Scanning for ScanJet G3110 software does not install

I downloaded the latest version of the software recommended directly from the HP support site.  Operating system is Win7 64 bit. The Setup program ends in a few moments with no error message, but I don't have desktop shortcut icons. The installation program creates the folder: "C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\" with two subfolders: 'Temp' and 'Digital Imaging '. Digital imaging files inside I can't find many application files and it is not the application of \bin\hpqkygrp.exe.

On a pc with windows VISTA and default CD Installer evertything works very well.

I noticed a lot of missing files from installation, as a common folder. The pc's in a network domain and I launched the configuration in the user domain and domain administrator.

I tried several times in different days/months/updates to day... Please help.

Just because the HP scanning software does not work I can not restore my entire system, I can't accept this as a solution.

I tried System File Checker (0 problems) and to boot, the problem "remains the same" (see Led Zeppelin).

I finally found a solution, I installed NAPS2, available at sourceforge.net/projects/naps2/ free scanning software.

  • HP M1212NF software does not install or be detected if USB

    My laserjet M1212nf is not found when connected by USB. From the installation disc, it stops at "waiting for you connect the device. However, the printer will print, but it does not install the printing software. I need the software for the printer I need to scan in PDF format.

    I downloaded the drivers, changed the usb cord, so that everything is connected, repaired by the installation CD and rebooted my computer.

    Have you tested the SD card on another PC?

    I can't reinstall the complete solution to scan for my Color HP LasterJet CM2320nf MFP print/software. He complains about the USB drivers and a USB device. "This computer has no USB software necessary support to allow for the completion of an installation of the USB."

    I suspect that my laptop is too recent. He works exclusively off the coast of USB 3.0 ports, which caused problems with installation programs that flow from readers reading and USB external hard drives.

    Once the installation to the Welcome screen appears, click CTRL + SHIFT + ESC, the Task Manager opens.

    On the Applications tab locate the HP Installation, right-click and select go to process.

    Then right-click illustrated process, in menu click right to select the location of the open file, installation source opens.

    Open the installation folder, locate the file named USBReady.exe and rename it or delete it.

    Note: If you can't find it in the installation folder, look for usbready.exe in the main installation folder and edit the file.

    Once the file has been renamed or deleted, click install and follow the installation, then check all difference.

  • software for the printer driver does not install

    My printer is C7100 all-in-one.  My OS is windows 7 - message comes back "could not install any software.

    I recommend traverse "Programs and features" in your control panel and manual uninstall of the printer, then shut down and restart your computer. If the files do not uninstall, then you can have a deeper problem with your operating system.

    Once the software is missing, try again after the above link and by installing the full setting software.

    Reinstalled Windows 10 on this PC laptop shortly after purchase (clean install to remove all the bloating) and

    Software HP Coolsense and DriveGuard will not install. After having downloaded DriveGuard and try to run the installer, nothing happens, so I go to the list of programs and see here but it is grayed out. Tried the latest version 6.0.28.1 Rev.A. When you try to install Coolsense I get an error message that the software of .net framework must be installed, but it is already part of Windows 10.

    Anything can happen on the ideas?

    CoolSense requires .NET Framework 3.5, which can be present on a new installation of Windows 10 - you can check it as follows.

    Hold down the Windows key and press R.

    In the run box, type appwiz.cpl , and then press ENTER.

    In the left pane, select "Windows turn features on or off" and let the list populate.

    If .NET Framework 3.5 (included .NET 2.0 and 3.0) is not selected, add a check mark, and then click Ok.

    Once installation is complete, restart the computer, let Windows take over completely for a few minutes, and then try to re-run the installer to CoolSense.

    As far as HP 3D DriveGuard is concerned, you could try the following.

    Hold down the Windows key and press R.

    In the run box, type appwiz.cpl , and then press ENTER.

    Make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and choose uninstall.

    Once complete, download and reinstall the Chipset driver below.

    When this has completed, restart the laptop.

    When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

  • 7520 photosmart all-in-in-one: software does not install correctly

    I have installed and uninstalled 3 or 4 times. Started and restarted several times. Setup places a shortcut to a program on my desktop. Nothing happens when I click on this shortcut. The printer will print and scan to computer works. What kind of program the shortcut is pointing to and how to operate / or do I need?

    BTW the shortcut in the start menu that points to the same program does not work.

    The complete solution for the unavailable G4050 since for Mac OS X 10.6.  But we have published a solution that uses the image transfer application that is built into Mac OS X.  This solution continues to work in the Mavericks.

    With respect to Mac OS 10.6... the main reason, I see that the error is if you have installed HP scanning and ICA solution at the same time.  The two solutions cannot be used on the same computer.

    I recently had to upgrade my computer - I have a HP Pavilion with Windows 8.1 (64-bit).  I have a ScanJet G4010 and can't do the drivers/software to install.  I've disabled my anti-virus (McAfee) and downloaded.  When I click to open the download it asks my permission to change settings, etc... and that's all.  It won't go any further.  Any suggestions?

    In fact, I found and installed the new scanning HP for Windows 8.1 software - which is HP Scan and Capture (you can buy it in the outlook store).  It seems to have solved my problem and my scanner works fine.  Now, I just have to settle with the new software.

    Try this solution:

    > Enter "View installed updates" in the search bar of Windows. It will show you an option in Control Panel.

    > Click on the indicated option.

    > Select the "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3132372)" and an uninstall option will appear next to the drop-down list to organize.

    > Click on Uninstall and work through all prompts.

    > Once uninstalled, I hope your problem will be solved.

  • My HP Photosmart 309 g software does not install

    I downloaded the installer, PS_AIO_06_C309g-m_USW_Full_Win_enu_140_175. After I double-click on, it will extract 100% - so nothing happens.  Even with the software that that can be found on the CD supplied with the product (purchased in 2010).  I click the set-up file - nothing happens.  Pourrait - what does this have to do with after having installed the driver Tuner?
