  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    

    click Help

    

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  The status bar at the bottom of the window was visible when I was using Beta 6, but after upgrading to Beta 7 is missing. I restarted Firefox many times.

  The status bar was removed from the Beta 7 and replaced with the add-on bar. If there are special features of the status bar you want, you can use The status 4 Evar add-on to add them to the bar of the add-on.

• Yoga 2 Pro - sleep setting missing after upgrade to Windows 10 RTM

  Here's another interesting event. I use sleep mode all the time, that's what happens "when I close the lid. After upgrade Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 RTM, "standby mode" is not found. "when I close the lid" and related parameters in power management have an empty selection, sleep does not appear in the drop-down list of choices. It seems revenue to "Put to sleep" by default. By reading the other Windows 10 forums I know sleep is supported in Windows 10, how can I get that back? I tried to download and install the latest driver for power management (as dated 17/07/2015, I think) but I get the message that "you already have a newer version of the driver installed", I cancelled out of the facility. Are there newer drivers planned for soon? I can shoot with Microsoft Basic Display Driver (3200 x 1800 only, see my other ad in the forum), although I used a different resolution in Windows 8.1 and hibernate instead of mode 'sleep', but I hope that these features will work soon. • Bootcamp (Win7) missing after upgrade to El Capitan

  My iMac early 2009 (one of the 4 Macs in my office) has lost his Boot Camp partition after upgrade to OS 10.11. the 1 TB drive keeps 783 GB as Untitled in disk utility, but the icon is missing from the office and it does not appear in the start window options.  I don't want to wipe o as Win 7 teacher was OEM and I Revit and Autocad licenses on it.  I can do something so he relocated it?  I have the same problem with my Macbook Pro of retina.

  Please answer a few questions to refine the question.

  1 are you referring to the "documents" folder in Windows thelibrary?

  2. did you check the exact location of the folder "documents" in Windows 7?

  3. from which operating system you have upgraded to Windows 7?

  4. have you received an error during the upgrade to Windows 7?

  Method 1:
  

  As was the Document and Settings folder in Windows XP Pro in Windows 7 does not have access to any user, as it is a protected file. The folder you're talking has now been replaced in Windows 7 with the USERS folder. And you can also access the folders of documents in libraries. You can search the documents folders in C:/Users/user_name.  If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.

  Method 2:

  $INPLACE. ~ TR and $WINDOWS. ~ Q are leftover folders created by Windows during the upgrade process, if there is no error while upgrading files may be saved in these files.

  Individual records will be hidden by default and you can view the folders to view the folders. You can look in the C: drive.

  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. click on power under Control Panel Options.
  4. Select the settings of under balanced plan.
  5. click on change advanced power settings.
  6 expand the view.
  7. turn on the Enable Adaptive brightness.
   
  If this method does not improve the brightness of the screen, turn off Adaptive brightness allow once again.
   
  Method 2: If you still face the question, I suggest to download graphics drivers on the manufacturer's Web site and follow the link below and install the drivers of graphics card in compatibility mode.

  Can anyone help please? Just upgraded to Windows 10 and my nice HP software for scanning has simply disappeared. Tried to download the HP suggestion, but it's still not there. I had to resort to entering the IP address of the printer, which comes with a very basic scanning system (ie 1 single page per file .pdf) and does not allow for cropping etc.

  Was already on Windows 8 and everything has worked. Very confused and looking for enlightenment. Thank you in advance.

  I have an Aspire 7551 G. Shortly after the upgrade to Windows 10 my cd/dvd drive has disappeared. If I put a cd in the drive nothing happens. The drive is not even appear on my computer more.   I used to use Hexonic software ScantoPDF to scan multiple pages and save in a single PDF document. After the upgrade that software no longer works, even after I re-installed.

  I searched for another free application and safe to use to scan documents to PDF format since HP has no software of the printer to the HP officejet 6100 and two scan Windows 10 applications are primitive (it doesn't have an output PDF option, and the other Scan, only lets you scan a page in a document.

  Help! Can someone please provide a free software application that will allow me to scan multiple pages in a document?

• My computer is VERY slow after upgrade to El Capitan, and especially after I have downloaded MS Office 2016

  After that I downloaded El Capitan, I was satisfied with the content and the speed for about a week. I did a clean install... After 2 weeks of use, I bought the MS Office 2016 and I think after that, I noticed a significant decrease in performance. I mean, like one where I want to throw my computer out the window about 100 times a day. Takes me 30 minutes to start the computer and perform a simple task like the connection to an account on the internet and missing his shot something. 30 minutes! A task that should take 30 seconds.

  I don't know where is the problem. I have a late 2008 Macbook Alu 2.4 GHz, 8 GB Ram, disk SSD (130 GB of free space) and the rest is the default value. Is there a solution, suggestion? Is it fair that my computer can't take El Capitan even with the plug I have, or are at - it something else?

• Bootcamp missing after upgrade to El Capitan

  Hi, I want to run Windows so that I can remove the ADS 'files' associated with the files I transferred to a Windows computer for Mac Pro (mid-2010) I.

  After the upgrade to El Capitan (or perhaps Yosemite, as I haven't used bootcamp for awhile) bootcamp will no longer appear when I hold 'alt' when starting.

  I use NTFS for Mac OS X by Paragon and the bootcamp partition appears in the Finder, and the files are accessible.

  I have a backup time machine in Mac OS X I have an El Capitan USB drive Installer.

  Disk0 is an SSD that would 744,91 for OS X and 253 GB of bootcamp.

  I read the posts here who have a similar problem, but my system seems to have an additional problem with a partition OS X 'extra' appearing in the readings (see below) that should not be there.

• Laptop computer shows BOOTMGR missing after running system back to factory State

  I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment notebook model #dv7 cl 3163. First of all, I must say that I am a beginner user. My problem started with a low battery problem. Then, using recovery mgr. I first ran to the top of disks and then tried system restore. During which it stops. When I tried to restart it initially said something about starting like new from the factory. Then it said could not load the windows program. I contacted hp and tech had me buy a phone holder 1 year plan. Had me then go th the Recovery Manager and select restore to the original image. During which he gave this message. Recovery Manager cannot restore computer using the fzctory image. Please contact HP support. 0xe0ef0003 error code. He said that meant, that I need a new hard drive. Now when I turn it on it says BOOTMGR missing. Use ctrl del apt at the beginning but who doesn't. It doesn't do anything. The technology would be good? Is there a way I can check my drive first? Or another way to tell? It was not the original problem so I am not confident in its determination. Should I be?

  Immediately after turning the power on, press the ESC key. This should bring up a menu which F2 is what you choose. Use Diagnostics to test your hard drive.
