, I open a page I have to click on "cmd +" to get better size view?

    Help me please.

    Hi Ladyone,

Looks like you have adjusted the font size minimum in Safari preferences, but fonts aren't quite big enough, so you want to know if there is another option in addition to zoom.

The article below describes the steps you already mentioned and it describes also some extra options that you may find useful.

OS X El Capitan: make it easier to see what is on the screen

Also, you can always adjust the size of all text and objects on the screen by changing the resolution of the screen as shown here:

  • After upgrading to IOS 9.1 my iPad2 crashes constantly and Safari takes more than 30 seconds for the loading of the page.  When Apple will solve these problems, given that the downgrade isn't possible?

After that the IOS upgraded to 9.1 on my iPad 2, the unit has switched navigation performance and each app is lagging, and then crashes the device, to be hard restarts.  Changing such settings recommended in many articles does not improve these problems of performance or speed.  Given that the downgrade is possible, when Apple will release 9.2 to solve all these problems of performance?

These are performance problems widespread in the complaints I've seen on many articles, even in this community and discussion forums.

    Uh, no.

iPad 2 questions are far from "widespread".

Each user who has problems with their brand of Apple devices claimed that their problems are widespread disaster.

users of iPad 2, 3 and 4, like me, don't post troubleshooting forums if their iOS/updates updates update succeeded.

  • Merge two accounts Icloud

WWhen you Apple allows us to merge the accounts? I really have to use my ID iCloud as my apple ID, but can't because too much is linked to the Apple ID in iTunes. I can't pass this email to my iCloud account.

There is no such thing as an iCloud ID, you have an Apple that you connect to iCloud ID, say you that you have created a second Apple ID or are confused you with iCloud email address.

If you create and use an ID of Apple (without modification) fully nine, you will not be able to transfer anything you bought from the iTunes and App stores the ID of the new, but you can transfer your iCloud data (schedules, etc.) with a bit of patience.

    iTunes and App Store.

You can think about continuing to use the Apple to iTunes & App stores (as well as iBooks), ID so that you can continue to use your content bought without problems and simply use the new login to iCloud, Messages and FaceTime Apple.

If you use your new Apple ID for the iTunes and App stores, you will be able to authorize and game previously purchased content from the iTunes store on a computer, but may have difficulty using this content on an iOS device.

While you won't lose any apps that was purchased using the the previous Apple ID immediately, you will be no longer able to update.

If the previous Apple ID will continue to be used by a family member who belongs to a family sharing put in place which will include your new Apple ID, you share the previous purchases as well as all other purchases they do under this code from Apple. Be aware, however, that when gift vouchers using sharing of the family, unless that each family member has their own sum of credit from iTunes, the organizer of the family action in place will pay for any purchase made by any member of the family.

    iCloud

Move your iCloud a data what ID Apple for another is obtained more easily on a computer it is on an iOS device, indeed some aspects of the move possible only on a computer. However, any device you choose to spend your data, you should do so by turning individual iCloud to the wide one-both services and not sign out of the account until all services have been put off and processed. (Settings > iCloud on a mobile system preferences and peripheral > iCloud on a Mac)

If you have purchased an extra space for iCloud under your previous Apple ID, will not be transferred when you change the Apple ID you use and you can buy new space required under the new Apple ID.

iCloud Drive. Save the data of your iCloud drive in a computer before turning off this service. You can use the Finder on Mac or through iCloud.com if you use a PC. Just move the data of your new Apple ID, once it is set up.

Pictures. Make sure you download and keep the originals when you are prompted when you turn off iCloud photo library, you want pictures remain on your device and merge it with your new library when you set up your new Apple ID.

If you use a photo stream be aware that there may be more pictures on your device that there is in the cloud, flow of photos in the cloud keeps up to 1,000 photos for 30 days, if you have more old photos or more than 1,000 on your device, you can copy them to a computer before turning off the photo stream.

If you have created a shared albums, you must create them again once you have set up your new ID, all the pictures anyone else like added to your shared albums should be imported into your camera roll/library before you stop shared albums.

Mail. Once you change your Apple ID, you will have a new e-mail address of iCloud. So that you don't miss any message that is sent to your old address, you can arrange to have passed along it to your new address (or any other address), you can configure to iCloud.com > mail > Preferences > General.

Contacts. You have the opportunity to add contacts on your device when you disable this service, merge them when you are prompted when you reactivate the service after the signature in your new Apple ID.

Calendars. You have the opportunity to add calendars on your device when you disable this service, merge them when you are prompted when you reactivate the service after the signature in your new Apple ID.

Reminders. You have the opportunity to add reminders to your device when you disable this service, merge them when you are prompted when you reactivate the service after the signature in your new Apple ID.

Safari. You have the opportunity to save data of Safari on your device when you disable this service, merge them when you are prompted when you reactivate the service after the signature in your new Apple ID.

Notes. You can not record notes easily. On a Mac, you can drag them into another account and then drag them once you have set your new ID, but on an iOS device you will basically need to copy and paste into the new notes when you have configured the new Apple ID, but you will have to share before making notes of the old Apple ID , either by mail or similar messages.

Save. You cannot save your existing backup you need to start a new once you've set up your new Apple ID.

Keychain. Will give you the ability to add passwords and credit cards on your device when you disable this service, merge them when you are prompted when you reactivate the service after the signature in your new Apple ID.

  • How to manage Photos on El Capitan

I switched from PC to mac and one thing that I have problems with is the photos app. On my PC I keep all my photos in the file manager and it was never a problem when trying to get to them or place them. On mac, I noticed that he seems different. When I try to save pictures from Safari to the Photos app it won't let me choose a folder. Also how do I enter my photos from the Finder? Sometimes when an application allows me to select the photo shows the photo albums but other times it doesn't. Apple wants that too, you keep all your images in the Photos app? Its very confusing for me. It would just be easier to keep my photos in files in the Finder?

Photos is a database of photos, which manages your photos and associated image files.  By default, the original images are stored in your photo library.

When you change a photo or add meta-data, the database of Photos will create a modified version of this photo, but it will be not an actual image file, just a list of instructions how to render the edited photo in any size you want, if you export a copy of the photo.  This avoids storing, because only the original is retained, but not many different versions published, you may have, and it preserves the original, lossless quality, since all versions will always be derived from the original.

In addition, if you use iCloud original library maybe not anywhere on your Mac, but in iCloud.

This help page explains how the Photos.app manages pictures: https://help.apple.com/photos/mac/1.0/?lang=en#/pht12e7a8015

If you don't need or want a player and coach of database for photos, use the Finder and folders, no problem.

Sometimes when an application allows me to select the photo shows the photo albums but other times it doesn't.

You will need the latest versions of applications.  Only applications that have been updated to be fully compatible with El Capitan can view the library of Photos in the media browser, for example the new versions of the suite Office.

  • Satellite Pro C650 - what startup programs I can disable?

After about two weeks with a new Satellite Pro C650 that I bought for my wife, a light user, she is about to pounce on me.

Everything runs slowly. Click Start: wait. Open the control panel: wait. The time-out period is of the order of 20 to 30 seconds. Internet is often more slow - especially Internet Explorer, which often goes in a State does not. (Google Chrome run better even if it's not great either) Measures taken up to now include a defragmentation of the C: drive, which was 5% defragmented. I did a scan troubleshooting out of the control panel and it informs me that I have a lot of programs that run at startup and suggests that disable some. I had read previously that there is a problem with this Toshiba.

The question therefore is what to disable? I don't know what most of the programs are or what they do. I'll list the programs here and then gladly take suggestions. Furthermore, BitDefender has ranked three times in the startup list. I have two of them disabled for what it's worth.

The only apps I downloaded were BitDefender and Adobe Acrobat. McAfee antivirus has been removed. Other laptops in the House work fine with the same broadband wireless connection. Hoping someone can help and tell me what I can disable.

    The startup list:
    SAIICpl Application
    Synaptics Pointing Device Driver
    Message Center
    SmartFaceVWatcher
    Catalyst Control Center
    Nero BackItUp
    Default handler
    BitDefender 2011 (figure three times)
    Adobe Acrobat

    All of these Toshiba applications:

    -TEMPRO
    -HDD SSD Alert

    Hello

First of all, you can discover yourself how unique and applications that are controlled by these applications use google for more details.

But Nero BackItUp, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader and Acrobat Manager can be disabled wihotu having issues with the laptop

TEMPRO is a tool of Toshiba which analyzes systems and provides information on the new Toshiba driver updates
It s your own decision whether or not you want to use
Registration for laptop helps you to register the warranty of notebooks and Station Service provides an option to optimize the performance of laptops, but it s nice to have, but it of not very important

  • iPad2 is becoming slower and slower

    iPad 2, most recent iOS

    HELLO together.

For more than a half year (perhaps even early 2015) I have to fight a terrible slow iPad2, in non-reactive part.

In Safari, and it takes forever, until a page load (iPad mini is fast at the same time, it is not the internet).

It takes forever to pass even a tab.

I press a link and Safari freezes sometimes.

I have doupletap the homebutton to switch apps and the iPad very often freezes.

After maybe 20 seconds without response, host appears wth the apps to choose.

I already reset and reinstalled the iPad2, no change.

Is it possible that more updates, older devices get "slow", so that users are forced to buy new?

My mini iPad for example (do the same there, have also installed apps) has no problem.

    THX,

    Mike

Try an another hard reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!

  • My iPad 2 is very slow.  I removed all unused applications and erased from history.  What can I do else?

My iPad is very slow.  I removed all unused applications and erased from history.  What can I do else?

    A disclaimer clause.

I make no warranty, express or implied, that my own procedures return EACH older iPad to a usable state, running.

Try all of the following conditions:

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.
If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.
Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

If you are using Safari is always causing issues.
Try changing / using web browser third another, different.
I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.
I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

In the settings app, under the Safari settings panel, tap lightly on the Panel in the right-hand turn off / disable Safari Suggestions.

In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

Try to turn the reduced movement.
This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.
In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".
You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

Try a reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

  • How can I get everyone in the family of the different Apple ID?

4 all the family's phones are currently on the same Apple (mine) ID. How can I give everyone their own Apple ID (without losing the contacts and photos on each phone)?

I'd still all purchases associated with each Apple ID paid my credit card.

You need to disconnect from your ID on their phones and create their own ID's
