Scan to MultiPage Deskjet F380

HP Deskjet F380

Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit operating system.

I need to scan a multiple page document so that I can send email, but I'm currently only save each page as individual JPEGS.

I already downloaded the recommended HP driver.

Suggestions please?

Hi @panduke,

I understand you want to be able to send a multiple page scan. I can help you today.

I don't have access to the Cue 13 software you use, so I'll give you two ways to be able to check the parameter to create a separate file for each page scanned or not. If these steps do not match the software you are using, please provide a screenshot of the software.

Most likely, these steps are similar to your software. Software reference 14.

Open the software of HP Solutions Center for scanning, click Change settings, click the advanced picture settings, check scan several photos in an individual file. Press OK.

V22 Lite software.

In the Solutions Center HP scanning software, click Advanced settings, click the file tab.

Uncheck the create a separate file for each scanned page.

Press OK.

Good day!
Thank you.

    Here's what we will do:

    1. If the printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    3. Right-click on your printer icon listed.
    4. Click on remove the instrument.
    5. Repeat for all other icons printer listed.
    6. If you have removed the USB cable and plug. If not, click Add a printer to add to the queue new print.

At this point, you should be able to print. If you are unable to do so, the next thing to do would be to start printing and scanning doctor. • HP Deskjet F380: HP Deskjet F380 software & Driver

Printer HP Deskjet F380 all-in-one works fine on Windows 10. I was ale to use the HP Service Console to print, scan, etc. However, after the latest software and driver (exit 14) I can't open the Console from the HP Service. In addition, after installing the HP software does not recognize the printer and cannot print a test even page.

To get out of trouble I did following:

    1. uninstalled and reinstalled HP Deskjet and Officejet full feature software and drivers - AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_408-4; After (1) has not helped

2 disconnected PC from the Internet, then repeated #1; After (2) has not helped

    3. software uninstalled, opened the file folder and delete all files from tem; range of printers HP F300, drawn to the list in the control panel. Reinstalled HP Deskjet and Officejet full feature software and drivers-AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_408-4

None of the steps above helped. When the Win-10 adds the printer the printer and the scanner work.

However, the value of the HP software is that it allowed me to scan directly into the file in TIF or PDF format.

Is this a known problem or is there a solution for the problem?

    Thank you

  • HP Deskjet F380

I have a deskjet F380 who gave me excellent service. 4 days ago it stopped talking to my computer or at least on the side of feeling that's as I can still scan documents in. I'm not particularly computer savvy, but I tried to reinstall the drivers and software that came with the printer. It can print a page of test manually, so it is obviously in full working condition and I lived the gamut of online help and he gave me :-) The LPT1 port is obviously working properly I can still scan and save documents, but I'm the Director of a local company and on the side of impression is the most important for me... Help!

  • HP Deskjet F380 print really slow and ejects incomplete pages

Hi, I have a HP Deskjet F380 all-in-one. It worked perfectly for months until this one day he started to have problems when printing. When I hit the button "print" the printer take too long to print and it is extremely slow, it prints a little then stops (20 seconds or more) then print more. Also my printer ejects often empty or incomplete pages. I tried different solutions. (1) uninstall/reinstall the driver for the printer 2) disable my firewall and antivirus
4 reset the printer (unplug the printer power cord ecc..) 3) open the printer to check if there is something blocking the internal components 4) remove and reinstall the cartridges, clean the contacts of the cartridge and check the ink level 5) try using a different power supply from another HP printer. Nothing has fixed the problem. I ran HP print and Scan doctor but the test found no errors. I also tried to unplug the usb cord and print a self test page (press the button cancel + copy color button), but it won't work, so I have deduced that there is a problem with the printer and the questions were not related to my pc.
    I am running Windows 7 64 bit

    Any help is very appreciated!

I solved the problem myself. The black ink cartridge was defective, I replaced it, and now my printer works perfectly!

  • DESKJET F380 WILL NOT ACCEPT PRINT INSTRUCTIONS

We have a HP Deskjet F380. Our operating system is Windows Vista Home Basic.  Just within the last week or two printer refuses to accept the printing instructions. I ran print and Scan doctor and tells me, that everything is ok. Print test page for doctor is also very good. However, the problem has not disappeared. When I try to print something, for example by email, the printer will not accept print mode.

The only recent change in our systems, which may or may not be linked to this problem, is that we moved from BT Yahoo mail BT Mail about two weeks ago.  Help!

  • DeskJet F380 print only page 1 - only when the first powered

I work under Windows 7. I checked the toner level - not low; cleaning cartridges does not help.  When the power is turned on, the first page prints ok, not strong. The following pages, it acts like it is printing but prints pages white, totally clean.

Thanks for your suggestions.  I wonder if it's time for a new printer.

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see you are having some problems printing with Deskjet F380.

Go to start, run, type msconfig, click on the Services tab.
Click to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box.
    Click Disable all.

Click on the tab at the top of the page, select Disable all the startup, apply, OK and restart the computer.

    Temporary disable all Antivirus software.

    Then try to print again.

You will need to go back and allow all when done and turn on the Antivirus software.

Let me know how it goes and we'll go from there.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.
    Good day.

  • Error scanning WIA for Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060

    I can't scan with a Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060.

HP Print and Scan doctor said that the error is the Windows WIA. It says HP TWain scanning and other tests are fine, not that I know how to do a TWAIN scan with it.

Reading another post, I can confirm that "detecting hardware Kernel ', 'Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)' and 'RPC Remote Procedure Call ()' is running in automatic mode in the services list.

My printer reacts to an application to scan and seems likely to be an analysis sometimes, but the software seems to act as if it receives nothing back from the scanner?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers twice without success.

    Reading http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-and-Copying/cant-get-HP-Office-jet-to-scan/m-p/1785313/highlight/true#M41216

I tried another USB on my computer, and hey presto! He works all of a sudden!

Looks like the HP scanners cannot handle all USB connectors. Odd.

  • All-in-one HP Deskjet F380: use of HP Deskjet F380 cartridge.

I want to know if we can use a single cartridge in HP Deskjet F380, or use two cartridges at the same time?

    Hi @Shubhamp,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you would like to know if you can print mode single cartridge with this printer. I would like to help you today.

According to the manual, it does not indicate that you can simply use the cartridge in this model. The two cartridges need to be installed and work to continue printing with this model.

When you receive a low-ink warning message, make sure you have an available replacement cartridge. You must also replace the print cartridges when you see has passed out in text, or if you are having print quality problems associated with print cartridges
