  • Edge based geometric invariant scale corresponding learn property?

    Hello world

I want to create a VI that pattern matching which is scale invariant, that is if I create a model that is smaller or larger, or any angle that the image of the target, he should be able to recognize, no matter what.

The question is when I go to form the model using LabVIEW VI, the dose of IMAQ Setup learn geometric model 2 VI no option on the specification of the invariant properties of SCALE or the ROTATION property. But they were as in the detection property IMAQ configuration Match geometric pattern 2 VI SCALE and ROTATION are there.

If I activate the invariant property of the detection scale it gives me that isn't a corresponding error information for invariant scale model. But I did not well in the Setup IMAQ learn geometric model 2 to specify.

These goods are in the VISION Assistant, but I want to do in LabVIEW.

    Kind regards

  • Will be chip filters scale with the size of the image?

I created the work to a very large size for a banner. It comes to many of the effects and dynamic filters. I would simply create a smaller version of the file to work with other projects as the original work of the opening size is very long and tax. I don't want to flatten the work because I may need to rearrange the elements of the specific project. When I size down using the size of the Image, with verified scale Styles, dynamic filters always do not fit with the rest of the file. For example, a Gaussian blur will further blur in the smaller file than in the larger file.

Are my only 1 answers.) to wrap each dynamic object that has a dynamic filter inside another object dynamically to protect during resizing, or 2.) to manually set again the dynamic filter on each layer to match the new size? I'm hoping to more intelligently (ha).

    No, they won't.

Unfortunately we do not have visibility on the parameters of all filters on the scale of them, nor a means to determine the limits of each filter to know if we can evolve beyond the limits of the filter.

Yes, 1 and 2 are the most reasonable solutions.

  • Questions about the scale of the DPI and the brightness of the screen on Satellite L350-145

I'm trying to customize a L350-145 (screen 17 ") to a user who has some problems of Visual discomfort (difficulty with bright screens and small print).

    (1) ease of access of Vista, control panel DPI scale offers two resolutions, 96, and 120. Even the 120 is a bit small for this user, so I put a custom DPI to 144 (150%). However, I anticipate that some applications could not deal with this font size, so I intend to create a second user that the user could switch to which still had the standard DPI setting. However, to try this I find that change the DPI for one user affect the users of the computer. The DPI is implemented by not part of the user profile?

    (2) I set the brightness level to 1 (through power settings). However, even if this is a little live sometimes. Is there another way to lower the brightness of the screen further away?

    Thank you

    2. do you can not go lower. I guess you could buy a filter sieve that filters glare.

  • . VI filtering IIR and response: response of Butterworth filter size depends on sampling rate - why?

    Hi people,

I'm not an expert in the design of the filter, only a person in applying them, so please can someone help me with an explanation?

I need to filter signals very infrequent using a buttherwoth filter 2. or 3. order of the bandpass 0.1 to 10 Hz.

Very relevant amplitudes are BELOW 1 Hz, often less than 0.5 Hz, but there is as well the amplitudes beyond 5 Hz to observe.

It's fixed and prescribed for the application.

However, the sampling rate of the measuring system is not prescribed. It may be between say between 30 and 2000 Hz. Depends on the question of whether the same set of data is used for analysis of the higher up to 1000 Hz frequencies on the same measure or this is not done by the user and he chooses a lower sampling rate to reduce the size of files, especially when measuring for longer periods of several weeks.

To compare the response amplitude of 2nd and 3rd order filter, I used the example of IIR filtering .vi and response:

I was very surprised when I found that the response of greatness is considerably influenced by the SAMPLING RATE I say the signal generator in this example vi.

Can you please tell me why - and especially why the filter of order 3 will be worse for the parts of low frequency below 1 Hz signal. Told me of people experienced with filters that the 3rd oder will less distort the amplitudes which does nothing for my the frequencies below 1 Hz.

In the attached png you see 4 screenshots for 2 or 3 command and sampling rate of 300 or 1000 Hz to show you the answers of variable magnitude without opening labview.

THANK YOU very much for your ANSWERS!

Hello Cameron and thanks for my lenses of compensation.

I can now proudly present the solution of my problem.

It seems to be purely a problem of the visualistion information filters through the cluster of the scale.

After looking in the front panel of the IIR, I suddenly noticed that the "df" of the pole size is changing with the Fs of the input signal.

For a Fs to 30 Hz, the "df" is 0.03 Hz so you see the curve of the filter with more points, see png.

For a Fs 300 Hz "df" is 0.3 Hz, so the curve is larger with only 3 points between 0 and 1 Hz.

For a 1 kHz Fs the df is 0,976 Hz, so there is no point in the graph between 0 and 1 Hz.

It's strange that for constant Fs, df of this cluster NOT reduced with the increase in the number of samples, as it does in an FFT.

However, I hope now the filter used now for the curves obtained with the proposed Lynn way and the response of greatness from the filter information fit together.

    Thank you for your support.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all.

  • Traffic filtering and tagging

Any body has used traffic filtering and marking for traffic filtering, such as the declining traffic, creating port includes restrictions by vm, or the creation of DMZ as sets of rules, etc.?

    Thank you

    Sam

Well, you don't need NSX, this is a core feature of the distributed vSwitch available since vSphere 5.5, it allows you to create a layer 2 and layer rules firewall of 3/4 on distributed distributed groups of ports or ports.

I used it to isolate the virtual machines on the DMZ network similar to what would achieve a PVLAN configuration and I would say that it works pretty good, at least on a small scale.

  • Filters BPDU

Is it possible to implement the BPDU filtering in ESXi? I can do it on a standard switch or do I need a distributed switch?  I can do it on a distributed switch NSX?

    Thank you

BDPU filtering is a host to the scale and not a vSwitch parameter. As such, it works with vSwitches, standard and distributed. There is no special license or add-on as NSX required, to enable it, just set the host Net.BlockGuestBPDU to 1. This will block all frames BDPU sent from any guest on any vSwitch on the host.

  • Product filters of the building with Web applications

I'm currently building product in my catalog page filters, but I'm stumped as to how to do it.

I had read that it must be done through the Web Apps, but I can't figure out how. From what I understand, I have to add each product to the Web application. That would be nice, but that would mean having to add each product twice, once to the Web application and once to the product database? Is this fair?

The filter options, I need is a drop down menu for product scale, a scroll of the brands of products checklist, a slider for product prices and list the product color.

It seems very little information with practical examples on the operation of Web applications and how to create them.

OK, you're on the right track. A few note however:

    1. replace:
    {module_data resource="products" version="v3" fields="custom3" skip="0" limit="10" where="\{'custom2':'1:10'\}" order="id" collection="myData"}

    with

    {module_data resource="products" version="v3" fields="custom2, name" skip="0" limit="10" where="\{'custom2':'{{globals.get.scale}}'\}" order="id" collection="myData"}

This way module_data will get the real value of the query in the URL param, so mysite.com? scale scale1 = and mysite.com? scale scale2 = will make things different.

When generating the snippet module_data do not forget to include all the fields you will use, including the product name, custom fields, the URL and so on. module_data returns only the fields that you specify.

API calls can be used in the front-end servers, you need not the snippet ajax for this application.

I highly recommend passing by the messages filtered by the author and tag -even if it's on blogs, the approach is similar to what you need, the only difference is the resource module_data returns (rather than products blog posts).

    Hope this helps,

    Mihai

  • Reduction of image thumbnails with bilinear-bicubic/filtering in Flex?

    Hello!

I'm developing a Flex based AIR Application, which must create thumbnails of large images. My Thumbnailer class does what I want, but the results are not so good. The problem is, that even with "smoothing" turned on, when the smoothing of bitmap drawing only up-scaling effects.

The thumbnails look very jagged and crunchy. Photoshop uses bilinear or bicubic during the downward revision to an image, which is much better filtered. I searched on the web with google and I searched other Flex projects using thumbnails, but I couldn't find anything by producing miniature images better.

Performance is not very important, because I save thumbnails of image files and use them. So the scale does not not to be real-time.

Is there a way to create better images in Flex?

OK, I had an idea to do this:

Until the image is reduced, it is scrambled with the blur filter. The factor of scale to the bottom of the image is used as the blur x / y values (scale factor 1 /).

The result almost looks be scaled down with Bilinear filtering in Photoshop.

Flash/Flex photos have never looked so good guys :-)

Here is the code (hopefully this helps someone some time :-)))

    How can I solve this?

I use MacBook air, the latest version of sw and Gmail. I guess I could install filters on Gmail, but I wouldn't be able to use mail filters?

Thank you in advance, the clues!

Hello and welcome to Apple support communities, Martjenko.

It seems that you have some questions about junk mail filtering in the Mail application on your MacBook Air. I know from personal experience that it can be quite tedious to sort task and delete unwanted email box, but no worries, I'm happy to help you resolve this issue.

To answer your question, Yes, there are filters in Mac OS X Mail that you can use with your email accounts to filter spam. Mail is designed to do this automatically. Use bandages below for steps on reducing spam in the Mail application, and help with what to do if junk mail filters do not work properly.

  • Links e-mail and filters - the wish list items?

Compose an e-mail containing a link does not support stable link until the message is saved or sent to the car. This limitation is known to be intentional in the documentation. However, in the good old Eudora, press a hot key while clicking on a link in an email being composed active link for the optional test right then and there. Saving time very practical.

Filtering of incoming emails via Tools/Message filters works, but requires many unnecessary steps to create a new filter. In good old Eudora, with an open incoming email or in the preview pane, the mouse option to 'Make the filter' opens a filter window using the e-mail address to propose the filter to use or replace, options that ends with a "Create filter" button. So the first time, you get an e-mail from a friend who deserves a filter allows you to filter all future emails boyfriend as you like - while reading that first email in the mate. Tremendous work saver and eliminates the need to remember the process of creating filter separated necessary in T-Bird.

I'm a new user, so please let me know if I missed some useful options. Also I would like to know if it is a list of wishes that would be better directed elsewhere. Thank you!

'Dead links' are a basic 'feature' of the Thunderbird editor and is not likely to change anytime soon.

You can right click on an email address in the message header pane and choose "create filter from. This will start the construction of a filter with 'Sender' "is" and informed selected e-mail address.

An add-on, QuickFilters, introduced a process of construction of drag-and-drop filter.
