  • WIN8 and Scanner canon DR - 1210 C

    Dear subscribers,

Whereas fabulous offers are there for the Scanner Canon DR - 1210C dropped, I'd like your opinion on this particular model compatibility and with Win8 or Win8.1. Will it work?

The latest available drivers are for Win7.

    Hi ameneses54.

While the imageFORMULA DR - 1210C supports scanning with the Windows 7 operating system, the unit doesn't support scanning with the operating system Windows 8/8.1, as there are no drivers available.

While taking into account the desire to provide the best possible support for current Canon timely products, Canon has to make decisions on products to support when operating systems are introduced. Generally, these decisions are based on the age of the product and the product number estimated to still in use.

We understand and we sincerely apologize for any frustration that this may cause, but hope that you will understand our reason for being.

  • Problems scanner Canon LID210

    Separated from this thread.

Yes, I have connected my scanner (Canon LIDE210) until I had installed the software. The scanner works in paint, but Photoshop does not recognize this scanner.

I don't have the scanning software provided more but downloaded "qm__-win-2_5_0 - ea31_2.exe" on the Canon site. Tried, after I plugged the scanner, but it did not work.

Is there a solution to my PC (Windows 7, 64-bit)?

    Hello

Thanks for posting on Microsoft Community.

As the scanner recognizes when you use the paint but no Photoshop, you can try reinstalling Photoshop and check. If that isn't the problem, I recommend you contact the support of Photoshop.

    To uninstall a program.

  • Windows 7 in conflict with scanner Canon Lide 110

    To the right,.

Our school has established that the Smartboard software is conflicting with Canon Lide 110 Scanner Software and Microsoft Windows 7. Logs of computer errors identified this problem according to Canon.

The scanner Canon Lide 110 works with Windows XP and Win 7, but not with Windows 7 (when Smart interactive whiteboard software is installed)

I must say that there is no problem with the Smart or Windows 7 software, as both continue to work regardless of Canon software or smart Technologies or not being installed. However, when the chip is removed the scanner Canon works on Windows 7.

Have you ever had a similar conflict? You have all of the solutions that we have 12 smartboards in our school and we can act is more 12 scanners with Windows 7

  • Acrobat 9 Pro refuses to communcate with my new scanner Canon LiDE 220.

I have been using Acrobat 9 Pro with a scanner Canon LiDE 210 years.  My scanner broke and I replaced it with the 220 LiDE.  I get an error message - 5,155,55 "cannot communicate with scanner.  The scanner works very well with its own software.  I do a lot of scanning and must work quickly - there is not time to "bypass" even in one.  Canon support said that Adobe has stopped supporting twain drivers and that there is a plugin somewhere for that.  I can't find.  Can anyone help?  (Windows 7)

    Hi teresak5103585,

That's right, that adobe does not support Twain drivers.

Scan using Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) instead of TWAIN (Windows XP only).

Acrobat supports Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) drivers. If your scanner is supported by two pilots, then select the WIA driver in the device menu in the dialog box create a PDF from Scanner. Scan the document.

    Kind regards

I'm running win7 64 bit.  I have a Canon FB630U scanner.  I got it for many years and it works very well.  However, I need the drivers for it for win7 64-bit.  Canon website shows that the drivers for XP, 2000 and 98.  Is there a chance/hack that I could do to make it work in Win7?
I hate to throw a scanner perfect condition just because there is no support driver.

    Thank you

    Hello Timmy 2 beers,

Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.  The question you posted seems to be hardware related. Unfortunately, we are unable to help with changes to the hardware.  Please contact the manufacturer for assistance.

Drivers are created by the factory; Unfortunately, it seems that Canon will not do all the Vista drivers for this device at this time.  I would hold off on throwing the scanner because we don't know what tomorrow will bring.

Let us know if these steps solve your problem.  I hope the information is useful.

  • Vista Ultimate 64 - Driver scanner Canon 4400f not recognized/corrupted

I have a USB of Canon 4400F scanner that works fine with other computers (Vista laptop and a desktop Windows XP), but for some reason any drivers/registry for this device is messed up on my PC, and it will not (re) install correctly.
It worked perfectly for a long time (over a year), but do not use it for a while, after he is now stuck in the same unusable state, no matter what I do. I suppose that some day that something has caused this.

All started with Device Manager telling me that the scanner was disabled when I had a glance to see why the scanner did not work. So, I allowed it. Status changed and then "no drivers are installed for this device. Yet, in the tab drivers, drivers are listed (good version) and appear as it should (the driver dll files are still visible and correct).

    So here's what I've tried:

    (1) uninstall the device and drivers. Reset. Reinstall the drivers, then plug in the device. Status: disabled. Activation of gives the original problem no 'drivers '.

    (2) uninstall again, this time including the devices 'hidden' when he was in other USB ports. Searched the registry for all traces of the appliance, by product ID, code provider GUID, name of the manufacturer etc.. Deleted every file temp (windows General and specific user) and also the windows update "DataStore" and "Downloads" folder just to be safe.
Now, this method worked in the past for a U3 USB key that there was an identical error. This time? Restart, install the drivers, install device - FAIL. Even disabled error followed by 'pilots No. "

Drastic 3) measures - (2), but also uninstalled and reinstalled the USB drivers themselves for controllers and hubs. Rebooted and waited while each unique device USB driver has been installed from scratch (mouse, keyboard, etc.). Install scanner drivers and plugged into the scanner. Same end result - all USB works except the scanner.

I tried the above with both versions of the drivers from the Canon Website and the original driver CD.

Is there another location on the C: drive or in the registry that I might be missing? Again, this scanner works fine when I install it on other PCs that have never seen before, so I'm convinced it's my registry or files corrupted, hidden somewhere in C:\Windows\. All my other USB devices work perfectly.

Without having to reinstall Windows, is there a way to reset all USB and Windows thinks that he has never seen a single USB device before? As I said, the scanner works perfectly when I plug it into another PC - no need to install the drivers as Windows Update Gets the last and it works!

    System information:
    Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit
    4 GB OF RAM
    AMD Phenom 9950 CPU
    Lots of disk space

    Karena,

Thanks for your suggestion - but I managed to fix another way before I saw your post, so I have not been able to test your method.
I uninstalled SP2 (with the intention of doing a repair using my Vista SP1 DVD). However, after removing SP2, the scanner worked! Then I reinstalled SP2 and it still works. A little boring because we won't know what was arrested exactly-, but I guess that this method could have changed the location of the registry that you mentioned?

I bookmarked this thread for future use so, thank you again for answering.

  • Scanner Canon CanoScan 3000F color Image

Now that I have Windows 7 I find that this scanner is no longer supported by Canon to update the driver. Is it possible to use this device or I'll have to, scrap it?

    VueScan now on the 3000F

"VueScan works with the Canon 3000F under Windows.

You must install a Canon scanner driver to use this scanner under Windows. Unfortunately, Canon has a driver for this scanner for Windows x 64. »

The second paragraph contains the stumbling, because there is no installable driver of Canon for the 3000F.

Many scanners is taken in charge by the pilots in Vuescan, but not all unfortunately...

If you wish, you can use the Compatibility Mode to install if it fails to install correctly

    Right-click on the Setup file
    choose Properties
    Select the Compatibility tab
    Select the Vista 64-bit
