Saving App Apple Watch activity too much exercise?

My Apple Watch has problems with the application of the activity. When I got to watch it took plenty of exercise and the effort to fill the ring of exercise of 30 minutes, to the point where I thought there was something wrong with her lol

Since the first update last year, it's completely the opposite now. He recorded a lot too much exercise. For example; Today it is said that I did 83 minutes of exercise and I didn't exercise. I have been active, but only in a market autour, shopping etc. of passage kind. But according to the watch I did almost a value of an hour and a half of exercise.

Is there a way can I fix? I calibrated it and did 2 x 10 minutes walk with my phone in my hand etc... Services of location and movement etc is on... I did several hikes to bike with it too... I just looked at the watch again, and I did 3 minutes more exercise that I write this lol heart rate is normal etc. I don't know what to do?

Hello

Check that you don't have a meeting underway training, either through the integrated application in training or a third party.

Check that your personal information is accurate:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > health > check and, if necessary, change your date of birth, sex, height and weight.

It can also help to reset your calibration data and calibrate your watch again:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > privacy > Motion & Fitness > tap reset Calibration data.

It can also help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone:

-To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

  • How see you captured by the app Apple Watch Workout training? app

When you complete a workout using the Apple Watch of training application, it asks if you want to 'Save' the workout.  How you look at these recorded training? Most applications provide a way to see at least the last few workouts, for example, distance, calories, total time, steps, etc. While the different measurements are recorded in the activity log, it does not provide much information to each workout as a unit. I guess I could use another application, but believed that the Apple app would be better.

  • App Apple Watch of training app vs Strava screen refresh speed

Why the app Apple Watch of training refreshes the display faster than the app Apple Watch Strava?

When I lift my arm to see my race/bike speed display shows workout app much faster when I do the same thing using Strava. Is it because Strava is an application of part 3 for the Apple Watch?

    Hello

    Strava advises the following:

There is a delay for updating my stats when I put my wrist, what happens?

We are aware of this problem and agree that it is a problem. Unfortunately the Strava app is not allowed to run in the background, that is why there is a delay in the update of your stats when you raise your wrist. We did not feel that it was useful to show you the old values for us currently gray on the stats, until the application can be updated.

  • Apple Watch activity App

My wife is a new user and today after 10 minutes to workout on an exercise bike (bike inside) I forgot to get out, and it was 3 hours 16 minutes before it was turned off.

As a result he has recorded 3335 active kilojoules instead of about 210.

Is anyway to remove this workout, or at least change?

Also is it possible to be able to view a summary of the different activities over a longer period, as the 12 months (or almost) that I used my watch? Can I get this from Pacer but how do I get shows?

Both watches are running the latest version of the software.

    Hi John

It is not possible to edit training via the application in activity or training quarter of your wife.

Health and fitness of the Apple Watch data, iPhone and all the other sources are rather grouped and managed through the health app on his iPhone matched.

    To remove the workout:

-On the iPhone of your wife, in the application of health (icon: red heart on a white background), go to: data on health (tab) > Fitness > training > view all data > swipe to the left on a workout, and then press the trash / remove.

  • App Apple Watch for monitoring stationary bike

I'm about to buy the new Apple Watch series2 to the follow-up activities. I belong to a health club and I use a stationary recumbent warm-up for about 2 to 4 miles. Won't record the watch the miles by gps? (I do not carry my phone in the club) so it can be included in the application of Health Watch?

I saw a lot of apps available for the race and for cycling but you have not found all apps for the watch to the stationary recumbent.

I would be grateful for any suggestions for app to download which can be synchronized with the iwatch for this type of activity.

    Thanking you in advance.

    Hello

The application of the workout on Apple Watch includes a type of activity for the indoor bike, which is designed for training on stationary bikes.

Indoor training sessions are not tracked by GPS. GPS / location Services is used for outdoor training, when it keeps track of changes in your location, during your workout, to help assess the results, including distance, speed and rhythm.

Choice of the type of activity that best matches your workout allows Apple Watch to use the most appropriate sensors and data sources to measure the results of your workout.

For activities that are not included in the list, you can choose 'other '. This credit a minute of exercise for each minute of the workout. Active calories will be estimated at a rate equivalent to a brisk walk or based on the data recorded by the heart rate sensor, according to what is higher.

  • Apple Watch activity

My exercise rings are going crazy today.  ICH have multiples of everything. 383 exercise minutes, 1350 cal 10 hours standing. And I've not done something today. Can anyone help?

    Helga

    Hi Helga

Activity-related estimates depends, in part, your personal information. To verify that it was entered correctly (and maintain over time):

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch tab > health > edit - tap and adjust the settings, then press on in fact.

Also, make sure that you not save a workout in training app (or any third-party tracking application fitness):

    - Use of the application of the workout on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

It can also help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Turn on both devices off the power together first, and then restart your iPhone before your watch:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

  • Apple Watch activity is not in the cloud?

So, I've been using a Apple Watch for a while and my number one problem is that 'Activity', I put together for the last year is not sync with the iCloud, so when I upgraded my iPhone 6 to iOS10 all my activity watch is gone. I tested this point last week and it seems that "Activity" app does not synchronize your data in the cloud, so if you lose your phone or your watch you will have to start all over again and latest data are lost. This seems to be a huge concern when I spend all this time my overall follow-up and progress. Everyone see what happens if you put to level or restart/reset your watch or your phone?

    Hello

Health and historical activity data is stored on your iPhone. It is not recorded separately in iCloud.

To guard against data loss, be sure to make regular backups of your iPhone.

If the backup via iTunes, make sure to select the option to encrypt iPhone backup (unencrypted backup excludes the sensitive data, including health and activity). iCloud backups are encrypted as standard.

    • If the access code is enabled, make sure that you unlock your watch after placing it on your wrist.
    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > activity - make sure that reminders booth is open.

    Hello

I am a new user of Apple Watch.

The application of "Activity" on Apple Watch is fantastic and helps me track my daily commute and inspires me to move more.

However, I have noticed that this application brings together incorrect data when I went on my bike or a trip by Bus/car etc. I've seen similar problems on "FitBitt" also. Is there a way that we can suspend the collection of data on a riding/trip etc.?

My app shows that I'm objective! (Which in fact I'm not)

    Thanks in advance.

    HimuBar

    Hello

It is not currently possible to ideally to suspend the application of the activity. However, it can help calibrate your Apple Watch. Calibration will allow him to better recognize the activity and make more accurate estimates, particularly for the steps and the movement goal progress in the implementation of the activity.

To calibrate your watch, follow the instructions in this article:

When monitoring your activities in General everyday wear, the application of the activity relies on the built-in accelerometer (which measures and interprets the movement of your arm). For best results, try to leave the arm on which you wear your watch to swing naturally as you move (and also do during calibration of your watch).

Estimates of activity also dependent on your personal information. To verify that it was entered correctly and update over time:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > health > edit (top-right).

  • Automatic unlocking with Apple Watch active but expire

I've activated automatic unlocking on my Mac (Macbook Air 6.1) successfully, I had my first gen Apple Watch upgraded to watch OS 3 and when I opened my Macbook, it says «Unlock with Apple Watch...» ». After a few seconds, however, I get a spinny wheel thought and then it expires and I get the password prompt. I tried to restart my Mac and my watch, but don't know what else to do here?

As far as I know I have everything set up properly - 2-factor authentication, the right operating system, the hardware supports, but it just times out. Anyone have any idea why this could be or a potential solution?

Seems that you have all your ducks in a row, but check the instructions here > http://www.cultofmac.com/441405/how-to-use-apple-watch-to-unlock-your-mac-in-mac os-sierra /

  • App Apple Watch Timer is setting alarms

I see a weird behavior with the OS3 timer app Watch: when the countdown is reached, I get the usual "done timer' screen with the bell sounds and the haptic feedback. I type the 'Stop' and stop the alerts. So far so good, but after 1 or 2 seconds, an alarm goes off saying "COUNT_DOWN_TIME_REACHED". Of course, I know that, I just rejected in the clock application so why also the notifications of alarms app? This never happened in OS1 and OS2. Is it supposed to be a 'novelty' for OS3? Is it possible to disable it?

    Restart your Apple Watch

    1. Hold down the side button until you see the cursor off the power.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
    3. Once your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

    Then try the timer.

There is no application on my I - Phone 5 health, and I couldn't see in the App store.  Does this mean that my I-Phone 5 is not compatible with the Apple Watch?

It will appear only after you pair an Apple Watch with the phone.
