    Hello

In each memory space is reserved to system files or material information, and there is nothing to do with drivers.

As in my previous post says that the storage devices are measured in bytes and when they are converted to GB, there is a difference in the size of the memory.

If you take any flash memory, pen or external hard drive memory drivers appear exactly that, there will be variations.

You can even check with another computer, and the result would be the same.

  • When saving files, menu drop-down is not displayed, just a little.

When you attempt to save a bookmark using the "Bookmark this page", then by selecting Menu bookmark to display a list of recorded files, the list of the saved files that appears is a short partial list. This list does not scroll to view unlisted remaining folders. All of these files are searchable/accessible when "show all bookmarks".

    fredmcd,
The method that seems to work OK is to use the method you describe. It requires another step to click or two, but I can see and reach all my saved files when you save a bookmark. Thanks for the suggestion of workaround.

I would suggest that there is a bug in there somwhere that needs to be squashed. It prevents a complete list of saved folders and bookmark s from being displayed under Bookmarks Menu when Bookmark this Page is selected.

Thanks again, have a nice day.

If there is NO adapter, how can I get these files on the USB key and my iPad pro? I need these PDF files transferred my I touch pro. Any suggestions?  Please

The iPad does not support USB keys. There are some wireless flash drives that can be used, but not the classical records. I suggest you transfer files to a computer and their synchronization then back to the iPad via iTunes.

  • Satellite A660 - cannot see the saved files

The problem is with a game I have.

I see a file that I downloaded on the net to play, but the game files that I saved do not appear when I look for them that they don't show up. But when I view the compatibility files, they show, but me is not good since I can't send them to others who need to use them. The game in question is civilization 3 conquests, but I have a PC with it on and did not have this problem.

So where can I find the setting to make them visible?

    >... can't see the saved files
Is - this general problem with your computer laptop or you have noticed with the game only files?
I mean that's not easy to say anything on this specific issue.

I m not a gambler so I can't comment on some problem of game files.
Try to find a game forum where people discuss civilization 3 conquests and ask if anyone else has noticed the same problem.

because when I open my USB... He said that I need to format my usb key... so I did the format... but when I opened again after formatting... out there no more files inside my USB... all gone...

You do not have a 'usb '. Without doubt, you have a hard drive or a USB that connects to the computer via a usb port.

I correct not give you a hard time, but it is always important to use the correct terminology when you ask a question; If you do not, you run the risk that your question will be misunderstood and you will get an incorrect answer.

By definition, formatting deletes all files on a device. You wrote something about this feature from the formatting? If this isn't the case, you should be able to recover all your files easily. There are several third-party programs that can do it for you. Do a search on the web to unformat and you will have several choices.

  • Could not open the backup files on a USB key

I supported some (bkf) files on a USB key with XP. I transferred these files on another computer with XP. I can not open them on the other computer with XP and I can open them on the USB key.

    Hello sherbrookeqc,

Before giving up on the .bkf files, look on the internet for the 3rd party software backup that restores the backup files in Windows XP. It could be your .bkf files are corrupted, but they may be recoverable using other sources.

However, if the files are empty they may not be not recoverable.

    Good luck.

Let us know if that helps.

    Hello

Windows displays a temporary storage area where files are held before they are copied to the CD. Files or folders located in the temporary storage area are listed under files ready to be written on the CD.

Try the steps and check them off below if it helps:

    a. double-click my computer and then double-click the CD burner.

    b. under CD writing tasks, click on delete temporary files.

When you delete the contents of the temporary storage area, you can set this field to another set of files and folders that you want to copy to the CD. The files are not deleted from their location on your computer or on the CD.

  • How to upgrade the already encrypted files on the USB HDD with new XP Recovery certificate

I backed up the files encrypted in My Documents on a USB drive on which these files are also encrypted state. My computer crashed so I reinstalled the operating system. I wanted to send records encrypted USB HD to my computer or tried to copy projecteurDu and paste them into My Documents. I could not do this because I got "an error occurred in the application...". access privilegesDo i., access is denied. "I created a new recovery certificate and put in place a recovery agent. From there how I update the previously encrypted files on th USB HDD with the new recovery certificate? I'd appreciate a step by step procedure. Can I select the USB drive in the command line and run cipher/u on this drive or make the command/u of encryption on the computer without connecting to the USB HDD

Sorry to say that my bet is that you never gain access to these files again.

When you created the files encrypted, Windows creates a key for decryption to access these files and stored, encrypted in your certificate store.  When your system crashed, the decryption key has crashed with it.  Without this key, you will never have access to your encrypted files.  If you have recovered from a backup image-style, you should be able to access these files.  If you've recovered by installing Windows from the installation disc, then you have created a new and different installation with different Secure ID (SID) and a certificate store empty.  A recovery agent will only retrieve encrypted files that were created after that recovery agent was in place - as a new certificate.  What you really need to do, it's your old certificate to restore the backup that you created when you started using EFS.  The following article is mandatory for anyone using the EFS file system.  Special attention to the paragraph entitled "why you should back up your certificates.

"Best Practices for encrypting file system"

If you do not have a return to the top of your certificate, then things look dark.  There is a program called "AEFSDR' whose 'professional' version comes through what has not been overwritten on your hard drive in search of remains of certificates that could be delivered together to recover.

    Good luck
