Scanner Photosmart Premium C310a for error on Windows 7 64 bit

Hi all

I bought a HP Photosmart Premium C310a this weekend. Everything works fine except the scan. This is what the problem is:

When I try to scan (through the centre of solutions) I get an error message as soon as scanning starts software (hpiscnapp.exe) that says: (translation of the Dutch for some of them may not be accurate) the scan cannot be made because the HP imagingdevice has a network and is used by another program or computer. Try again later.

Description of the error extended; 4, [(0,400,80004005), (2,33,80040013), (3,33,0)]

Nothing (no other program or computer) is using the scanner at the moment. The strange thing is I have Windows 7 64-bit systems and on the system, 32-bit and Windows 7 32-bit system works very well.  [EDIT: just encountered the same error on the PORTABLE 32-bit too :-(]

Scanning from the façade C310a and selecting the computer also translate this error.

Wireless connection to the C310a directly via an "ad hoc" connection does not either.

I deleted all HP components (including using the abduction utillity L4) and them reinstalled several times. Through the page Web of the C310a scanning is possible, but with resolutions lower (max 600 dpi). I ran the diagnostic HP, no result (HPPS.exe) program.

Context: C310a is wireless in the same network as the three laptop computers box.

Laptops: 2 x Windows 7 64-bit, 1 x Windows 7 32 bit

No problem: 1 x Windows 7 32 bit [EDIT: just encountered the same error on the PORTABLE 32-bit too :-(]

Problem: 2 x Windows 7 64 bit.

Been strugling with this problem for a few days. Would be very happy if someone knows how to solve this problem.

Hi Travis (and maybe somebody else who will have the same problem in the future).

So I finally got to do the work. Here's what I did. I backed up my data, wiped my laptop completely and reinstalled all software, including 64-bit Windows. Now everything works flawelessly. Don't ask me why, or what caused the problem because I know and still can not understand.

At least everythings works as it should and I hope it will stay like that.

  • Windows 7 32 bit can not find the driver for printer Photosmart Premium C310a

    I recently had an update to the product directly on my printer Photosmart Premium C310a on Internet.  However, this then to Windows 7 (32 bit) to search for a driver for the printer but it could not find a.  If I click on devices and printers, it shows my device from the computer as requiring troubleshooting.  When I click on troubleshooting it signals that "Driver for Photosmart Prem 310 is not installed.  Install the latest version of the driver.  When I applied the fix, it indicates that the driver is not found.

    How can I convince the device manager that everything is going well (apparently)?

    apeace, I recommend you do as you did, uninstall the printer under programs and features but also by ensuring that this printer he is removed from the Manager of peripherals and devices and printers.     I bought a HP Photosmart Premium C310a and now I am trying install the drivers for it on my new computer with Windows 7 x 64. I tried only the driver (PS_AIO_07_C310_FSW_Basic_Win_rus_140_246.exe), and the full package (PS_AIO_07_C310_FSW_Full_Win_rus_140_246.exe) official website - both of them give me the same error: when I agree with the license terms, the installation checks the update and then disappears without notice or cause.

    Please help me as soon as POSSIBLE.

    PS: I can't find the original CD.

    My Photosmart Premium C310a printer print is darker.  The following information may be useful:

    • Product number: CN503A, model number C310a
    • Two PC printer: we're a Windows 8.1 operating system (64-bit) and the other is a Windows 7

    So far, I conducted the following remediation efforts:

    • Replace the ink cartridge
    • Used HP support assistance to try to clean the printer and align the printer.  Alignment failed.
    • Replace the print head with a refurbished HP printhead.  (This also includes cleaning the area specified in the replacement instructions).
    • The printer still does not print in black.
    • Tried to align the print head.  He failed.

    Any suggestions?  The printer is no longer guaranteed.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C310A...

    HP Photosmart Premium C310A... Error message indicates that the smaller black cartridge is missing.

    I bought a black XL and put it in the slot of the largest. I threw the small cartridge and now the printer does nothing with an enpty slot.  I went to the store and bought a new rear cartridge that said XL on the box.  When I got home it IS a XL and custom insert into the smaller slot. Stores here carry not more the smaller cartridge for blacks.  It's so frustrating.  This printer has been a huge disappointment. Even when I have all new cartridges I don't get over 10 pages until the ink is gone. It is $ 3.00 per page to print in black only or in color. (BS.)

    How can I get this printer to bypass the smaller cartridge slot and read more?

    The smaller "black" cartridge is a photo cartridge.  You need to replace the photo cartrdige, the printer cannot print without all cartridges installed.  (Further - withdrawal from a tape for a long time will allow the print head to dry out, which can cause damage permamant...)

After that initial set-up of the printer was working fine (not to mention that the white lines printed in the photos, but I could deal with it).   • Photosmart Premium C310a worked wireless for 2 years is suddenly dissconnected

    I have been successfully using my Photosmart C310a for 2 years.  I used a day earlier this week, and the next he said: it is disconnected. The State of the network printer shows that it is connected to my network - the same network, use my laptop and desktop.  Computers are simply not able to communicate with the printer.  I tried to use a solution that I read on the forum by entering the ip address of the printer in my browser, but the browser comes up with the error that it cannot connect to 192.168.1.102. I tried HP and Scan Dr. Printing without solution (because it is impossible to connect with the printer - although it does not find the printer for me to select.)  I reset my router, unplugged the printer and reset to the factory settings.  I tried to disable the firewall, but I did no changes firewall and the printer worked until earlier this week.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't help that my black ink no longer works, so I can't print the diagnostic reports. The cartridge is new and worked fine before this cut happened.  Ink level is showing as complete.  I tried "clean cartridges" twice, but when I tried "align printer" alignment failed.

    I love this printer and do not overwork it - I hope someone can help me...

    I think I have fixed both my problems!

    I completely restarted and reset my router and then my printer has been reconnected.  Then I could get into the tool box and clean the print heads to get black print again. And has then been successful in aligning the printer.

    Also, I decided to try a solution given by 'PrintDoc' in one of his posts to someone who has a similar problem of disconnection.  I put a manual ip address.  I hope that this will solve the future problems of disconnection.  Here are the instructions:

    The best solution that works sometimes is to set a static IP address:

    -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
    -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
    -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
    -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address).  If you don't know it, enter the current IP address.
    -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
    -Let the gateway and DNS white.  Click on ' apply

    Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

    If this does not work, change the channel of your router to 11.  Yes, that sounds strange... just try it.

Last week, I installed Advanced SystemCare free for optimization and I think it's a great freeware. However, yesterday I wanted to uninstall it because I feel that my laptop is still new and will not need this time. After uninstalling Advanced SystemCare free app, I got an action center message saying "Scan for errors in training." After I click on that nothing happens. I tried several measures to resolve, but it won't work. I tried to go to action center and click on "Run Scan" not to mention that the message 'we found potential errors on a disk and need to scan. You can continue to use the player during the analysis". However, it does nothing after that I clicked on "Run Scan". I also tried a manual "Error Scan" of my properties of partition of windows_(c:), mais il n'a trouvé aucune erreur.) After all it is a not works, I google and try to find a solution. I found that someone is facing a similar problem like me but they have not confirmed whether or not the recommended steps told by some ITexperts work. I did what they recommend to do such as: chkdisk and sfc/scannow. Chkdisk I was told to check disc by cmd is restarted and I did. He blocked for hours and hours at 27%. The sameway goes for sfc/scannow, after checking 100% nothing happens after so long. I am really confused about this. I do it every week disk defrag to ensure my portable hard drive smoothly run and scan using windows Defender every day. Although its only a single message I got from the center of the action, I'm really worried and the message annoys me somehow. I really hope someone can find a solution for this. Thanks :)

    I'm sorry that you are having this problem. There are several steps you can take to help your connection problem. First of all, when the printer is connected to your network, print a Network Setup page. On this page, use the ip address of the printer and that type in the address bar of your internet browser on your computer. Will take you to the server of the web integrated printer (EWS). Look for the Networking tab change the automatic ip addressing to public static ip (manual). You will then enter the ip address of the printer, followed by the subnet mask, and finally the default gateway, the info that will be on the Network Setup page you printed. Below, you'll assign 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as the primary and secondary DNS. Who should manage the intermittent connection loss problems.
